Update 3-28-2022. App still doesn't work with my phone (listed below). There seems to have been an update of the app, but it still isn't working on my phone. Does not work with my phone I have a Samsung Galaxy Note10+5g, with Android 11 os system. This app hasn't worked for me from day 1. So 2 ☆, but only because I use my kids phone, Samsung Galaxy S8+ from a few years ago, and I was able to use the app. Just need it to work for my phone, and I'll have no issues.

I had to install and uninstall this program at least 20 times. And then when I paired it. I did it about 40 times and kept moving my distance either closer or further away. And finally after about 2 weeks it worked. And I am using a samsung note 8 phone. The ipad worked instantly. So this program can use alot of tweaking because if someone does not try as much as i did. They will never get it working with the samsung note 8.

The unit does not connect with my Samsung Note 10, OnePlus 6 and other Samsung phones. The only device it was able to connect to was an iPhone 6. And the app says iOS users may have a connection issue with the unit, how ironic. This is very disappointing and embarrassing especially with many guests. The unit works fine, but the thing that really made me buy this is the added function through the GV Smart App. I demand a fix for this.

Love it. Works well with my GK Edit 6-Jan-2020. After using the app and machine for a long time now the one thing I hate the most is having to buy a song pack for just one song. I might want 1 song from the pack. It would be much better if there was a single song option to buy only the songs I wont and not fill up the machine with songs I don't want. Please can you look into making an option like this. Thanks. On another note I have used other Android phones with the App and have not had a problems.

Apo crashes on Pixel 3XL. I hope your dev team can look into this issue. I installed the app on a Pixel 3XL phone running on Android 11. When the app is ran, all it does is show the splash screen and at the point when the "Update song Data Base" message is shown, the app just crashes. Giving a review of 3 stars since I know the app works on my older android phone. This issue I think happens only on selected phone models (or maybe Android versions) but still needs to be addressed.

The app works really well. Software update needs to be downloaded and transfered to a flash drive and should be plugged into the device which i think the most reliable way of updating a software (may need basic technical skills on how software and hardware works). Song update volume works. I downloaded 5 song update volumes through this app which seamlessly synced with the device. Easy as cake! :D

Horrible. I downloaded the app to try to add some songs and it won't even load/download. I really wanted to sing those songs that were supposed to be added but I guess Karaoke Night is cancelled. It was very expensive to buy it and to add some songs but the app is completely useless.

Kindly fix the updated application, its not working anymore. After downloading the app it says " Uncompleted operation exist. Please try again later"! This is so embarrasing! I've tried many times to disconnect and reconnect but same results saying "connecting takes 10-15 seconds"! I also give feedback to your email but it says "ADDRESS NOT FOUND! YOUR MESSAGE WASNT DELIVERED! Your immediate action for this.

I use a Samsung S9+ and the AP mode still does not work since I've had the Symphony SE Pro Plus a few months now. I understand other reviewers have the exact same issue. Looking at review replies it has clearly been a major issue. The issue still has not been resolved since last month despite assurances a fix may be found in "a matter of days" a month ago. Only using hotspot mode to connect to the karaoke system is very limiting as it only supports one device.

We recently bought a Grand Videoke Set, and they said that you could connect up to 4 devices that you could use as a song selector/remote but whenever one of us tries to connect to the Player, the other one gets kicked out. So all in all, only one will have the control instead of at least 4 like they said its supposed to be. Please help, is the player defective or something? Please help

Since the most recent update dated September 24, a bug fix was applied and the app is no longer in odd landscape mode. Everything is working as expected in portrait mode just as it was a few months ago. Thank you for resolving the issue.

After the upgrade, now the reserved song keep on repeating even after deleting or cancel reservation after playing new song all previous reserved songs will play again Also new songs album wont add to the machines. Even adding new song and code won't work. I still have codes to be added but does not allow me to add, it did not show the prompt to enter the codes. I prefer the old app much simpler and even your tutorial video used the old app

Please fix this app, it's not working anymore. I am connected on the same Wi-Fi network, and when i connect it. It's not doing anything rather than saying "connecting takes 10-15 seconds" so fix this bug as much as possible, I am just dissappointed right now.

So far, I've had a great user app experience. From choosing songs, to moving reserve song priority, this app can do it instead of using the remote. Wish the external files can also be searched in some separate category similar to when using the song book?

I am a pretty tech savvy person. Using a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with most recent update. I cannot connect my phone to the device. Using home network connected to Verizon Fios. 2.4ghz and 5ghz both do not connected. Tried using my phone as a mobile hotspot. No bueno. Fix this app please. As a Filipino, I am disappointed in this level of customer service. No updates since March. Especially when you consider what the price of this machine is. Thinking of switching to a MagicSing or Platinum Karaoke

It was working perfectly fine when I first used it. It easily detected and read the qr code (even with low lightning) the unit immediately connected to my phone using the gv smart app. But then when I'm about to use it again after a few months I turned on the unit then connect it to my smart phone, the gv smart app accepted the qr code at first with no problem at all. My dilema started when I click the "new update" button on the gv smart app... after the update the unit restarted and then it suddenly said I'm not connected to the gv smart app, so I tried connecting MULTIPLE times but it keeps saying "invalid qr code"...I uninstalled, reinstalled the gv smart apps even the qr code scanner apps I did the same thing....It was so frustrating..if I knew this would happen I should have never updated my grand karaoke using the apps, I should have just kept the original setting.... I've read all the comments and it seems everyone has the same problem "qr code invalid" !!!!! And by the way, I'm using Note 10 plus before the update with no problem whatsoever and the issue just started after the update. So I don't think this error has something to do with the phone. I even check my phone if it is compatible with the apps by using the qr code scanner apps alone and it directed me to the gv smart apps saying your device is compatible with this apps.. So why the heck it keeps saying "qr code invalid" ...I even switched from hotspot to AP as the customer rep repeatedly advised the people having the same issue as me, that it will somehow fixed the problem but still nothing worked !!!!!! TAKE NOTE I'M USING THE SAME PHONE NOTE 10 PLUS BEFORE AND AFTER THE UPDATE

Trying to download the app for my symphony pro 3 plus, when I did not allow the app to access my files, photos, contacts, make contacts, record video. The app wont open or work. Very poor app and looks like a scam where they try to access your file just so you can use the app.

GV app v1.2.9 won't connect to my new Rhapsody unit. Using the system in Canada, brought from Phils. Same home network on AP mode. Can anyone advise how to make this app work? Be willing to give 3 stars or more coz based on what I can see on the app, functionality looks pretty complete. If only I can use the app on my phone (OnePlus6) as a remote.

I just bought your Grand videoke Symphony SE Pro Plus (great machine) but I am having trouble pairing it with the gv smart app. I put the machine in WiFi and it comes up with QR code that I should scan when pairing with the app. I am trying to pair it with my IPad so I set it as AP mode. When I try to scan it it says connection failed. I tried so many times and no luck. I also reinstalled the app and still can't pair it. Please advise what else I can do.

I tried both Options in how to connect the GV machine to my GV app (phone) but still no luck.. we have a wifi connection that says my GV is connected to it, but when i want to pair to the app it says "connecting. Please wait. This will take about 10~15seconds. . ." but unfortunately the connection process takes for about 10mins to 30mins and so on. ... .and guess what still no avail or luck that it connects successfully. What a waste of your app. .
