Great experience and worth the price. I was able to change out workouts on this app when I didn't have the equipment. I like that you can change/ record reps and weights. I enjoy the ability to create supersets. You can also choose rest time and the clock automatically starts when you hit done with a set. I also enjoy how there are so many options and guides for all levels. Reminders to increase weight. Only negative is if you get a new phone or delete the app all progress is lost.
After trying out the iPhone version the Android feels incomplete cause there are options missing. Not sure why they made this one different from the Apple version. One thing I don't like and would like to see added is that when you skip days going to the gym, the app continues your workouts where you left off. Also to be able to see the rest of the week's WODs.
next to no improvement to the app over the last 2 years I've had it. I'd like to see you be able to edit workouts during a workout, without stopping the workout. Also getting tired of recreating my workouts everytime I get a new phone. There has to be a way to save it to the app. create an account and such. Overall I like the app I paid for lifetime membership, but definitely feel like I should have a flip phone everytime I use this app. UPDATE!!
Great app. Whether you're starting out in a gym (like me) or an experienced athlete, this app caters for all. You can follow the set programmes for all kinds of requirements or create your own from scratch with just a few clicks. It has almost all gym exercises and their variations to draw from - meaning you can create almost any regime. The handy gifs and videos are really helpful if you're new to this as they show you correct form and technique. Would highly recommend, thanks.
I have been really enjoying using the app so far! Though one thing would really push it over the top for me. I think it would be really nice to have the ability to let yourself know that next time you do an exercise, next week let's say, that you should increase the weight. Either with a little green up arrow that you could check that would show up next week, or being able to add notes to your exercise routine. I find I forget sokmetimes and there's no note function for each exercise.
Potentially a very good app but none of workouts are available unless you upgrade to premium. It would be great to have a few of the beginner workout available for free without having to subscribe. It would give newbies an idea of what it can do before unlocking the premium version. I like how you can customize your own work out plan and has videos to show u as well as be able to add your own excercises if it's not in the app.
Great app, just missing integration capability. It has great exercise routines for every part of your body, plus you can build your own routines. For the yearly membership, this is a great deal, the interphase is well design but it is missing a very important part for me, the ability to connect to other apps like Fit, Samsung Health and so on. If it had that option, this app would be wonderful. Hopefully that feature can be added before my membership ends of not I may have to go.
Poor UI for the core functionality makes this app very frustrating and unusable for me. The rest countdown timer and progress bar is tiny and hard to read. The "Did it" button is very slim and hard to hit during intensive workout. Just make those 3 vital areas 2x higher and this would be a 5* app. I would probably become a paying customer because exercise selection is broad and the plans look interesting.
Is good but a few things to consider: - when doing a workout you should more workouts without have to exit the workout - there's a glitch where you do set amount of reps and when you finish it it seems to have more reps which I've been re-editing it. It's irritating. - there should be a stretch workouts for new people like myself that should be added when working out. - video examples are great but some workout angles are at places hard to see. But a four shouldn't be a frown. It takes effort.
Tried a bunch of excercise apps for working out at home. Upsides: Good quality video guides. Since good form is necessary to prevent injury, this was a good feature. Creates a plan customized to how you answered the initial questions. Editing is possible but only if you pay. Downsides: While can choose exercises based on body part, can't filter any further (e.g. by equipment) Maybe another app has spoilt me for choice but fewer exercises in its directory. Most of the good features are paid.
Garbage. It deleted by it self all my planned workouts. Edited to two stars. This rest alarm bug is getting more an more annoying. I set the rest alarm for two minutes, I mark a set as complete, the counter clock starts and the alarm will only sound when I return to the app. So what's the alarm for? Sometimes the alarm sounds after 5 ou 6 minutes in rest time, even if I set it two 1 or 2 minutes.
I paid for the full version to give it a long go. It's okay. But, its planned workouts are repetitive, 16 workouts exactly the same really makes gym time boring. Previous app (Fitnessbuilder) kept changing up exercises for variety in a plan. There's no easy easy to see what you did the last few exercises to see if you're making progress. There's no easy to take notes on an exercise ; sometimes you do poorly and want to add context, sometimes you're at a hotel gym and have to adjust weights.
Great app to workout at home. It provides a custom made exercises for you based on certain inputs or you can create your own workout schedule. You can put interval times as well. Only one problem seen is that the app does not allow to copy the exercise (with reps and weight details) while creating your own workout plan. Otherwise the app is great.
I like this app because its simply doesn't cost anything. Thats the main thing. Big benefit is that you can actually click "play" button to see how you need to exercise. Next good thing is that you simply can choose that day in gym what you want to train on a little picture of human body, you turn body 180' degrees so can see from the back what muscles you could train. It very simple and with short description how to. I would say its best for begginers. Wish update with more exercises!
Great examples and good looking UI. Really odd issues with Pixel 2. It's constantly changing my reps and I think its because its detecting input that's not occuring. Thought it could be user error, but I'm certain its adding rep amounts randomly. Looks like it's issues with quick input or +2/+5 options. Other then that it's a quality app.
I have the premium version of the app and i have to say that its one of the best workout apps I've used. Its very intuitive and highly customisable. You can add your own workout or follow the presets made by the developer. I still have to try the personal trainer feature and see how the results are like. All in all, a great app!
I love this app so much, because it gives me a variety of workouts that I would of never though of. Plus it gives me a visual demonstration on how to do the workout. I now don't have to spend $99/month on a trainer (or more) when I can pay a one time fee on this apps and get an unlimited amount of workouts and meal plan options I need. You can do it all yourself here.
Recently been using this app, seems great so far very user friendly but please create an option to delete an unfinished workout! You get 16 workouts before they refresh the exercises for the next 16 but I've found sometimes due to bad Internet connection or if you want to save what you've done so far in a workout and exit the app it will complete it and you can't go back into that same session to finish it. I've done this by mistake a few times which is going to mess up my routine.
