Half-Life 2: Episode One

The game keeps crashing on the Urban Flight chapter when it is trying to load the next area. This is happening on the Nvidia Shield Tablet K1.

After playing HalfLife2 part 2 which I found a great game, I wanted to try also part 1. The game is unplayable as it keeps crashing every minute. It is really sad that the developers and the OS team could not provide quality work for the final user. Please refund me the game as I can't use it at all. Thank you.

Game is fantastic, but one star because of terrible support from Nvidia. I have found a bug where some achievements did not unlock despite comleting the requirements for it to unlock. I was able to reproduce the bug on both the ST and SATV. I have contacted Nvidia and they replied on 06/20/2017 (!!!) that they were also able to reproduce (!) this issue in house with EP1 and also EP2 and the team has started working on an update. I have waited patiently for an update because I like clearing all achievement while I complete the game. But enough is enough! I am sick of the lazy and lying Nvidia Light speed Studios! Almost 1 year has passed and still no fix for a major issue like this! I guess support ended after my credit card was billed...

It's great overall. However, at the end of the part where I have to get survivors to the train, the game won't continue and just stay on 'Loading' after Alyx closes the door. Clearing cache, data, and starting a new game didn't solve the problem. Please fix. Shield Tablet Nougat update 5.1

Runs a little choppy on the Shield tablet. Maybe its better on the SHIELD tv

Ignored that the tablet was on wireless, and downloaded the files via the cellular network.

Decent port. My only real complaint is its length. Still waiting for Episode 2.

It allows the files to be moved to an SD however files seem to be erased after doing so and have to be reinstalled, not my device because HL2 and other games transfer fine.

I'm sick and tired of these greedy developers. Why doesn't this work on the original shield portable? Don't tell me its hardware! HL2 runs on it why can't this. Im sick of these shady practices. Great game deserves a 5 but I'm giving a 1 for developer.

Looks beautiful but gave me a headache. I'm running a shield tablet and still it lags anytime there's any action.

Install both HL2 and this. Neither launch. Latest shield software. Please help! Will update review when fixed.

This whole series is one of the best games ever. Yet on my tablet, it lags pretty badly. Also, this price should be for episode 1 & 2 since they are the same size combined as Half life 2.

The only thing it needs to be complete now is episode 2. Oh, and Half Life 3. 😉

Can't move the "data" to SD card so it takes up a ton of space. Other than that great port of a great game

This game is great. I'm still playing these games since the original. Just wish they would put the original Half-Life on too, I know this tablet is more than capable

Excellent port of a 1st class game. Would recommend to first person shooter fans who have a Nvidia shield Tablet but only if you have 32Gb model. This game won't load if you transfer to a SD card. Takes 2.80Gb of internal storage.Will give 5 stars when game will load from SD card.

this thing lags like crazy on my shield tablet. it needs to also be available for the shield handheld.
