Links from front page to articles do NOT work, also links from article to article! Updated several times to latest version and bug hasn't been fixed!
It was written it's free, then you had to subscribe with payment!
I have to relaunch the article I was reading, every time switch to another app for a second. (Not when I close the app, but when I switch to another app for a quick look at something...)
Can't read anything except titles. What kind of free news app is this if I can't read more than the title...
I am unable to get into the articles. It is blocked by commercials. This is very dissatisfieing. Haaretz should really try to correct this problem. I still have the same problem with the app haaretz English edition no change has come about. only now I'm seeing a charge is trying to be forced on me.
There used to be free articles on the app when i installed it intake a few years back. Now it's 100% paid content. At least i couldn't find a single article that i can access without subscription. So yes, I'm disappointed.
App is OK. Three stars because of annoying ads after the splash screen
This is on believable! Usually when you read news online you don't have to pay for that but with this one every little thing they give you the headlines and if you want to read about have to pay for it all device go jump in the Lake so I decided it's not worth it.
Swindled - Haaretz won't honor its receipt. I attempted to subscribe with some promotion. Removed my credit card because they auto-renew without giving a warning. Email receipt said my subscription was valid until October 2020. Five months later, trying to get info on elections, my sub is expired and Haaretz support refuses to honor the receipt they sent to me. 5 star journalists deserve better administration staff.
I concur with Andre Payant. I faced the same error while registering myself with Haaretz! Ami Pressler is correct in saying that this app is not free. It does not allow the user to read any article. Notifications from the app itself are DELIBERATELY hindering the reading. I hate this app even though I am a staunch pro-Israel Christian Believer. Uninstalling the app. Woe to Haaretz!
i was given such a runaround on 2-3 attempts at registering, login on, etc. that i am now giving up, and urge you to do the same if given the same treatment after more than 2 tries. Too bad, such a great n-paper!
UPDATED REVIEW.The Google adds that keep apearing on the Haaretz site are too intrusive and you cannot turn them off.Why is google allowed to do this ?Does Haaretz gice them permission,im spending well over £100 a year and i dont want google adverts clogging up the Haaretz app which is Brilliant in nearly every other way(exept registering)xan Haaretz tell us more avout this please ??
Would not have even given it one star.I paid for a subscription THEN it asks you to sign up or log in but says (always)try again later.I cant getvoff that page and i cant get the news.Emails to staff ??????Probably better off elsewhere until they sort out these issues.Over a £100 and nothing ??come on !
Kinda misleading that you advertise the app as free and then charge to see the articles. The coverage itself is fine, but please advertise the app as it is.
It's only for subscribes. 100% of the articles are blocked for non-subscribes. Usuless app! I regret every MB of mobile data used to download it. Uninstalling it now.
Why make an app if you don't let anyone use it by blocking with subscription notifications . People can read headlines elsewhere. Who needs useless apps to take up space?
This is supposed to be a leftist newspaper, right? And you charge 10€ per month? In the case where there are plenty of free sources? Thank you very much for supporting left spirit!

Once you pay as a subscriber, ads that prevent the app from opening with a countdown timer shouldn't happen anymore.
App is great. I love keeping up with Israeli news. I'd highly recommend subscribing to Haaretz and using this app.
Keeps displaying constant annoying notifications even when I have disabled notifications.

I don't mind paying the subscription but a least give a free trial to see first.
It won't allow articles to be read without a subscription. It should say that in the Play Store.
Over the last two weeks the service has been apalling. The app closes down after every single download. You have to reopen it repeatedly every few minutes. And this is shortly after a rise in the subscription price!!!! Whats going on????
