Hamish & Andy

The H&A content is great of course but the app is a bit of a disaster. It stops all the time and forces you to get your phone out to restart it (it did this within 1 min of the start of every episode for a good month or so), keeps replaying episodes from 2006 at random and generally doesn't play nice with remote audio controls. This is all very frustrating. The audio quality varies greatly too but I'm not sure if that's the app or Jack's incompetence.

Guys are great, app is broken. Recently I have been unable to listen to the podcasts with a locked screen. Once i lock my screen it will play for about 30-40 seconds and then cut out and stop working. Love this app but when i have to continuously unlock my phone to listen, (especially in the car), it becomes extremely annoying. Please help.

The Content is 11/10, but the app is 5/10 I'd like a playlist or 'auto next' type feature. It doesn't integrate with Android Auto -- annoying as I mainly listen on my commute. If there was an auto download that would be nice too. For example some days I listen to a few episodes only to realise I forgot to delete and download some more ahead of the next day. 3 out of 5 as the App works, and there are work arounds for all the problems I have listed.

Great content is a given. Would like to be able to have it broke into sections e.g. specials, years, extra content. PLayback doesnt work great when paused when the phone is locked. Search hasn't worked the few times I've tried to find something. Not specific on whether you are searching by the date of the podcast or the date uploaded

I want to support Hamish and Andy, but this app is glitchy and not easy to use. I subscribed for 2 years and I'm not going to continue until why fix the app, or better yet create a new simple app with logical playback and downloads. This app does weird things like skip to the next track before the end. When trying to download one track, it starts to download all tracks. It just isn't very functional. Hamish and Andy, you'll get way more support if you sort out a new app for yourselves lads xo

Although the content is obviously brilliant, the user interface is aweful. Skipping tracks, bad design, frustrating to use at times when it decides to turn off or even repeat at will. Finally the most frustrating part is the fact that some outdated ads are still left in. For a premium service it's fairly disappointing.

Great content. Hamish and Andy never fail to get a laugh out of me and their is so many podcasts to listen too it's a great time killer on long drives ect. Free for all the new podcasts and I you want to dive into their past pods from their radio days ( which I highly recomend ( over 30,000 minutes of quality entertainment ) ) it's a very cheap subscription less than $10 a year. Only reason for 4 star is due to app is a bit fiddly when trying to fast forward to specific parts of a podcast.

I download the episodes and listen then the next time I go to listen to an episode, all of a sudden it reveals some kind of error and won't play. I then have to delete and re-download. I listen to the podcasts daily and it probably has this error once or twice a week.

The app is not the most advanced. But the content you get more than makes up for it. There are literally thousands of hours of entertainment here. I've listened to three years worth in three months. The only drawback is that I'm developing an addiction that will inevitably end. Still got ten years of content though, so that should see me through till next year and then the detox will commence.

Pretty bad app. Half the time it either doesn't work offline or connect to other bluetooth device (i.e. car stereo). Considering I pay a subscription fee I would expect more. It's pretty clunky.

I've listened to Hamish and Andy for 7 years now, and I can't get enough. The app itself isn't amazing and I have had some problens with it (episdoes disappearing, download issues), but it's still pretty good and more than enough to listen to my favourite aussie duo.

The fact that the first line in this apps description is "the easiest way to listen to Hamish and Andy" is as funny as the well executed comedic duo's funniest bits! This is the SHITTIST way to listen to anything ever. It feels like they paid a monkey trapped in a 1999 time capsule to model the interface for this app after a Chinese knockoff MP3 player. I have no idea how they made an app this bad in this day and age. Podcasts won't download, buttons are tiny and unresponsive. 1/5 is generous

luv it guys! for all those having trouble with playback pausing now and then, just uninstall the app, reinstall it, clear data and cache and ya all good. haven't had problems since. keep up the good work guys

Hamish and Andy are the absolute best! This app is absolutely one of the worst audio consumption applications I've ever seen! You guys are in radio! It's just audio! Please make the app usable

Amazing content, app is easy to use if a bit difficult to use sometimes. Very cheap great for car trips and bus rides plus very easy to download episodes offline.

Good experience so far :) easy select and press play to listen. straight forward layout. cant really complain. I am just happy i get to listen to these guys with a push of a button. yay.

No ads and no junk. Just Hamish and Andy :) Not sure why others have issues with the app - for me it is seamless, never glitches, always remembers the last episode I listened to and shows me if there is a new episode. That's all it has to so and it does it well. 5 stars Hamish and Andy!

been away from oz for 6 years and was so bored with irish radio I had reduced myself to listening to the traffic channel, out of know where I remembered hamish and Andy, quick search and downloaded the app, listening to all from the start absolute gold laughing out load while driving, never going back. 6 Stars for the boys, just the app is not the best. Can you at least fix it so when the app is opened it is on the main page? Instead of some random episode... I close all my apps regularly, yet it still opens on random episodes

I love Hamish and Andy and have been using their app since the launch but the newest update causes the audio to pause every minute or so when trying to listen to an episode.

Ahoy! Love the content! App is painful. Doesn't remember which episode I'm listening to. So hard to search for episodes. Needs better organization. Get on it Jack!

These guys are great but the app is dreadful. Virtually unusable. It won't event let you download multiple episodes with a premium subscription. It's so bad I want to hurt the people that made it

This is the most user unfriendly app ever. It can't remember what episode I'm up to. Do you realise how frustrating it will be to find my bookmark episode. I have premium... Complete dagger in the brain.

I drive 4hrs a day return trip for work in the bush, radio coverage is terrible so love listening to you guys, started in 2008 and working forward, fantastic to hear the old segments you guys have done over the years, always gives me a laugh.

great app with great content, can be hard to navigate at times. steaming quality works most of the time.

I did not like how it the mini player stays on the notification tab for 1 min then disappeared and you have to go back it to the app to get it again. But Hamish and andy rock

Simple app, but when will casting be supported? I want to cast to chromecast like every other app, unfortunately I can't get hamish and andy on other apps so please fix it.

Content is 10/5. I often have issues playing downloaded tracks and have to delete and download them. Can you search for keywords in tracks too?

Not very intuitive or user friendly. Can't easily add episodes to a playlist etc

apart from minit playback issues experienced lately its great to be able to listen to hamish and andy - issues now resolved. these guys are legends
