In March of 2021 I installed this app. It had very frustrating playback errors. Other reviewers had the same problems. I gave up and uninstalled. Reinstalled the app 3/14/22 to give it another chance. I am happy to report that I was able to watch the latest episode of When Calls the Heart without issue. So much better than my experience a year ago.

The app doesn't even work. All I get it's temporarily the categories and then it turns into a black, white screen. If I try to watch one of the Hallmark channels that I get through my TV provider I get an error. This app has been terrible for a long time and now it doesn't even work.

Refuses to be usable. All screens in app go blank, once the categories list scrolls by at high speed. I have the Hallmark channel as part of my Spectrum TV package but this app has only worked properly twice in the year I've had it installed. Moving on and deleting this apparently abandoned app.

App not working on my phone or tablet at all. It wasn't working on my fire tv stick and after 6 weeks of trying, deleting it, installing it over and over again, deleting the cache countless times, it randomly starting working again. Now to get it working on my phone and tablet.

This app works on my android phone fine but stopped loading movies on my Amazon fire TV months ago and I've tried everything to fix it without any success. It worked fine before that and nothing in my settings has changed so it has to be something with an app update. Please someone fix this! Right now I can only watch live TV, if I try to load a movie I just see a black screen when I hit Play.

I used to be able to watch movies from the Hallmark tv app. I can not get any movie to start. It automatically says opps. I can see that this has been a problem for a long time by the reviews I am seeing. Either you can not fix it or you do not care. This is not a way to keep your customers. I am really disappointed! I gave it a one star, but it doesn't even deserve that.

It's great that you have a pic of the movie, but without text underneath it, it is often near impossible to tell what the title of the movie is. The search doesn't help either, as it only looks for shows with any of the words being searched on, instead of the exact show. Makes things really difficult to find anything. Pretty much useless.

Constantly cuts out in the middle of a movie or show; goes back to home screen/menu. Then, when trying to continue watching a selection, it cuts to the numerous commercials, then back to home. I gave up and stopped watching. Terrible app. The worst. Will stick to Netflix where I can watch uninterrupted!

App works one day and then doesn't work next day. Says I am signed in but everything is locked and cannot be accessed. Deleted reinstalled and signed in again and still doesn't work. Next day it may work just fine. Waste of time trying to get it to work. Disappointing when you want to watch something and can't.

I Love Hallmark! However, this app is very unstable. If you are going to show commercials, then you need to have the app working properly. It constantly stops while watching a movie. When restarting the movie it forces you to watch the same commercials over and over again. After trying several times, I gave up on the movies. I don't mind commercials if this worked as intended.

The first few weeks it worked well. Some freezing and pixels when it picked back up but it cleared up pretty quick. Recently I have not been able to use it because when I open the app it doesn't load any of the movies or shows. A whole white screen. I try refreshing but nothing changes. Very disappointing because I enjoy watching the movies especially with the Christmas movies coming out.

I like the app except for one HUGE problem. There is no way to jump sections of somethin you're watching. I understand they don't want us to fast forward & skip commercials. But, if you're viewing something & get interrupted, when you come back, the program starts again AT THE BEGINNING. There's no way to jump to where you stopped & continue. Starting over each time is NOT acceptable. I end up never finishing my programs. Very disappointing! This needs to be fixed.

I can not pause the movie. Everytime I do it starts back at the beginning. Sometimes the ads get stuck on a loop and when it finally gets them to move on it starts back at the beginning. Sometimes the ads will glitch and play only the audio from 1, well another is going then it starts the movie back at the beginning. I have had this for 2 months and have managed to get through only 2 movies. I have small children so being able to stop when I need to is important . Very disappointing.

I like the content and the ability to play the channels live. However, sometimes the movie is still playing in the background when the commercials are playing. Then when I try to restart the movie it restarts from the beginning. Very annoying!! Please fix! It would also be nice if it would remember where you left off in a movie. I hate getting a movie interrupted near the end and then having to restart from the beginning!!

This app is terrible. It constantly kicks me out of shows, and you can't fast forward to get back where it left off when it restarts you. If I have an hour to watch, I can't afford to have to restart the whole thing when I'm 30 minutes in. I also can't rewind, and as a person with a hearing disability I occasionally need something repeated. It's ridiculous!

Trying to cast a movie and it freezes about every 5 minutes or so. Have to cast a different app or turn off the TV to get out of the frozen state. Attempted to start it again (which it doesn't remember where I left off) and it froze 4 more times before I finally gave up... The content is good, was super excited to watch the holiday films, but totally disappointed now. =(

I appreciate being able to view the new content soon after the premiere, but it is absolutely frustrating to get playback errors regularly (4 times within an hour most recently). Then being taken back to the beginning after an hour and the fourth error. Yes, I know, first world problems but something I was looking forward to while dealing with a pretty serious medical issue.

This app is the worst. They need to get with the times and make it more user friendly and accessible. Working with chromecast and other apps would be a good start. Also, with the rise in cord cutting they should make it to where this can be purchased without a cable plan. Many of us refuse to pay for cable now but, miss our movies and would be happy to pay a little extra.

The app freezes to much. I have to spend far to much time getting the app to actually play the movies. And then when they do play they freeze in the middle of the movies and don'always start working again. It makes it far less enjoyable to use when I have to completely restart the app in the middle of a movie just so I can get it unfrozen so I can finish the movie. Even more frustrating when the movie starts all over again.

I have tried 4 differnt times to watch Hallmark's Christmas movies and each time I have been disconnected from the movie. The most recent experience gave me a playback error right in the middle of it. When I click on the movie to continue watching I have to start from the beginning and I am not able to fast forward to where the glitch happened. I have sent feedback 3 times through the app and have not recived a response. Very disappointed!

When viewing a show, there is limited function of forward and reverse modes. The app moves from one suggestion to the next-- there's no skipping for when selecting a show to watch. The app has limited choices. If you want to watch a series, pre-selected episodes are available. App needs a great amount of work to be improved!!
