I just need the gym for an hour and it can be any venue and this app does the job for me so i am quite happy with it. Even tho sometime the venue's staff get annoyed because they have to let me in manually as i don't have the code or key for any venue. That's not a nice experience but apart from that it's good.
You get the equivalent of a guess pass so you don't get amenities like towels or anything. The gympass always says its one day from expiring until it finally expires a few times every month. Gympass expires more often then being active. You then have to email gympass and they will blames the gym and the gym blames gympass. The only way to workout is to get a regular gym membership. It been over a month and I have only gotten a email saying a rep will reach out but nothing so far. Negative stars
This application is not ready for production. I tried to select a plan to start paying for the app for more than 20 minutes on web, mobile and in different devices, and I couldn't figure it out how it works. Is slow and the overall user experience is very bad (such as the loading pages, filter features and so on). I really tried to start my fitness goals this year with you guys but this just doesn't work.
Not a rating of the app but the service/product itself. Dreadful. Awful customer service. Tried to cancel but did not go through, so still charged multiple months. Managed to pause plan but was then charged again, even though I also have "credit" on the account that was told would be used first. Cannot cancel plan whilst on pause so I will undoubtably charged again. Do not use this service!!!
Cannot login using "login with Uber". Every time it pops up a message to "Try again" and nothing more. Not really helpful error message isn't it (devs). Can login only using a browser. Please fix. Thanks.
Perfect to my routine. Easy to use and a variety of options to work out and take care of healthy.
Terrible, app never works, customer support is only email and response and service is extremely slow.
Need some improvements: 1) No new gyms included during lat year 2) some of existing gyms are "upgraded", it means that you have to switch to more expensive plan vs current. 3) weak feedback - no notifications that gyms were shifted to upper grade, no notification of newly added gyms.
Not very user friendly I tried to see what gyms were available in my area and there are none .I tried to contact customer service on the app and they couldn't deal with me as I live in Ireland ? Even on the highest paying monthly plan there isn't 1 gym within walking distance listed for that plan 🤦♀️
This app still proven useless. The only options that it allows is to manage your own plan and changing payment. Can't make any changes changes for dependent and there is no option to compare actual list of gym names available per tier level as opposed to just the number of gyms available. Also, why does it requires to checkin before I can enter the gym. Isn't it a privacy invasion here?
The app is awesome and etc. I would like to leave a review to customer experience team. I been a client of gympsss for the past 4-5 months but I never did a check-in at any gym. Why gympsss never send me a email or a simple push notification, a gym recomendation or anything to make me notice the service? I sure that if I cancel my plan I will receive a lot of emails or notifications.
I signed up for a plan on Friday. On Tuesday I was not able to check into the gym. The gym was moved to a different tier. No warning before purchase or before change. Gympass does not have to honor their rate for any amount of time. Be aware when you sign up.
App didn't work throughout my week trial so I decided to join up anyway..payment wasn't going through so I cancelled that as well. 3 hours later money was taken from my account. I went on the app sent a message and received 2 replies. The second saying my query had been resolved and thanking me for using the app. Not the case nothing has been resolved I would like a full refund as i have now joined my local gym. This is the same gym I used 4 times with your app unsuccessfully. "4921669 - ref.
To be clear, gympass is an amazing employee perk. However, like others, I think the app itself has a horrible UI. I'm giving them a star back because at least they added your favorites to the main screen. One of the most frustrating issues is, for some studios, when I book a class, it sends me an email that it's booked, but it doesn't show up in "my bookings" or on Mindbody. Personally, I just wish I could use the Mindbody app and have Gympass there as a "payment method."
Great service, horrendous app. It constantly logs you out, seemingly takes 40 clicks to get to whatever it is you're looking for at the time, and the search defaults to NYC all the time (I am in nowhere near New York). The most annoying thing is that when I trying to search, it keeps asking me for me email even though I am logged in. It's a shame, because the concept is great.
The idea is very good, but the app is not that good! It is slow and buggy! Checking in at the gym should take seconds and just a few clicks, but it's taking too long, it's not good experience if you are at the gym's entrance waiting for the app to load for minutes. Also, please fix the notifications. Even if mark that I don't want any notification, I'm still receiving a lot of them thru the day. Again, I still like the idea, but I cannot recommend this app in the current state.
Not user friendly, even when trying to subscribe to one of the plans it just redirects you to a list with all the different tiers and prices but they have no buttons to be selected, just a link that supposedly takes you to the includes gyms or activities in each plan but even that doesn't work, the only way to do it is through a web page on a laptop or desktop computer because when you want to pay it just adds the package to your shopping cart and you have to find it by yourself. Fix it please.
The Gympass app, website, and customer service are all so terrible. The concept is great but the amount of issues I've encountered in the short span of time I've tried to use is it ridiculous. Besides all of the issues with the map, filters, slow interface, managing your account is next to impossible. You can't change payment method, you can't manage dependents, you can't view payment history, you cant do anything. If you want to get ahold of customer service, lol good luck. 0/10
The app is incredibly slow and not streamlined for user experience. The offer of gyms and activities is very good, that's why i continue to use it. Specifically: When looking for classes, it always tries to load gyms nearest to you. This takes forever and is typically not what I want. Searching brings suggestions from the whole world, including other continents. Most gyms don't have their schedules integrated with the app. When looking for activities you miss most gyms. This is never mentioned.
The UI of this app is TERRIBLE. How can it be a good idea to change what "Search" means? If I click Search, I want to search, not have you provide some random list of results. The general user experience is absolutely nonsensical - do you even understand what your users are trying to do with your app? And load times are inexcusable, even with cached results. The service behind the app is great, this app is hot trash.
Other than the clean look, this app is terrible. The filters do not work. I have to scroll through for soooo long to get to my evening classes. When I contacted support, they responded with "our other filters work". They also show unavailable classes. ClassPass is so much better. The only reasoned I joined is because of the corporate discount. Please fix your app becuase I'm not sure how long I want to stay with you guys because of this.
The app is unbelievably slow. Waiting a minute to be able to choose search option from historic searches is ridiculous. Another very frustrating feature is that if you are scrolling down through the list of gyms, you cannot scroll back up as it reloads the page rather than allowing you to go up in the list. Less frustrating but still inconvenient is fact that I am not able to filter gyms which are accessible through my plan and have to go through the full list.
The app might not be the most intuitive to use but does the job and never failed (yet). EDIT: you must use the app to book live classes, although I could argue the phone isn't ideal to follow the class. It's not easy to check what classes you booked (not that it really matters as I never managed to see one happening!)or to create a reminder if not done at confirmation time. The reminders sometimes have a link to the live class but not always. It's all a little cranky!
Rushed and poor design. Poor communication and shady tier structure. The help center takes you to a poorly developed messaging page, not native to the app. The keyboard will cover your text while typing. In addition, the tier structure will change without notice, stripping your gyms from you plan and requiring you to pay double or more to continue attending them. Having to do a double check in to go to a gym is quite annoying as well.
