Don't believe the hype. For such a low margin rate, I used to love em. But now I see how IBKR robs traders BY DESIGN. Waited 6 hours today to call and place a trade, and the trader basically told me to FO . Do you day trade? I write options and they don't give you any information on liquidity, and I could NOT CLOSE ANy POSITIONS.
