To minimise the effect on any mobile data allowances we recommend first running the app when connected to the internet via a wi-fi connection. Please ensure at least 250m/b of free space on your device.

See the records leap off the pages of your Guinness World Records 2014 book in full 3D!Readers of this year's GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS 2014 edition can access a new dimension of record-breaking with this FREE "augmented reality" (AR) app available on Google Play. All you need to do is to download the mobile or tablet app and scan the pages of the book to see the records come alive.
What you'll see:
• Inside, look for the SEE IT 3D alerts – there are 12 to find, from videos and virtual reality features to full interactive 3D animations
• Meet the world's shortest woman and have your photo taken with her ACTUAL SIZE!
• Take control of the largest ever carnivorous dinosaur and walk it around the pages of your book.
• Experience the view from the top of Mount Everest in virtual reality – you won't need to leave the comfort of your armchair!
• Enter the photo booth and see what you and your friends would look like if you had the world's longest tongue or longest beard!
• Watch videos clips of the most exciting records (video will be downloaded within the app on request).
How it works:
To activate the 3D animations, look out for the SEE IT 3D logo in the pages of the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS 2014 book. When you see the logo, launch the app, point your device's camera at the book page and watch as the records comes to life.
This FREE augmented reality app is available to anyone with a compatible Android device with a camera.

In App Billing Extra Records: Since the new version (1.1 or higher) has been released you are able to purchase a few extra records. Simply click on the “Locker” icon from the main menu, wait the GWR214 Store menu to appear and purchase the record. Once the purchase has been approved you can go to the page described in the popup menu or use the new marker that has been saved on your photo gallery.
Please pay attention: The Tallest Man will only be visible to Multi Core Devices, before purchasing it check on your device’s official documentation.

This is such a clever way to bring a book to life. My nephew is a huge fan of GWR and this app made it that much better. Being able to march the dinosaur around the page was even fun for the grown-ups! Roar!!! Anyway if you can't get it to work please don't blamed the app. You are obviously not doing something correctly. It does not take long to download either. Oh, and since you don't have to pay for it (a.k.a. FREE) stop calling it a ripoff.
Only front page worked, dont know whether this is because its a library book or because its poorly made, disappointed me, the front looked really good
This doesn't open on my phone so I can't say it's a bad app, but if you have a Samsung Galaxy S3 this might not work.
I can install it ok but all it is doing is saying please so i unstalled it. If you were thinking about installing it dont its a waste of time and space . xxxx

When I pressed play the screen went totaly black and didn't work! Sooooooo upset!
This is such a horrible game it ask for stupid tgings and dosent even make anything 3d. So disappointed😡.
Sir, whenever I try to open the book it shows loading main features and then the screen turns fully black. Sir please look after this matter because I too want to enjoy the Guinness book of world record.
It won't let you do anything unless you have a world record book
I opened it and it says loading feature when it not even facing the book :-(, 2013 was much better
We're is the 2015 app I got the book but I can't find the app
How the devil are you supposed 5o understand the instructions? I have the book and downloaded the app and it does bugger all. I try press play but all I get is my camera activating and nothing else happens. Fricken useless!!!!
Stop complaining the only way itll work is if you have the book and i have a book and the app works perfect

This app doesn't do anything, don't get it. I rated it one because that's as low as you can rate it if I could, I would rate it zero but you can't.
Pretty cool! But, I can't find the 2015 World Record book Reality app for the S7 edge.
With all the bad comments I thought it would be a ripoff! But gee, was I wrong!!! It was so cool! My sister is amazed, just like me! :D I give it a A++++++++++++++++++++++++

Tried downloading it and it gave me errors saying it couldn't download it to either phone or SD card. Wasted time trying. 0 stars if I could, because I DO have the specs it asks for in the book. Oh well. Won't be buying the Guinness books anymore. *Update* Tried everything the Troubleshooting suggested. It still doesn't work. Maybe for Christmas I'll get a phone that the app will download to. Sorry for the negative review, as I didn't get to try it, so it was unfair of me to give one star. The 5 stars is for the Guinness books. They're really cool!
