HànBǎoBāo - Learn Chinese Fast

Hi, I've always loved this app, however I've come across a problem with the new update. The app will suggest the least used meaning/Pinyin tone. For example 的 it will tell me 'dì' in the floating icon. Only when I click on the character will it show me the most common meaning/tone is 'de'. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much for this app!

THANK YOU SO MUCH I'm so happy the transliterate copied text function was added; it launches HBB instantly from anywhere I need it to! It's really helpful, and transition's so smooth too! Excellent support from devs and of course excellent content too. And it's such a user-friendly app too. SUPER HELPFUL FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO GET A GRIP WITH CHINESE READING AND PINYIN!

I love it! I rarely take the time to rate applications, but this one really works well! I wish you could do a similar app for other languages, the ones that do something "similar" to this one are mediocre in comparison

It was working on it's own app but not in other apps such as WeChat. It would be a helpful tool if it could work properly 😔

Would be 6 stars if graphic design was not so hamburger... Otherwise dictionary is really good and helpful Would be really great if user could create own dictionary that would show meanings based on book he's learning with

I really like this app! It's super quick and convenient, BUT it would be perfect for me and get that extra star if it could display traditional characters as well as simplified. Pretty much all other Chinese dictionary and reader apps have the option to choose whether you want to be shown simplified or traditional characters, so it feels like this app is lacking what is standard on other Chinese learning aids :/

Get instant pinyin and translation for any on-screen hanzi. Long passages all at once with drill down word definition. If the interface isn't obvious at first persist because it's worth it.

Such a useful app, I use a few language exchange apps, both with and without translation options and this app works great with them all, I really love the Pinyin being prominent as other translation apps often just show Hanzi and it's translation，我非常喜欢，谢谢！

As a Chinese language student this app has greatly helped to improve my communication skills since I can easily reference any word without having to leave the app or conversation i'm in. Make sure you enable the accessibility service so you can just tap to lookup, saves heaps of time =D

Super useful for chatting in Line or other apps

From any app/page/message, simply select and copy Chinese text. When the app is open, it displays the Pinyin. Tap a word you don't know for the definition. Works perfectly!

it shows the Pinyin and could be used on top of other apps ... a must have app for learning Chinese^O^
