The UX has loads of really obvious bugs. - I can't seem to review my past runs, distances etc. - I have to scroll to find the next run? Seems like an unnecessarily annoying design in general. - when I leave the app during a run to open spotify, I reopen the app and it reloads the whole thing and pauses my music. - When I tap 'send feedback' it's deeplink opens my WhatsApp offering me to send the app to a friend (?!) Which is the opposite of giving get feedback - I regret paying for this app.
Wish you could customize beeps... I don't like words, so beeps work well but when you lose count of what run you're on (which is what I want to do) when the cooldown hits I start running again instead of stopping. I have to keep checking the phone. Wish this was on 5k and 10k too. It would be better if it was at least a double beep.
Great app, training is simple, clear and easy to follow.
There is no login and app glitches CONSTANTLY. I pay for Zenmusic and it never works and crashes the app despite many emails to support and attempts to fix it. Also, I have be instructed to uninstall and reinstall app, update app, etc to try to correct issues, which deletes ALL progress. Honestly, this app is beyond disappointing and not worth the $5 to download. Just invest in a timer because that is the only function that actually works properly within the app.
I had previously bought this app while training for a half marathon. Now I am starting a new training program and it says I have to buy in on it again. No thanks!
I downloaded this app based on recommendations online, and went for a subscription for the music etc. Unfortunalty the app keeps stopping after a min or so of music. Don't know why messed around with all my settings and couldn't work it out. Very frustrating so I have now deleted it.
I bought this app and loved it, but earlier this year I upgraded to a new phone and now it wants me to pay a subscription fee to fully access the app I already paid for. I saw other users had this same problem, so I emailed support 3 or 4 times to get it resolved. They never replied to me. Really disappointing.
Bait and switch! I purchased this app last year, and used it for months with no problem. Now, all of a sudden, I can't get past week 2 without paying more. Don't fall for the scam. There are plenty of legitimate training apps out there. Off to find a new favorite now.
C25K and 10k changed my life. I wanted to continue with this app, however this is a subscription service not a one time purchase. I was very happy to purchase the add free versions of the previous two apps, but i feel uncomfortable about this recuring subscription model.
Do not buy this app. I purchased it on one phone, when I bought a new phone, lost access to the app. Once purchased, as on the developers website FAQ page, I will have access to the full app regardless of whether it is installed, deleted, and reinstalled. Contacted the developer as well as Googleplay and have gotten nothing. There are other half trainers I'm going to go with instead. It's a shame because I really love the C25k and 10k trainer by this developer.
I upgraded this to pro, and then got a new phone and the upgrade didn't transfer. So I need to pay another £50 to get the same app I own on old phone. They also changed to a subscription model which seems like is unnecessary.
Previously paid this the app but now they want to charge subscription? I completed this worked out successfully in 2018 and completed my first HM. So used it again to train for another HM event and have recommended a few of the zen lab apps to my clients. Decided to use it again as a way to recover from an injury to get back to running again, just reinstalled it... now you can only complete the first week then have to upgrade? What happened, I've bought it already? Not cool zen labs. Unistalled!
Runners beware. I did the c25k then 10k, then without reading the reviews downloaded this and started "training" for a half marathon. I assumed it would progress to actually get me to be able to run a half marathon. I'm now 5 weeks in and my endurance is completely diminished. I'll have to start over again with a 10k app and then move on to half marathon again (using an app that is NOT this one). I understand the concept of intervals, but I can feel my endurance and fitness diminishing. So sad.
Workouts are great. Music feature is poor. Always starts a the beginning of a playlist so it's the same songs over and over.
I purchased the Half marathon trainer app on my Google Play account when I had Samsung Galaxy S9. I upgraded to S10 and now the app doesn't realize that I paid already. Update. 8/20/2020: Grace has responded to my emails twice, but her suggestion for a fix still does not work. Update 8/30/2020: There was no additional communication from Zenlabs Fitness, but I decided to check the app anyway and I finally have full access again. I enjoy the program, but I have no race in sight.
This app helps keep me on target and keeps me improving
I purchased this app in 2019 as part of a bundle. When I went to open it recently the app only allowed me to have access to week 1 of the training. I have emailed them and haven't heard anything. It would be great if someone explained why I have to purchase an app I have already bought.
My sub apparently doesn't transfer to my new phone. This used to be such a great program. I don't understand the changes (i.e., more $$$$). Uninstalling.
My music wont play within the app. It shows on the screen like its playing, but it doesn't. I had to go out of the app to start my music.
I can't just buy one app ONCE. You have to subscribe to all their apps and will be charged monthly. Totally not worth it
I purchased this app a while back. I had to change phones and when I began using the app again this week I only got finished with week one then got a prompt to upgrade. I paid money for 13.1 so why can't I use what I paid for. I am not interested in upgrading again. How will this be resolved?
Do not download. I had purchased and finished the workouts in another phone. After upgrading to a I reinstalled and started over, finished the first week and now I'm being told I need a subscription.
The app keeps closing during my run. It's happened 5 times now, and changing multiple settings and re-installing doesn't help :(
I really loved this app until I had to pay for monthly subscription. I could understand paying for a one time fee, but not monthly.
The first time I used this app it was great (probably a year and a half ago). Now, I tried to get back running again and it wants me to pay for a subscription. Even though I'd already paid for the app. Don't do it. Find another half marathon trainer.
Loved the app and used it for my first half marathon, but now that I got a new phone, they want to charge me a subscription fee after I purchased the app almost 2 years ago. Very disappointed. UPDATE: I emailed them to get this resolved as they recommended, and I did hear back right away. They were very kind and helpful are working to get this resolved. Will update again when resolved. UPDATE #2: Back to 5 stars. They sent me a code so that I could see every workout again! 😊
