HamRadioExam - General
Ham Radio Exam allows the user to review the correct answers to the official pool of questions that will appear on their General license exam.
The user can also take quizzes of each topic that will be on the exam as well as take simulated examinations that exactly mimic the license exam that the user will take.
The users performance is stored so that the user can track their progress as they continue their preparations.
Ham Radio Exam even allows the user to find an examination session near them and to follow ham radio news.
The question pool is valid until 01 July 2019.

Great app, used the technician one to pass but this one does not provide immediate feedback on the section quizzes which is disappointing. Hopefully this is fixed. Other than that, it is a great app. EDIT: To enable instant feedback, you must uncheck it in the settings and recheck it for it to work.
Easy to use. Passed exam easily using this app. Researched unfamiliar terms and calculations on the web to better learn material rather than simply memorizing answers. General is improved a bit over the Technician version, but both are great resources. I liked being able to review my quiz scoring history.
I feel the end user should tap the screen to show the correct answer. Showing the correct answer takes away the fun. ANSWER TO FEEDBACK ON REVIEW: Yes, that is correct and my feedback still stands. Develop the UI to allow someone to answer the question and see if they answered it correct by tapping on the screen. I'm not ready for the quiz yet.
THANK YOU! VERY helpful. I've used these apps to just run through the questions - any little short free-times - always at the ready. I definitely recommend NOT just memorizing the answers (ONLY using this tool) - LEARN the 'what' behind the answers! Use to keep reviewing! Started with the Tech app last year (& ARRL book) - passed on first exam. I've used this (General) version for the last couple of months (with a couple of reference books) - just passed on my General upgrade - first exam!
This app trains users on expired questions. The test pool changed on 1 July 2019 and as of the end of the month, this app isn't updated yet. Check to see if has the current questions when you download. Other than that, it looks decent, but I didn't try it out.
I used this and the "no nonsense general ham study guide" to pass the general test last weekend. I read a section of the guide then took the practice quize for that section on here. I took a lot of sample exams along the way. I think I only missed 1 or 2 on the real test. I like that it keeps track of the questions you have trouble with so you're able to review those now and then.
Just went up to WPB and took the Technician and General exams. The prep that I took for the Tech exam I paid $20 for from another site and missed only one question. I used this study guide, one hour a day, for 30 days, reinforcing the early chapters, over and over, again. I missed one question and this was free! Thanks Roy!
Just took my Technician Exam, app was very helpful. Take a practice exam, review what you got wrong. The more exams you take, the more it can focus you in on what you need to study.

Great app! Used this app as my primary study tool and passed my general test on the first try and got 100% correct. I highly recommend. Read through the study answers, take sample tests and track your results.
After using the technician app to pass, came back for the general. Love this app. Best way to study for the exam. Study the right answers. Practice what you know over and over until you're ready for the real exam. Passed first try.
Update: Not sure what my original issue was but this app is perfect. Went into the exam feeling confident and passed. Going to give Amateur Extra a shot now.

Great study tool but needs to be updated for new general exam questions. Still, used it to pass the general and only saw three questions not in this app and was able to figure them out.
Great app. Used this app along with Gordon West's book. I passed the test with only 2 missed, bonehead mistakes on my part. Great to study concentrating on material I was having trouble with.
Excellent app. Great help in studying for the exams, letting you know the areas you need to study more.
With this app and Gordon West's General Ham test prep book I passed my Element 3 exam with flying colors. Great app, has all the questions you need. I spent about 2 hours a day over 20 days with the book and app to get ready.
I found out about a nearby VE session one month before the test date. Read through the question pool once and then crammed with the sample tests in my free time. Scored 34/35 first try. Thanks for a fantastic study guide. Now for Extra next month! de N5SOQ AG
I used this app to get my technician and now downloaded this one to get my general. Thank you for making this app. I have a full time job and a full time student so look out for me at the Orlando Hamfest!!
Worked excellent. Used it with reading the ARRL book. Passed first attempt! The app is extremely easy to use, and I recomend it to anyone.
Awesome app. I started studying and practicing on a Tuesday and passed my General on Saturday. This was the only tool I used while studying.
Nice and simple, and it works well. Keeps track of areas you need to focus on.
This app is two (2) years old and has been replaced by a newer version. None of these questions appear on the new test and therefor are a complete waste of time

This is THE app to use. I used it for the General and Amateur Extra exams. Missed only 1 on the General, only 3 on the Extra using the app almost exclusively.
App does exactly what's needed to help you pass the General. Great app for free. Have no complaints.

This app is awesome. I wpuld use this app to study. Then i would take the practice test at qrz. That way i could get used to seeing questions in different formats. Worked out great. The only thing i noticed were a couple questions were a little different. One was about the digital voltmeter and the other was about beacons above 10 meters. I scored 34 out of 35. The beacon question was one i missed. Thanks for a really great app. It was a great help!! Thanks and 73.
