Gyde - Thermogauge

Giving 4 stars after the update. Only because I had to email the company just to get the update back in April. After I sent the unit back. Does not work with Android 10. Watched the review from the shop and everything was great till the device got here and I found out what app to download. Then I found that they have not updated the app to work with Android 10. I've had 10 for more than 8 months and I he app is still not updated to work with it. Without the app my heated jacket is useless 😡😡😡

thanks for the update but it is not asking for Bluetooth permissions to connect to the phone. My phone will connect to the jacket Bluetooth controller but the app can't connect with out the permissions granted from Samsung Note10+. thanks please fix.

Went to take a ride on my Harley Breakout. My 1000 dollar heated clothing was useless because the app won't support the latest Android update. Tried to call Gyde, of course they would not answer the phone. Called two other distributers they had no idea. Thank you Jonathan, for you review, as i do still have my old Android phone. Was able to ride after all!!

Hasn't been updated since 2016, therefore if you bought the$100 controller that this app is for, you can't use it as it won't connect to the phone rendering said $100 controller completely useless

Doesn't bluetooth to my phone. Just says app is for previous android versions and flat out doesn't work. Now I have a 50 dollar Gyde/Gerbing bluetooth device that doesn't work at all. Garbage. Will never buy Gyde/Gerbing again.

Updated from 1 star! Just recieved an email from gyde tech department stating that they just updated their APP for Android phones up to Samsung S10. Just updated my APP and tried to operate my Gyde 7 volt with my Samsung S9 and it works again!!!

Completely useless with my phone. You think that would be in the product description that new phones are not compatible with this device.

Never in my life have I seen such a lack of support. If i could return every Gyde and Gerbing branded item i own, i would. How on earth can a company sell 1000 dollar suits, but has ZERO development support for the app needed to use that gear.

Doesnt work on android Update 01MAR20 still doesn't work on android. This company should be ashamed. I recommended their products to so many riders for winter gear. This is embarrassing that they can't update an app to run their own gear. Did the company fold or something?

The Gerbing app (formerly Gyde) has now finally been updated at the end of April 2020 and is working Bluetooth with Android 10 cellphones. Hope you find yourself warm & cozy while riding....most of all be safe out there

System does not work with Samsung Galaxy S10 android phone. Complete waste of money jacket and pants are now useless until I buy a manual controller pia you should fix your product

Cannot detect the gerbing battery. No instructions at all on getting battery into pairing mode. Useless

Does not connect to devices running Android 10. App needs to be updated, otherwise device is useless for Android users on newest OS.

Why doesn't the developer get off their lazy bottom and update this app so the latest Android can use it! This is utter BS!!!
