HamSphere 4.0 Mobile

I like hs4 it's good, and very realistic with propagation etc .. it's kept professional just like real ham radio and there are no idiots on there, every user seems friendly Down side.... The overall experience with hamsphere is great except for price of add-ons and that they are installed per device so if you spend £500 on extras for your PC hs4 radio then the smartphone version can not use them and you need to purchase again for the smartphone... It should be per member not per device

Hamsphere four is a very good system to use is a good addition to any equipment if you already have any, and works great as an alternative in areas where you may not be able to put up an antenna for actual equipment. It is not RF to RF but being voice internet protocol-based it still gets you out all over the place. Kj7exm.

User interface needs work. Seems like a nice and useful concept but if your UI requires people to have to go to YouTube and Google to perform basic functions then it means the progrrammers failed and it needs to be redone.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the mobile version. Purchased a good antenna when first installed as everything shown was functional. Apparently it was a trial so all plugins are now non functional and it would cost close to $100 or so to get it working again as it was installed. I apparently would have to purchase two additional plugins to get my antenna back and then continuously see a host of crippling ads to bait for more purchases. Totally out of line as I never saw this state of affairs disclosed at time of antenna purchase. Apparently no credit or privileges given to purchasers of desktop version (good work there and fair).Licensed ham. Addendum 09/19: After submitting a request for consideration, the particular antenna loss situation has been rectified and a more forward disclosure of purchase conditions has been initiated. I still do think that commensurate plug in privileges should be extended to registered desktop users along with already purchased equatable plugins. Review has been adjusted accordingly.

I had problems creating an account both online and on app as it didn't recognise my m7 callsign as a UK one but now all sorted as a member on a Facebook group got in touch with administrator who sorted this for and created my account so call sign now recognised. anyone having trouble email the support email under developer contact info and I'm sure they will sort this.

This is a 30 DAY TRIAL! yet nothing is mentioned anywhere in the app, ALL the plugins will stop working at the end of the trial, so for instance if you purchase a roratable antenna in the first 30 days you will not be able use it after the trial ends unless you purchase the plugin that originally comes with the app, so DON'T purchase anything unless you understand this, after 7 years I have many plugins on Windows but are all non transferable to the mobile app, WHY? £££££££££££££ that's why!

Tried it. Got on then was kicked off less then 1 minute. because they said I was keying the mic. Never touched it. Not sure if the problem is in the app or something else. But now I am not allowed on ever so guess I will never really know.

It does not work with my Google Pixel 3. During startup it says that needs to login as administrator and cannot download a few files. At the end, it states that there is a problem with either my phone or the internet being too slow.

Intrusive. It wants permission to access All your files before you can use it. If you deny this it says it needs it to record audio, you don't need access to everything on my phone just for audio???

Worse customer service I've dealt with in some time. Null and void is the best description. I can't get passed sign in screen even with proper info. When I selected to get help, it took me to a screen where it asked for $5 to get an answer on how to fix my issue. (Seriously?) I emailed last week and have heard nothing. Uninstalling now since there are plenty of other Apps that I am sure will not try to rip me off, wont ignore me, may actually work and Will care about the customer!!!

I really like the app, i met some 2 stations, they were really welcoming and friendly. Been a subscriber for a month but i feel like i dont like paying it no more, can you please release a pro versiom of this? i hate paying monthly.

I tried to register but failed. I got the note "Your IP does not match your call sign." HamSphere that's not true. Something is wrong with your record. Then I tried to register and download the desktop version on my PC. I filled all fields, clicked the Download button but never got the confirmation mail. HamSphere, what's wrong now? Both ways of registration are lousy done. Too bad how the don't want my money.

For the un initiated, THIS IS NOT "HAM RADIO". Save your money (as these guys will try to take LOTS of it) Use DroidStar or Echolink for the REAL radio connection. This is a polished Zello at the best, at worse its a complete rip off and has been for years. You're connecting to a server (with added virtual noise, to make it sound like RF) Can't believe people fall for this

great concept. im looking to get into ham and would love a sim like this. but only a 30 day trial and you have to pay for everything i will be deleting after the trial ends. greedy execution. the greed is going to kill this app. please look into fixing this app and make it more appealing

Very slow support it's not very a tentative to the customer's needs. I was going to buy the software but I cannot log in to the system even though they said they have corrected everything. Tech Support should check my log in and password before telling me it's OK because I still can not long in therefore I have not been successfully able to evaluate the hands fear software applications and therefore I will not purchase this software nor recommend a higher rating for the application .

Doesn't open/work. Older version 3.0 opens and works but 4.0 after clicking log in, it appears to be trying, but then nothing happens and it goes back to the log in screen.

Money grabber... force you to upgrade constantly... save your money... its worst than having a boat... hole in the water and keep sinking money into it.

Does not look much like a real radio, worst of all it forces portrait mode and that means its pretty useless on my android tablet, unless I like looking sideways.

I I advise everyone to go into settings and check your not on automatic payment because if you stop using it you are still charged or message them and tell them to turn auto payments off

I am really enjoying this app and it is a nice intro to the ham radio. Definitely considering purchasing, just wish my area were less quiet.

Hamsphere radios version there is not written that this is payed after download the hamsphere apps than after some messages comes that your trial as finish ed now purchase. But in play store there where nothing written that you have to purchase the bands and these are trial versions.

"No callsigns available for my country"! I don't think so. Deleted. I also tried the Windows version but heard no one. Also deleted.

Well it was working well until I upgrade to a S21 Samsung and now it is not loading up at all. I send an mail to info but no respond from them.So be prepaird if you buy a Samsung S21 the app not going to work Regards ZS6BML Machael

I installed the app, but before trying it I read the reviews.. not good impression, and i am not even going to bother with creating an account and delete this app from my phone... 73

Does not work on Google pixel 5. It worked perfectly on my Google pixel 3. Had to download hamsphere 3 which works. I am not happy as I liked Hamsphere 4 with 2m and 70cms. Very disappointed with this not working on the pixel 5.

I have been trying for hours to pay and get on. But just keeps coming around with the log in screen and no further place to go.. Around in circles.

Giving a good rating as i like hamsphere overall. for some reason this app rather thantheother one you make i do not receive as many signals at all. maybe i need to learn more about it

Unclear where the radio is. Like every frequency is somewhere else. Odd and useless.

I carry it with me everywhere and work all bands with my custom setup HS4 Virtual 11 band + 2mtr and 70cm pocket radio on my android cell phone w/ a Bluetooth headset. You might say I'm hooked.😊 73 de KA9V Carl
