I have had a long time desire to study for my amateur radio license. My friend Pat KN4NTV sent me a link to this app to help me study. I find it very easy to work with it is helpful and informative. I look forward to taking my exam soon, and becoming licensed. With the help from this app.
I have sent emails and requested information on when the extra would be updated. We used this for our tech and general tests and were very happy but we are using something else to get our Extra License. No response from the manufacturer
The math on how it calculates score is buggy. In practice I went back and forth between two questions a few times. The app said I got 40% right but I only missed one of 14 questions.
Great App! I really enjoy not having ads or the need for nerwork connections. Works great, even during a power outage!
Took the extra class exam based 90% of study time using this app and scored a 96% first time. Have never operated a ham radio but used this app to successfully pass the general exam also!
Good study app, though the amateur extra questions need to be updated (new question pool as of June 2020) and figures aren't displayed which makes it impossible to answer the figure-based questions
The Extra Class question Pool isn't updated. I uninstalled this app as soon as I realized it. Update the question Pool and I'll download again and give it a better review. I'm now using ham radio exam
I don't understand the study portion of the app. It seems to provide none of the material to study and then it expects you to know the answer. Where is the material we are supposed to be studying? Is this a situation where we're given the answers and expected to remember them? There needs to be at least an explanation of how we are supposed to use this app. None of it makes sense to me.
Works great. Makes studying for ham tests fun. Incremental progress is tracked and provides inspiration to study more.
Utilized this app to study for the Technician Class test. Passed yesterday with a score of 100% correct answers. Thanks for everything!
The study section is outstanding! I recommend taking the test for the class you are interested in several times.
Great for studying outdated questions. Don't bother if you're looking to prepare for a current exam.
Love it!!!!!! This app really helped study for my Tech and General license scoring only one wrong when sitting for both tests at once.
Every person should be able to use repeaters and understand how to operate, maintain and fix one. Your life could depend on it. Not to mention it's many uses.
Great app. It has helped me earn both my technician and general licenses. Thank you for it.
Diagrams missing on schematics questions. So a question might ask " what is component 2" but there's no illustration.
Used this to get my tech and general but the extra test is outdated and no longer valid. New extra test was introduced 07-01-2020.
Good app rendered useless by out-of-date question pool. With current questions it would be a 4- or 5-star app.
Unfortunately, the question pools are out of date for current testing cycles.
Pool questions are out of date for Tech and general and won't update
I can not update the question pools even after uninstalling several times
Nice app, but the questions aren't current with the 2018-2022 exam.
I used the app to get my license. However it is now out of date for general and extra .
This app is not going to be very much help if they don't update the pool questions.
Very good tool to study for the exams.
Come on!!! Update the questions or pull the App!!!!!!!! Other than that it's great!
Love it but how do you see the images/figures in questions?
Passed tech test, but the general is outdated
Worked great, passed test easily.
Passed Technician and General Class an hr ago 97%. Did 80% study in this app. I have some basic electronics background. But here is the kicker: This app tells you what concepts you need to study as you do the sections. When you run into an unfamiliar area, just stop and get the needed clarity. For example: grab an Ohm's Law app and define fundamentals like capacitance, series vs parallel behavior for components in circuits, etc. and you're home free. Then, flip out your phone and drill
