Hammond ML

Vintage Hammond Organ and Leslie Speaker Model List.
Want to know if that Hammond you have is a B3 or an A100 or just an M2 ? And is that Leslie 120 you've seen for sale the same as a 122 ? This is the app to look at!

A standalone version of the main model list found at http://www.jackhollow.com/hammond/modellist/index.html.

NOTE
- first time run it will take a few seconds to create the main database. When on wi-fi, will create a cache of image thumbnails also, hence NETWORK permission required.

***
* If you find it crashes when selecting any organ etc, try uninstall & reinstall (version 110 and above should avoid this problem though) ****

(For those who did not notice, this is not an app to simulate a Hammond organ sound). It is a nicely put together informational vehicle to record the differences between the models of (what many people including myself) consider the greatest/most expressive organ used in popular music styles from blues to jazz to rock to country. This is a great concise start on reference material for Hammond Organ owners and interestd listeners. I still own a Hammond BV with a percussion unit installed to make it closer in capability and sound to a B3. It also has a key bass option to go with the pedal board on more up tempo early Rock tunes. My Hammond began its public life in a church (a 1949 Hammond model BV). I took it on the road in a 1970s Rock band, and two of us moved it to well over a thousand gigs before our backs and "adequate" simulators arrived in the 1980s. Thanks for doing a really nice reference setup for a great instrument.

This is not a program, or an emulator, or even a sampler. It's just a catalog.
