The best use of the app once pulled over by the police, turn on the front facing camera and start recording.The best position for this is to place the phone on the dashboard between the windshield and middle of the dashboard with a slight tilt towards the driver's side window By using the front facing camera you can see that the camera is positioned correctly before the screen goes black
Once you begin video recording, you have 10 seconds before the app will go black, but the app is STILL recording. This feature is to protect you from police that might take or destroy your phone
This app uses the GPS feature on your phone and will geotag each video
Please create a Youtube page and login on your phone. This app will automatically save videos every two minutes of recording. It will automatically save to your app, and your device. You can manually upload the videos to Youtube.
Please enter an emergency contact information. Every time a video is uploaded it will send a text message to your contact notifying them a video has been uploaded to Dropbox
This app will work to publicize all peaceful protests and demonstrations across the nation. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] with upcoming protests and demonstrations
If you are pulled over at night, turn on your overhead light so that encounter with law enforcement can been seen
Please download the Dropbox app and set your device to automatically save pictures and videos to your Dropbox account. Also, we suggest that you share your Dropbox account with your emergency contact so they will have access to the videos you upload

Doesn't do what it says because it saves videos to a folder that doesn't auto upload to Dropbox. You can't select a different storage folder either. Rip off!
The videos recorded don't link with Dropbox, as it claims in the description. Dropbox sees all my other videos, just not the ones recorded by Hands Up. That's too bad because the main reason I downloaded the app was in case my phone became damaged or confiscated. Google Nexus 4
Isn't really worth the $0.99. Just a video recorder with a darker, but still on/glowing, screen. Cops can delete the video all the same because NO AUTO UPLOADING!?!?!?. Bad job guys!!
Other than that, this ciuld be a great app. Had to uninstall it. Using a free app now.
They worked out all the bugs, and thisnis going to be a game changer

App does not do as much as the description makes it sound, you have to install other apps like dropbox to save your video's, apart from that it's just bits of advice
So after testing the app I notice that the screen doesn't completely go blank. Also, it would be great if the video would auto upload to a youtube or dropbox account. Not knocking this app. I think it's pretty awesome. As a note, I'm running on a samsung S5 Lollipop 5.0.

Useful app, only issue is it only allows 11 digits for the phone number, in the uk we have 12 digit numbers.
