Zijun Zhao: Better than the offical one despite the network block in China, this app can still visit wikipedia while the official one can't.

vikash singh: Great app Provides login facility and bookmark ur pages, save page for later or offline reading, zooming as well as tabbed browsing. Thats really gr8 but could be improved even better.

Agung Trianto Widya Nugraha: Fast & simple I like that this app loads lightly and simple. Easy top copy text and sends it to my translator app either. Good work, dev!

3 separate sets of menu items means it takes some getting used to finding the right button you want to select. Pictures disappear immediately after pages load. This also happens with no images selected in the settings. Actually, the tick in the box for load images keeps coming back even after hitting save. Great ideas for features though.. Windows, bookmarks, quick language switch (although it would be better if the current article would be shown in the language that was switched to, not looking up the)etc.

I purchased the gwiki pro key and gwiki worked fine. Recently, however, the pictures display for an instant and then disappear and are replaced with a tiny icon (a tiny page icon with the top right corner turned down). The standard wiki app displays the pictures ok. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

There are many Wikipedia apps in the Play Store. Few of them are any more useful than the official one. This one is an exception. A clean layout, the ability to save articles and tabbed browsing (!!!) Push this one to the upper ranks. Not too many bells and whistles, and this is good, but it has everything a wiki app should have.

I live in amidst wonderful mysteries. Fairystones finding shelter in the ground. Ancient Indian seines put out of the way under rivers with rhythms now controlled by progress. Lake islands of cemetery tombstones staunchly testifying names & vitality to village folk forever lost under floodwaters. Rain & wind bared iron cauldrons like those forest discoveries that once concealed buried treasure. Music modalities betraying disparate ethnic origins a people who now live as one & sing gospel thanks to God

I used to use this app all the time on my home screen. Now it no longer works. I emailed the developers but no response.

Images *still* broken, *still* disappear constantly, even IMMEDIATELY following reboot. Says "Fix Wikipedia picture not display issue" under latest version's "What's new", but that IS NOT the case. The sad truth is I feel this dev simply doesn't care enough to take care of business, based on my share of dealings with him. This is the ONLY app I've seen behave this way, and this nonsense has been going on over 3 *years* now. Started at 5★, is now 2★ all because dev refuses to properly address this one issue.

Would have given it 5 stars, but I've got the same problem like many others, that images keep on disappearing too frequently. Otherwise, it's a nice app, supporting easy language switching and offline reading. Please fix the image bug to make it an excellent app! Update: Reduced the rating from 4 to 3 stars because of two more issues I found out recently. First, I purchased a PRO key, but it applies only to a single device. On my other device, the app doesn't upgrade automatically, like other apps usually do. Not a nice business policy... Second, when reading saved pages while being online, all links yield a 'webpage not available' error. The app should recognize that I'm online, and open non-saved pages online. All in all, the app is nice, but still very far from being mature.

I use Wiki a lot, and prefer this one over the others because I can bookmark articles and put them in various categories. My main complaint is that it does not sync across devices so I cannot access my bookmarks from device 2 device. What's up devs, you don't like the cloud? ;)

That big advert bar was too distracting on my tablet, though the app is efficient enough.

Guess I'm spoiled coming from iOS where the wiki app is legit. Not 10,000 junk 3rd party apps. Anyway, this isn't even the best wiki app, it's just the one I'm tolerating this week. Hopefully Android Market catches up soon.

Images disappear, night mode has stopped working. Has issues but has not been updated in a long time.

This is a good app when looking for information on Wikipedia, but there's a problem, which I hope will be fixed quickly. The photos disappear, causing the page to jump to another point, and it jumps several times more. Sometimes I've intended to touch a link, and the page has jumped and I've touched the wrong link. This is very annoying! Please fix it!

Great simply because you can pinch to zoom, a much needed feature left out of the official app.

I hope there is also for off-line.

Reliability should be the top priority for an app like this. When you save dozen articles to your device and then aren't able to access them, it can be extremely frustrating. Everything seems to be working fine now but I won't rate it higher until I can use it for at least a year without any hiccups. Please also change the text for the dark theme to white. Dark gray does not provide anywhere near enough contrast on a pitch black background.

While saving a page, the original Wikipedia tables and images don't save well. The original app does the work well.

Dan. M. Jan 3, 2015

It used to be great. Now search is broken, and it keeps bugging me to upgrade to pro even though I have it.

Ton. M. Mar 27, 2015

The included search engine doesn't work properly, but it's not that much of a big deal. Otherwise, this is a fantastic application!

Great way to search, view and save Wikipedia articles for offline use. My only complaint is that I can't save the images separately from the articles.

Cho. C. Jan 16, 2015

The app runs smoothly on my device. Just that i hv problem downloading articles for offline review. Nice apps though.

A. G. u. Feb 18, 2014

Tabs, find in page, easy language switches... only one thing missing: to get the browser to open the app when you click on a link (like it happens with the official app)

Dav. D. Nov 26, 2016

I'm a very curious person and having a 1 stop app to feed my hunger for knowledge is awesome. Easier than pulling up a browser and "googling" it.

Finally. A feature rich Wikipedia reader that supports text reflow under Kit Kat. For those keeping score at home, Google - in it's infinite wisdom - has removed system level text reflow from Kit Kat but GWiki supports it. Now I can zoom in - I have old eyes - and GWiki will reflow the text. Woo and Yay indeed. Add in multiple windows, offline reading, bookmarking and multiple text sizes and you have a winner.

Many times a day even after buying pro version. Fine. I've rated it.

Gar. D. Mar 4, 2014

For a Wikipedia browser on an android smartphone, this one works quite well. I don't care for its opening screen, but other than that it works well on my Casio running 4.x

Kei. B. Dec 6, 2014

If could create sub-categories within a category, would give it 5 stars.
