HandCash

Used to be a great wallet but very limited customer service. Do NOT upgrade your phone to Android 12. It kills the wallet and you will have to use the web...not your phone There is nobody that will answer questions about a fix either. Chose another wallet until they resolve the issues

I have known the HandCash founders since the beginning of their journey. The HandCash app (and team) keeps getting better and better. Just used the new top-up featured in version 4.0 and it was fast and easy to buy more BSV for my wallet. Love that HandCash wallet integrates with popular BSV apps, making it easy to play around with and use the growing universe of BSV apps. HandCash continues to be a WIN and powers significant use of the BSV ecosystem.

This is the best bitcoin wallet I have tried. I have been able to send and receive thousands of transactions thanks to this app. The ability to send bitcoin (bsv) to your friends in such a cheap and efficient way is only possible on bitcoin blockchain and apps like handcash

it's pretty neat when working but lots of updates that keep breaking the previous version without proper notifications beforehand. can't recommend it at current state and rate of change. if you use the app it will stop working out of the blue due to some updates. guys please try harder. you are a money app. act accordingly. I still Love it and it's getting better. update February 2021: it's great and getting better. haven't had any issues since.

Anyone telling you they don't like this app is defending their BTC bag against the only systemic threat in crypto. Bitcoin that scales on layer 1! This wallet is super convenient, can pay handle, paymail, and address. Has access to a regularly growing ecosystem of apps built directly on bitcoin at scale. Mastercard/blockstream BTC developers who purposely crippled bitcoin so that it wouldn't compete with credit cards hate it every time someone downloads and uses this wallet.

So if the BSV goes up it'll increase here? Why can't I have a backup codes! Doesn't seem like a legit wallet.

The best experience I ever had with a Bitcoin wallet it's very similar to Google Play the best experience still I've ever had and I've been here since 2013 within the crypto space nothing is even close to this it is the best ever

Amazing $BSV wallet. I use the HandCash wallet for nearly all transactions. It's by far the easiest wallet to use, making other blockchains like $ETH, $XRP, $BTC all look like a joke in comparison.

Can not open any apps won't even show any apps

This is the most advanced, yet simple app in my phone. All apps I connect to through this wallet app are running smooth

Beta user and was impressed with what they had done especially with the connection with keyport which now seem defunct. After upgrade app requires you to give them your phone number. Unnessary and a privacy concern for for a wallet. Then they send you a code via SMS that the app rejects as invalid with no way to circumvent. Unusable app. Wasted 15 mins of my life.

Can't get past 'Recovery Phase' and there's no way to bail and try for a different handle, basically soft locking the app, and your phone number. it would also be nice to have an explanation why a phone number is required on the sign up screen. Edit: after updating still stuck on 12 words screen

I refuse to own a smartphone so I gave up on using a mobile wallet for Bitcoin SV. Stumbled across app.handcash.io. I guess Ubuntuu 64 bit is friendly to android apps. Install was as smooth and quick you could want. Not a hangup of any kind, Adding friends, sending and receiving $ seamless experience. I would recommend Handcash to newbies onboarding to Bitcoin. The user experience is intuitive. It has a look and feel of an app refined over many years of feedback but it is reasonable new company. Great team coding this one.

Update: the ideal first bitcoin (BSV) wallet. Friendly, and useful. Pushing the industry forward with paymail integration. A few little minor annoyances here and there, but it's getting better with each new release.

Would be good but cant send to a bitcoin address, only paymail or friends. The paste option is block from send and it doesn't recognise a typed address.

HandCash claims to be creating the future way to use cryptos, but in doing so they have set the whole system back at least five years. You need to be a massive geek to get at your money, and even then I'm not sure you could. I'm just a small/medium geek and I've been trying unsuccessfully for three days to get at my money, in which time I've seen the value plummet. If you buy a Paymail address allegedly you can get your money out, but I've no idea where it goes to and I'm not buying it until that's explained. If you can generate a QR code from a BSV or legacy address you can use that in HandCash, but every time you receive the error message "The scanned QR code is not a valid BSV payment request". Still following? I thought not. HandCash support is no help whatsoever. They sent me a link to a blog on how to write code to generate a QR payment request. I wrote it. I then had to find a QR code generator to convert it to a QR code. I signed up and did that. I used the QR code in HandCash. Same error message. Their support team also wrote to me "Currently, the whole ecosystem is working towards a future where all transactions are more private and P2P. For this reason, we decided to gradually adapt the wallet while the ecosystem phases old practices (such as single output transactions, and reusing addresses)." Translated, that means you can't use it as contactless payment in a store (even though their sales pitch says you can) and you can't send it to another wallet. In short, it's impossible to convert it to fiat, or even to another crypto; all you can do is keep swapping it with other people who think they are using currency. It's not really worth worrying about because BSV is going to be worth less than glass beads before too long, but if you do care, don't put it into HandCash. I'm beginning to believe that all the positive reviews have been written by HandCash. Until they can tell me in plain English how to move BSV from HandCash to a wallet that accepts BSV and can convert it to another crypto I'll remain convinced they have stolen my money.

I have been waiting for weeks to get my issue solved. I downloaded this updated version. Verified phone number, got new handle and then it directly takes me to a page asking to enter recovery phrase. If i go back, it exits. I shared a screen recording about it to the support as well but no response.

Best thing since the invention of bread. Seriously get the app. Or else you not gonna make it. 💯💯💯

Handcash is one of the most polished BitCoin wallets out there. It's definitely one of the easiest to use. I'm extremely impressed by both the constant development being done and the customer support.

Had a small issue that was my own fault so I started a ticket which was handled quickly and well exceeded my expectations. Great support!! Great app!! So simple to understand and easy to use!
