Its ok but there are some improves needed when it comes to Spartan Customizing. Some armor parts will not render such as the Spartan III Chest Knife and other newer items. The graphics themselves could be slightly better and the lack of being able to preview newer armor before you buy it is a bit sad. Finally the interface is a bit buggy either not loading at all saying "No Flight Available" or loading very slowly even with fast internet.

Absolute mess on Mobile. I'm logged in and I have my account connected in Waypoint for Twitch Drops. I can't edit my profile, I can't view my redeem history, I can't view connected accounts. Twitch Drops don't work as intended they redeem on Twitch but not on Waypoint even when I have confirmed my Waypoint account is connected for Twtich Drops. Lost the Victory Shout Pose because of this.

To be fair, when has a game companion ever been good. But in all seriousness, I love the concept for Halo Waypoint on mobile, a place to browse news, forums, and interact with Halo in general when you're away from PC/Console. But when the app is so under developed, and so many bugs visible when you first open the app, that turns away people from using it, making 343 or Microsoft not want to fix issues.

Only certain parts of it work. The shop and battle pass progression are handy for reference but the customisation doesn't work at all - that's only possible in the game. In the app you get a random basic armour shown and when you change anything you just see floating components, not whole items so it's impossible to use for its intended purpose. If it worked it would be cool though!

It's overall a pretty good app, but there are some bugs that need to be addressed. Such as the words that will cut out on the edge of the screen, or the fact that you can't switch profiles. Another big issue is the visability for the battle pass, service record, and articles, it seems almost claustrophobic to be in that app. Making the writing smaller and more clear would help with that a LOT.

The app is a great idea and when it works it will be amazing but at the moment it's only really good for checking the battle pass as customisation does not work. It's shows my Spartan cores with the wrong armour and colours,if I go into them all I can see is a visor and a neck, and worst of all if I make changes they have not carried over when I boot up the game on my series X. Waypoint will be great,but its main purpose simply is not working at the moment.

It's just been redesigned, but I'm disappointed. Firstly, the app is very sluggish and performs poorly on my Samsung Galaxy. Secondly, the interface is unintuitive and confusing - the menu flows and bespoke buttons and nav icons make it hard to sense where you are in the app, or where to go. Thirdly, the visual design is bland - very subjective, I know, but nothing about this looks or feels 'Halo' at all - the icon, colours, fonts and symbols are very generic and don't evoke the games at all.

New update is LEAGUES better than the old. It actually works on newer Android for one, and the menus and UI are very intuitive. Gives you access to progression systems of current Halo games, and will also do so for Infinite. I do wish the Exchange was available for MCC through the app, and being unable to change what season the system selects for the MCC battlepass is an odd decision as well.

They somehow manged to make the store work properly but the rest of the app is broken.

Halo 5 leaderboards and requisition screens are busted, and as of now, I have no way to redeem my daily req pack

When I customize my spartan it doesn't fully load. I know it's not me cause I'm full bars with 5G

Getting a glitch! When I try to customize the spartan the visual is a neck guard and visor. Have had a regular waypoint account on the website. The app concept is a great idea but needs to be fixed as we transition to mobile. I would like an option to add in clan info like the website. 343 has maybe taken on a little too much with this. Either way kudos for trying, maybe ole Bill can help you?

The app itself is a great idea and has lots of potential, but just like most any other companion app for a game, it barely works if at all. The only useful and functional portion of the app sadly is the news tab, none of the game specific tabs load in properly and there isn't ultimately that much that this app does. It could be a great app that does a lot that the website isn't able to with proper support; but in it's current state there isn't any reason to use this over the website.

So far it allows me to log in, however in reading the articles, Ive noticed that the text gets cut off. It isnt a zoom issue either as Ive tried expanding the image. Also, Ive noticed that it taks a rather long time for it to transition from me u to menu. Dont think its my phone as all my other apps function properly. This needs work 343i.

Was finally able to log in but when I try to customize my Spartan after choosing the armor and selecting modify, it briefly shows the customization options with no Spartan and instantly crashes the app. Also when I try to toggle on contact information it won't save the setting, happens with the steam id toggle too. Hopefully these issues get addressed soon.

Junk, only 1 page loads half the time. It doesn't recognize that you're already a Halo insider,so it won't let you access your halo Insider account. The customize page has never loaded and when you try to access your profile the site freezes. So go ahead and install. I shouldn't keep all the fun for myself,plus it's really easy to uninstall after all.

Layout on Fold 3 (both screens) is completely unusable. Can't actually click on anything besides the game selection and something is blocking touches from the bottom menu so it's utterly useless. The initial guide popup isn't centred so is barely visible and therefore useless. Given all the hoopla about rebuilding Waypoint and Microsofts partnership with Samsung to bring optimised apps to the device, the state of it is a little sad to see.

3d models don't fully load in the halo infinite customisation menu (only visors, knee pads and their connected tech suit pieces show up), and i wish it could have showed more stats for that game (ranked stats). Otherwise it's a great companion app.

Reviews are too harsh. Yes, the customisation bit doesn't work but it's still somewhere I can easily check the item shop, my battle pass/event progression and halo news (like when a new event is out). UI is overly criticised as well; seems fine to me.

Slow, unresponsive, and broken. The app just fails to do the most basic of processes such as customise your spartan. It needs to be seriously improved as I don't see how it helps when playing the game or when away from it.

Regarding Infinite this is a laggy sluggish app that doesn't really do anything. Being able to customize your armor is KINDA cool, but no detailed match history?? You should be able to show off your stats and ranked progress to friends.

Unusable in its current state. I love halo and I loved waypoint, but this app has clearly not been a priority. It is incredibly slow and cumbersome. Graphics don't load. Waste of time for now, bit I'm sure it'll be improved in the future.

This app has never worked prior to Infinite's release, and still doesn't. Constant errors, tabs won't load, interface is sloppy, items in the shop have no description or proper images, can't load half the items.. kind of a joke

Have only had Halo Waypoint installed for 2 days and I am extremely disappointed. It's very shocking that Microsoft, a computer software and hardware company, cannot create and manage an operational companion app for Halo. It's clunky, slow, weird, I cant link Steam much less edit my Profile, avatar is not representative of my in game avatar, I can't pull up any in game stats, just event and battle pass progression. I don't think there's one good thing about this app. Microsoft, do better. Plz

Kinda useless. Decent UI but no real hooks into Halo Infinite other than customizing your Spartan remotely, which is a notable achievement - but stats aren't there.. Nor rank. Or a friends/social system, or really any useful integration at all, but I guess the framework is there. I'm skeptical it'll ever be worth using.
