I have used Geovision for many years. I used to like them, but they are falling behind their competitors. So many features are missing that everyone else already has. Timeline viewing is one of those missing features. Even Unifi Protect has that feature, which is pretty sad given the fact Unifi Protect isn't that great. I feel like they just don't care about the mobile app. This is making me debate dropping all of our geovision equipment and going to something else.

Lacks a few features that are nice in competitors' apps, but overall a functional and relatively basic app. I love that upon displaying a camera the app gives you a fast-forward review of the last several seconds, allowing me to see what it was that alerted me to begin with. I haven't seen this feature elsewhere and it's a smart feature.

App is terrible. Constantly locks me out of my security system and when I try to relog back in it tells me I'm putting in the incorrect password. (EDIT) IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE APP ITSELF. Im talk about when I go to add my cameras after putting in the ip, port, etc. I know the user name and password are correct so I don't know whats wrong with your app.

This app does not work well at all with my Android device. I have 19 cameras (soon to be 24) and this app takes 5-7 minutes to load the images. Then when you swipe to another page, you sit there waiting for it to load all over again. I have used other apps and did not have this problem. My camera installer said I had to go to this app to support the new cameras (geovision) but I cannot use this app if that is how long it takes.

The app works perfectly but then Im a tech so I know how to make it work. the snapshot function works but not the video record , Im running android 10 on a samsung A11 , Ive set all permissions on for the app but still the video record just pops up a message " please wait" then disappears , so any ideas on how to make the video record word ?

It works, but setup is confusing at best. Modification is impossible. Want to change cameras on a screen? You have to delete and start over. Geovision is supposed to be a leader in the industry but their software is about 10 years behind everyone else's.

Of all the remote CCTV viewing apps, this is the worst I've come across. While I hesitate to give props to HikVision, their IVMS-4500 app would be a great benchmark for GVEye in terms of user experience, intuitiveness, grammatical clarity, etc

Terrible to use on your phone. Been using them since 2020 and it randomly stops with the remote cameras. Definitely not efficient and then tech support takes forever to even help or fix the issue

I have to uninstall and redownload app almost everyday because the app freezes my entire phone. I definitely would have went with different system if know of these issues. most of the time all my cameras wont even load.

Only shows 1 camera reached out to them and got told to update the app. Well in my email I stated I had just downloaded and was setting up. How do you expect me to update a app that was just downloaded from the Google Playstore. No help and can still only see one camera.

Very slow. unable to get cameras to open up quickly and Alot of times unable to have cameras open all together. Very annoying and disturbing.

It sux always crashes. Needs to be updated, when you try to test a connect it keeps testing non stop until the app crashes or you reset it

I have been using and installing geovision for years, this app works fine on my iPhone and iPad, however on my Samsung s10 cameras take for ever to load even when on the same LAN...

Used to work fine. Now the app crashes every time you open it. It has become completely useless.

More complicated to use than other apps. Takes many more steps to do the same thing on other apps. Not user friendly in any way.

I don't get the option to choose number of cams and only one cam shows up out 8. *UPDATE* Finally got it working. All cams are showing.

Doesn't work like app is set up.crashes off & on. Doesn't really control camera as well as intended.

Problems on ipad after updating to Version 2.6.1. App will not open. Have tried everything.

Need to have ability to have many screens in one group. Very difficult to switch groups. Please fix otherwise have to rethink buying more gv cameras. Edit: only 6 screens not enough

So. Required subscription for dewarping is removed with the new update. But i paid you guys $2.99 before. Now what? Are you going to refund us the charge?

Why don't I hear the audio anymore? It says audio codec problem? It was working b4. It socks.

The APP inside selection of view room was more than normal and viewable was a perfection picture.
