Handy Construction Calculator

Filled with dozens of useful jobsite math calculators. Very handy app. I would like to ask if you could include an option in the Acreage calculator to handle odd shaped lots. Add input fields for each side and angles then calculate the area. For example my lot has only one right angle and none of the four sides are the same length.

This app is Handy enough however the calculations are incredibly basic. This is not telling me anything I can do on my own with a regular calculator. I'm certain has merits but not for something I'm going to pay for. Sorry.

I have built three houses with this app. I love it.

Can you add something in for pier block. The spacing. How many needed for a deck. But did rechecking on my own math, realized I over shot on balusters and risers on steps. I hate the idea of paying for something. But was encouraged after reading your reviews and noticed you were Johnny on the spot. Great app, I use it very often and it's very accurate. Only one issue i noticed when using the advanced rafter function. The 'total rise' never seems to be right. It's off by about 3". Other then that it is a very well built app and I hope this issue could be resolved

This cuts down on my time be hind a pencil and makes on the fly estimates more rock solid. 2018 and I still love this app.

Being a DIYer I find myself referring to this app because of its usefulness. I've had this app for over 3 years and it continues to improve. Kudos to the developer for keeping it up to date. Update: As of May 2016 I'm still using this app.

Unless you're a drop ceiling Mechanic you can't beat this app. Well worth the small price.

I would give this a 4 star because its pretty good for many things, but the Measurement (to multiply tape-measure fractions like "11'÷3-7/8 = x" ) has me totally stumped or it doesn't work. I've had to download another calculator to use that function.

I am most happy with your paid app calculator; however, consider adding more features to the tile section. Such as grout width/spacing; the 3, 4, 5 rule; layout parameters; tile runs; use the euclidean algorithm to find the ideal tile size for a given space based on available tile size options. Custom residential project manager, this app is just what you need if your application and materials are constantly changing. Makes me more efficient, and anyone familiar with construction knows time is money.

I'm a framing carpenter and I loved. To bad I can't download on the iPhone.

This is one of the most complete construction calculators I've tested. At least they didn't over do it, by adding unnecessary formulas not related to construction like some have done. This is one comprehensive construction calculator.

After much consideration i purchased this app as i find the drawings useful. I do note that while metric input is accepted for the calculators, it is not available for specifying width of the mortar joints in a masonry wall. It would be great if this could please be rectified along with the other imperial only figures (the drill pilot hole chart for example). A pitch guage would also be a welcome addition.

I've used this app on 3 phones now and it's very handy. Would it be possible to add a ductulater to it or would that be to specialized?

Surprised .......!!!!! There is not available the volume of trapezoid ... If you put value for trapezoid then it comes with area of trapezium.......what a shame.....!!!!!! Hello plz tell me What is the trapezium and trapezoid ?????!??

Construction calculator and estimator

I have downloaded all other paid construction calculators available on play store. This is the most comprehensive calculator for construction purpose . There was some problem with rebar nodule. Mr Mike took pain to correct at the earliest and inserted some extra values for my use. It still need improvements in some modules . The developer had promised to incorporate them soon.

So far I have tested it and found the following. No mention that you cannot obtain a refund if you are not happy with the product, Google has a 2 hour window but this app does not, no trial to judge the app to see if it met my needs, some of the screens do not display the results correctly, do not like going into the set up to change from imperial to metric as I was under the impression that it would be and easy choice. This is only after 30 minutes of playing around with the product. Stay tuned for more.

Finally I found a calculator that I am sure will not get lost or broken. The radius function, drop ceilings, wall framing and more, are functions are I use in a regular basis, and now I have all them together in my phone. What else can I say about this app. Great!! And well worth the price.
