Whenever I activate full screen view while in a meeting, my thumbnail is always eating up a good bit of the screen area, preventing me from viewing some parts of the screen. What makes it even worse is that the thumbnail can't be moved around. It's just in a fixed place. Work on that please because there is not way one can be in a meeting, especially one with the screen being shared, without activating full screen view.
I rely on this for my online classes, which I am now missing because it will no longer work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, cleared data/cache, nothing helps. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THIS APP? FIX IT NOW PLEASE! YOU ARE SERIOUSLY AFFECTING PEOPLE’S LIVES! I thought it was just a glitch at first, Meet failed to connect to the call, but after reinstalling it won’t even open! Stop telling us to report through the app, if the app won't OPEN, there's no way to do that!
It keeps crashing!! I've trued the so called "advice" to fix it on my first review and I said I'd change my rating if its fixed. But no. It still not fixed, now I can't attend my online classes! What even happened to the app!? It was fine before but now everytime I click on it, it loads for 3 seconds turns black then returns me to my homescreen! This is getting annoying! I've tried everything, every single possible thing ti fix this issue! Yet it still doesn't work!
The app crashes on opening. After being opened, the app closes. I can't open the app, so please don't tell me to use the in app report feature. Furthermore, i tried almost everything possible. Reinstalling the app, clearing cache data, restarting my device, and even clearing all data but it simply doesn't work. Multiple other users have also reported this but the reply is just some kind of reply saying do this or that BUT IT DOESNT WORK. This is a problem with the app, not our devices. Pls fix.
After I download the app in the tablet, it become useless Whenever I tried to open it, it automatically goes back to the home screen. It's so disappointing! I regret downloading the app. I already clear the cache even the data storage, and restart my tablet but still the same error occur. It's obvious you're not taking our feedback seriously!!! And NO, your reply is not helpful!!!
After downloading this latest version, the app keeps crashing immediately I open it. I have tried all suggested solutions, cleared caches, disabled second sim, connect to wifi, but it's still the same issue. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same. Many people have the same problem with this new version. Please try to fix. Thanks.
I've started to encounter problems since February 2022. First, when I unmute I could not hear my voice and it would say "The mic is muted due to the size of the call", then next when I turn on my camera, seconds later it would close my camera, and lastly after a minute or so while staying in the meet, it would exit itself therefore making me repeatedly leave the meet. Why does this happen. I tried to troubleshoot, uninstall, even connect to the browser version via phone but its still the same.
I'm experiencing the same issue with most in the recent reviews. I tried everything to fix the problem. I uninstalled then reinstalled, cleared data and cache and I'm close to reseting my phone. I can't open the app. It keeps on returning back to home menu. Please address this issue. We need this for our online class. Also, you know that this issue cannot be fixed with what you are replying but you keep on repeatedly suggesting it.
Before using this app , it's good smooth entering the class stable experience but then as time passes by I already encountered delays entering the meetings,waiting for the set up but then it turns back plainly white . Please fix this app. I'm so disappointed and very worried because I have a class reporting today but then I cannot get in due to bugs happening in this app. Hope you would able to respond quickly to my issue with regards to this application. Thank you!
Meet works absolutely fine for me. The updates bring in new features which are amazing. I would like to suggest to make some improvements in the form of features available in desktops or laptops should also be made available in mobile phones since it has become the widely used device nowadays. Hope to see the improvement soon. Thanks
Doesnt even open. Used to be a semi replacement for classes during COVID. Now utterly useless. How could one of the largest tech companies in the world mess up a simple app so badly it doesnt even open. I have seen countless reports stating the same problem and apparently no one is giving a s***. Well, goodbye I guess. And dont even bother with the "send us an email" or "use report function" if problem persists. It does persist and u know exactly what it is. So FIX IT.
It is still horrible since it is not allowed to record any session while we use the free version. Besides that, it is almost impossible to play the videos while we are sharing our screens since they get stuck!!! Even though subscribed plan there are no remote and full supports. It is quite terrible!!
I am really disappointed with the latest update for the app. What changes did you made recently? I could not join a meet - it said I couldnt connect to a video call. So I tried to update, reboot my device, use wifi and data, clear cache, uninstall the app and reinstall. Now the app won't even open at all on my smartphone. Nothing wrong with my hp setting. And tried with another smartphone too. And lastly I have visited your link for troubleshooting. Nothing works. Could not open apps at all.

It keeps crashing. Keeps disconnecting. Doesn't present screen. The icon for screen sharing/ presenting disables itself. FIX THE ISSUE GUYS. I'm a professor.. it's difficult to conduct lectures w/o my PDFs being shared
App doesn't work. It simply will not open. This started happening in past 2 weeks after the app update. I have tried everything - like reinstalling the app, clearing cache and resetting app data as per Google support's suggestions on similar reviews. And it doesn't work. All of them have tried it too, I hope - but it doesn't work. @Google Support - Please take a serious look at this issue. Don't just copy paste standard. We can not submit request/feedback in the app as app doesn't remain open.
Constant disconnects and audio issues. Never seen an app with this bad of issues in those catagories. I can't talk despite allowing microphone access, and when I can, no one can hear me. And as soon as the app has been closed for more than 5 minutes, I get kicked out of any meeting I'm in. I don't want to play micromanager multitask with this app just to stay in the meeting.
In order to be specific regarding to your respond earlier. Well, as a online class student right now, I've experienced a lot of problems and issues using the Meet App (both in my cellphone and personal computer) in the past few days such as automatically crashing from the app, heavy and too much lagging, and most especially unexpected errors (such as keeping me got "Disconnected", during I have a meet session) for NO reason, even my Internet/Wifi connection is in better and proper condition...
I don't know what happened in this app, before it was working so fine but after some months, it crashes everytime I open the app, and now I can't attend my online class. I kept re-installing and restarting the app but it still kept crashing… Please fix that bug, thank you.
I experience no problems besides lag. It would be nice if you could lower the quality of the video being shared to your own personal preference. And you could pause the video being broadcasted to reduce lag if you're not listening because of something and you are still present in the meeting. And there's this weird thing that says I have a video but I don't. It's a thing on my profile when in a meeting and only I can see that option. But I looked at my friend's POV and I'm not doing anything
Way back then I really like this app, it's really convenient to use and easy to operate but apparently I can't even open it anymore. It's just automatically go back to my home screen after tapping it. I already try to clear cache and data, I even try to reinstall it but it just won't work. I also try to reformat my phone a while ago. Please fix this problem, please. Thank you.
1. It's a beautiful app and easy to navigate. Although, I wish there's a delete option for In-Call Messages. It's quite inconveniencing being unable to delete a message when there's an error. 2. I do not like the fact that I'm unable to make a call whilst using the app as doing so would kick you out of the meeting and in the process, you also miss out on all the in-call messages posted. 3. Why can't meetings be recorded for subsequent access. I'd appreciate if all of this is reviewed. Thanks.
I love this app. Me and my friends use it to play jackbox or watch YouTube together. The screen sharing feature is cool. And you Don't have to pay money to have meetings as long as you want! All you need is a Google account. The whiteboard is also fun to play with. And the captions are cool too, as I like reading what I hear. Probably my favorite app to use for calls!
I've tried so many ways to fix this one issue. Everytime i try to join a google meet whether its a link or typing in the code, it just crashes and doesn't work. Even my classmates has the same issue!! Obviously this is a very bad issue. Plus i don't even think you care about the feedbacks people give. I read reviews and saw that other people has the same issue aswell. Please fix this issue. Or we might have to use zoom meetings for our classes.
