H&R Block Tax Prep

I have used hr block to file my taxes for a few years. i usually just download the returns and have never have printed them out until this year. Well the free version WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO PRINT ALL THE PAGES!!!! It will only print the first 2 but if you switch settings to print 2 pages on one sheet then it will print 4. I made sure it was not my printer and then to double check I printed another file with the same extension and that one printed fine

Edit: I returned to the app to find that even though I got a notification that I'd done everything I needed to, that my taxes had been rejected. Thankfully I looked! So I took some stars off for that. Fine experience, though I haven't had to deal with talking to an agent, which it seems like others are struggling with. As for inputting info, it did its job.

The app is okay at best, and if you need to contact customer service for anything forget it. I spent hours waiting on hold, being transferred around in circles, and then disconnected, or hung up on. I went through this 3 times, and finally got my 1 question answered. Filing taxes is frustrating enough without the added frustration trying to get a simple question answered.

Terrible. Anytime I was hit save and click on anything else, all my information was erased and it wouldn't let me log back in. It would always say "user not found", so I would have to create a new account and it would let me even though I already had an account with the same email and everything. Didn't make sense. But even when I did create a new account, saved my information and everything, it would erase everything and make me start everything over again and never saved any of my information

I purchased the deluxe package for $89 and my taxes were sent in with a $1,494 mistake. It has been 41 days and still no refund. I paid for this package so a tax pro could make sure no mistakes were made even though the software should have been foolproof. Needless to say, I'm still paying for a service I never received and waiting longer than most to receive my taxes. Waiting on my refund wouldn't be such a problem if I wasn't having to pay for services I never got.

Needed to find a new tax app after another one refuses to let me into my account so I tried this one. Overall easy experience only part that was annoying was anytime I would leave the app for a few seconds to get my banking information I would have to re-login which was a minor inconvenience. In the end I overall would recommend.

This app was really easy to use. Just make sure you have your information ready to enter,like your tax return from last year so you can have the numbers ready to enter,your drivers license #etc. I was actuly surprised how easy this was. My wife and i file easy taxes we dont have investments or extremely amounts of money to claim,so this app was real quick and easy to use. (((2022 Update))) After updating i love the app even more!!! They made it more user friendly and convenient to use!!!

What an arduous process in a buggy app. It froze three times, forcing me to start over again and again. Photo recognition of w2 was unusable. I'll never wait til the last minute to do my taxes again, if only to avoid having to use this app

Makes it about as simple and enjoyable as doing your taxes CAN be... I have zero complaints about the app, and had only 1 minor issue with the import W2 process. For some reason uploading the PDF file I had filled some state tax related amounts in as "NC" instead of the numbers? But importing direct from the employer number worked correctly.

Keeps saying requires an update, already updated can't open and all I need to add are my 1099s to complete. Bad experience very bad experience. I don't understand why auto update almost never works like it did on my windowsphone. I seem to always have to update manually in playstore. .

Dropped this from 4 star to 2 star. I received a text reminding me to pay what I owed?? I set up my payment on your app using my banking information. Now I am worried it won't be paid. Why did I receive that message? I have used your product for 8 years and not again. It was expensive and now I have to worry that you didn't do my direct pay.

Super easy. Just snap a pic of your W-2 and answer a bunch of questions about deductions and credits and you're done. Could use a bit of standardization across the pages when it comes to navigation buttons. Some pages have navigation buttons for next and back, other pages just move forward once you select your answer.

The app worked fine in every way except I could only use it in landscape mode, which made everything harder when I had to type and actually see what I was typing. Also it made me pay to see if I qualified for a certain type of deduction or else it said I wasn't finished. I don't think I even qualified. I feel scammed.

I've used this app for years to do my taxes. Fast, easy, free and keeps your info/documents stored for you for as long as you want. I had to randomly pull old returns up once for legal/financial reasons and they had everything there, had to pay a small fee for ones over 2 years old but it was the only place I could get them thankfully!

Update not recognized. Updated to newest version, then tried to open app and says it must update. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled with the same results. I'd prefer using my phone app, appears I'm forced to use the web version.

I couldn't get the AGI, even though HRB did my taxes last year, had to go to the office to get it. Also accidentally hit the plus version tab...for the different products, ask me at the start!! But it was easy,fast (except for the AGI thing) & hopefully accurate. I would recommend, but only for FEDERAL. I'm using form 1040 next year for FREE!

Iv now tried to use the app for two different years and both times, the app has screwed me over. The app never sent my return last year and this year its doing the same thing. I completed everything and even took screenshots of the receipt and it saying All done! But upon signing back in to check the status, it says "ready to file". I had extra options selected and you would have made some money from it. Ill be filing a different way since the app shows not filed and if it double files, ill sue.

App is frustating. First it wouldn't let me sign in so i tried to reset my password. It would send me a verification code to my email and once i entered it, would tell that it didn't recognize it. And no i didn't entet it wrong i copied and pasted. So i tried to get it to resend code and it would send the same one. Then locked me out. When i was finally able to get in it took forever for it to load.

Very user friendly. Answers all of your questions and you can pay for the service from you refund. Many different price ranges depending what you're looking for. You can start working on your taxes, log out, and then resume where you left off. I love that my info is saved from last year. It saves time filing and the hassle of looking up information. I feel comfortable the app is secure and it's nice to be able to access the information from my past returns right from my phone.

Frustrating. Sneaks in fees wherever they can and made impossible to understand how to file for free. Also boxes which I did not understand what to enter in did not have explanations or help. I hate how they allow you to spend all the tome of inputing information and then hit you with a surprise charge at the end. Just a sleezy way to trap people into paying and taking advantage of poeple's lack of knowlege and confusion.

This app is completely unusable. I've used it in the past and complete my taxes in less than 10 minutes. Now anytime you click "Next" it take 3 minutes to get to next page

First time I've processed my taxes by myself so it was time consuming. The app is extremely easy to use though. Each section has a spot to click on to clarify what they're asking for.

Same thing again this year. Saver credit that was not needed. I have looked into it lawfully and savers credit is not necessary. The only reason they force you to get the savers credit is so that they can force the delux package on you. And then stated state returns would be free and charged me 36$ for that. Then i get charged 39$ just to have it direct deposit. In total a free edition came out to over 100$. Will not use again. No response needed.

I have no problem paying a small amount for filing my taxes. But having to pay $100+ is ridiculous. I've used H&R for years but this will be my last. Your price gouging has lost you a customer. I will say the app worked much smoother than last year.

First wanted to file with credit karma for free, but they sold out to the shady cash app company that too many people report fraud about. So, then tried the turbo tax app which kept freezing up, losing my data, and giving blank screens, ugh! Finally, downloaded and tried H&R Block tax app, and every step from start to finish went smoothly and reliably. Yes, it costs a fee. But, it's not shady and it was super easy. Thanks, H&R Block!

Keeps saying it doesn't support this version but there is no update. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and same message. So app doesn't even work. Shame because I have used this app for years and had previously given a 5 star review.

Worst experience! Paid for the tax pro review. Gave an estimate of about 5 days. Didn't hear from anyone after 2 weeks. Called customer service and the line was unavailable, as if it was down. Finally got in touch with someone and they were able to pull my profile and would leave a message for my tax pro. Next day she calls and says she can't find my profile. Wasted $50 and 2 weeks when I could have used another software and possibly had my return back already. 100% not satisfied.

The app was easy to use and finish my taxes, but when I needed help from the agent they were worthless. Had 1 problem to fix on my taxes and they had no idea how to get it done. But using the app I was able to find and fix the problem myself.
