No too impressed. Spent the first three weeks loving the app it really got me motivated. But then it stopped working correctly, the voice over stopped during runs and I'd finish a run to find the programme had stopped at some point. I'd paid for full version and despite contacting support (who did offer a redemption code) I've been unable to redeem the code and get access to the app.
Love the programming.. does freeze occasionally. Only other thing is the pause button is near the home button on my screen.. so if I want to change music, it often pauses me instead of going to home screen. Otherwise I love it.
Personally I think it is a waste of money, it only gives a programme of to improve your running but nothing about speed. I also use a treadmill for running and it is not possible to enter the distance manually. For the possibilities the app has I find it very expensive.
Unfortunately there are so many issues with this app. Firstly the app doesn't map your runs. I have ran 6 times now and only one of my runs was recirded- way off in comparison to Strava but hey, secondly it keeps glitches, every time I open the app it suggests that I should purchase the full version. Well I have the full version but this does not kick in before I close and reopen the app. It is severely annoying. And thirdly the timers are way off. And not by seconds but by a few minutes!
I agree with the review by Angela Watson. Something is really wrong with this app and the notifications. After 5 mins it's supposed to tell you to run, but sometimes it won't tell me to start my run until I unlock the screen to check out what's up. Today I went on a run that was meant to be 105 mins total and it didn't ever tell me I had reached the halfway point. This is a real issue and I ended up having to walk 2 miles home because the app never prompted me to turn around. A real problem.
App used to work great but lately seems to have troubles with the timers. The 5 minute warm-up switches to negative over an hour. Notifications only sound when the phone is unlocked. GPS rarely shows any distance traveled. Please make this app good again.
Great running setups for various goals. The GPS tracker isn't the best and it's easy to accidentally hit the back or forward button.
Intermittent. This app kinda works in that it times my runs but gps stops halfway or it shows on the map but says I've done .75km of a +10k. And yes all access to gps has been set it worked for 2 weeks then reverted. Also have paid for pro version but every few weeks it resets and only gives me the first bit of free weeks. Not very impressed but great when it works!
Pretty good training BUT... quite often on the interval training sometimes it misses out an audio cue for when to start walking/running. For example, sometimes I get two "start running" prompts in a row with no "walking" prompt in between.
I just started using this app. I used it once for the first day training on a treadmill with my phone charging to the side so no measurable distance. I have used this for 3 runs. I paid for the upgrade. I am going to make sure this app doesn't auto renew and uninstall it.
Great for helping to maintain consistency in training. Option to progress faster or slower available as well as modify start points. I travel 4d/week every week so it's a great buddy to take on the road with treadmill or outdoors.
I like it so far, but really needs more voice overs throughout the run, such as at 10 min, 5 min, and 1 min remaining. This would really help me by preventing me from needing to check my watch. Tells me when I can pick it up, and when I can relax a bit.
Really nice looking interface that is easy to use. Works well with gps. Voice is easy to hear so I don't have to hold my phone to look at it. Really useful in helping me plan my training runs
I used it once simulteanously with more consistent apps and the result is below average. The GPS is so inaccurate and there is no useful options. My advice: use it for fun only. It is not a pro app.
Pretty good. Like the lock feature. But if you use your camera it tends to halt app. Also sometimes the voice prompts cut across beep which means you miss the signal to run/walk
Good training plan but crashes when trying to share workout. Also keeps losing paid licence and revertING to trial version for no apparent reason. Lost workout data as a result.
I really like the 10K app and that's why I bought the 21k app. Both lack proper GPS syncing to accurately capture mileage. I run map my run in tandem to get my true distance.
Gps doesn't work. It incorrectly jumps across the river and back making it seem I have run more than I have and throwing out my times per km. Suggested training schedule is good though so i use if tor that.
The timing on the app is not good. You start with a 5 min walk but the prompt to tell you to run is sometimes 9 mins. It tells you that you're half way when you've nearly finished.
Love all the Fitness22 apps. Trained for my ery first half marathon with runtracker and did a time of 2hrs12minutes. I must say that I was a guide for a blind person also, so I could have done it in 2hrs if I was running solo! Best App!
I really enjoy using this Half Marathon Training app. It's very helpful and worth the in app purchase. I recently completed their Couch to 5K program and am very excited to complete this one. Good luck to everyone on their health and fitness journey. ❤🙏
If you use audio cues for your runs, then this app will selectively forget to tell you to walk (or run, depending on what you were doing) in lieu of telling you that you are at the halfway point of your workout. In other words, about 20% of my workouts are not programmed correctly with the audio cues, by default. I found the setting to fix this issue, by turning off the "halfway point" announcement in settings, but that should be default, or the app should give all directions with announcement.
