September 30, 2020 I update the older version of this app and it rolled all my contacts back to 12-01-01 12:01a.m. 1970, newer version has UTC time option. But keep in mind if you have older version of this app leave it alone (user beware! on old version only ). Or you might have a roll back also like I had, on the newer updated version you should be good to go. Rick, KD9QDP.
Nice and easy to use... But the issue with time&date (local instead of UTC) is more than just an inconvenient. And although many reviewers have pointed it out, there's no reply whatsoever from the developer. I hope he/she is ok, and maybe in the near future there is an update or a fix.
Like the app but would be nice if there was a setting to include station online lookup data. When call sign entered, it looks like up data and stores it in the log.
A basic but useful way to log when away from your shack. Would like more robust features but love the simple interface.
It's a good start but TAB needs to take you through all the edit fields and there needs to be dupe-checking for it to be feasible for contesting -- especially field-day.
Good app. Time wasn't UTC! I run mobile or portable so automatic grid or coordinate for the qso is a must! Nice that I could have multiple logs though.
Nice little basic logger. I like it! Needs "DMR" in mode choices. Has DSTAR but not DMR. DMR+ might be a nice addition too.
I've just downloaded and played with this a little. It looks good. I'm going to try it on some upcoming POTA activations. N9OQT
Works well for a basic logbook; major loss of rating is the inability to use UTC. Please see if this can be fixed. de G8ITB.
I tried a Field Day logbook. No matter what section I selected, the app recorded it as AL. I will re-assess once the update is released. Thank you Karson for your quick response.
An OK app, but too many un-necessary fields to fill in when doing casual contesting.
Great little tool, very useful for my first forays into the hobby.
All dates read 1969 even though the dates were input correctly
Easy to use and adif export works well!
As a new ham finding it very easy to use thanx
Cannot use. Keep getting "Unfortunately Ham Logger has stopped!" Totally useless.
I am mostly into 2 meter and 440 and so far so good for me.
I would like the option to set the time zone to UTC
Passed test, first time after doing practice
tried to use it for rield day ....
Simple, nice and clean, but doesn't do dupe checking. Ideally, as each character of a call sign is entered, the software looks through the database for matching strings. That way you know you have already worked that station before you have even tried to start the exchange. Fairly common in PC log apps, but haven't seen this in Android log apps.
The best friend to keep log of all QSOs. Zero flaw in operation and search.
Nice clean interface, functions flawlessly
Looking forward to new features. For me I'm moving from another logbook app to this app because as the old app has more features, this one has faster entry and less bugs. Also seems to have the best ui of any other logbook apps on the market. Keep up the great work!
22/01/10: I've been using this app as my primary logger since my previous review, for around 150 POTA activations and other misc activity. Fantastic app! There's a few performance quirks, but nothing that restarting the app doesn't fix. It's been very reliable, no lost QSOs. 21/03/24: This app is working well for my quick test. I will try it out thoroughly for my next POTA activation. It seems to have the minimum features I need and none that I don't. Simple and straightforward. Thanks!
