This app is meant to help those in Gymnastics do there Stretches with out the need to keep look at the clock just pick the preset second intervals 30sec, 45sec, 60sec, 90sec, 120sec, 180sec and the alarm will sound when the time has passed.This make it easier for you to focus on the stretch so you can get the most out of it and the best part is that this app is FREE!!----Static Stretching for Flexibility:
Static flexibility stretching is when a gymnast holds a stretching position for a certain period of time. An example of a static stretch is sitting in the splits. There are three types of splits that a gymnast must be able to perform. They are the right leg forward splits, left leg forward splits, and middle, also known as straddle splits. As a gymnast advances from level to level, gymnasts can extend their splits past a flat level, which requires even greater flexibility.

Dynamic Stretching for Flexibility:

Dynamic flexibility stretching is when a gymnast utilizes swinging movements of the arms and legs to increase flexibility and improve their range of motion. Examples of dynamic flexibility stretching are split kicks, leading splits, and scales. When a gymnast puts on the Myosource Lower Body Kinetic Bands, they allow dynamic flexibility moves and skills to be performed by adding resistance to build strength while increasing flexibility. The bands do not restrict movements and are hands free for performing gymnastics tumbling skills and flexibility moves.

Acrobat and tumbling skills in gymnastics require shoulder and arm flexibility. If a gymnastโ€™s shoulders are not flexible enough to rotate and roll it will be impossible to tumble with any explosiveness or proper technique to score high. Gymnasts must also remember that flexibility on both sides of the body must be trained to become equally flexible to perform gymnastic event routines explosively.

Prefect for daily stretching. I like that the screen stays on the entire time I'm using this app. Also like that I can use any of my phone sounds. Sometimes I wish it had a longer time setting.

Great for timing stretches. Very straight forward. Also, it doesn't ask for all your personal information and stored pictures like some apps do. One aap even wanted to have access to my microphone and all network devices. This does the job flawlessly without needing to grant permissions.

It is basically a gymnastics timer and that is all. It should make noise to tell you when u r done. Great gymnastics motivator to tell you to keep going. Doesn't have to be used for splits. I like it and recommend it for anybody and everybody.
