The Android version lacks critical features which are in the Apple version. Their marketing and help-docs are misleading since these features aren't available on the web and android, only Apple products (yuck). I upgraded my Buildium account to get this service. However, now I need to buy and haul around an iPad just to use those features. If it wasn't integrated into Buildium I would be going with a different vender.
This app still seems to be in beta status. The photo function is half baked, with constant focus hunting, no controls and therefore over or underexposed images of the property. The final comment disappears as soon as your scroll a little up in the app! But the worst issue: it does not keep any data after the upload process on the phone! I had the issue, that, although the app showed me the upload success message, the data never got through to my employer, so I had to redo the whole inspection!
There's no function to copy notes from previous reports on the android version. Notes don't always sync - have to save first, reopen and type back in. It takes forever to export to PDF - It is quicker to print to pdf on the computer (margins are wrong for printing if done this way). Ocassionally crashes and goes to a black screen - you need to close the app completely and reopen.
Customer support couldn't have responded any faster and been more helpful in resolving the issues having display issues on there devices. Turned out to be something on my company's side that caused the initial problems. We did our first successful inspections on several jobsites yesterday. App worked flawlessly. Thank you again.
first the app was completely set up wrong with all my properties from buildium. then I finally do a test inspection and it tells me it's synced. I finalized the report and it still does not sync to buildium. I'm waiting over a week for a reply about how they're going to fix this.the properties in the wrong folders as mentioned above took over 1 month to correct and I was told I should not use the app until it's fixed. signed up with buildium in April and now I'm wondering is it worth it?!
Great idea. Bad execution. Taking pics is pain, there's no landscape/portrait difference. You can't zoom, flash is iffy. Constantly crashes. Definitely a beta app that got released way too early. Hopefully they fix it because they are miles behind Appfolio.
I have an android phone. We have multiple people using the app from different phones for our properties. I dont understand why i cant add any individual section to an inspection. It is very inconvenient that we can only upload one picture at a time.
My last review was mainly due to user error... Not the most user friendly layout but it's working. The time difference with them being in Australia created a little gap in response time that increased my frustration. However, very helpful once I heard back from them.
Seems like the control over the camera wasn't that good. Formats in a square photo. My flash didn't seem like it was controlled. Pictures were almost black when there was no or little light available. Motorola Z2
It simply does not open the links given. It keeps asking for user and passsword. Plus it drains your battery quickly (the only time it opened the link) and if you end up without battery, not sure if it saves your work
Not working! Haven't used the app for 2 months because sign-in issues. I tried using the app again and still can't log in. When it was working it was very buggy, deleting comments, or completely not showing up.
While this covers every part of an inspection I need, theres no way to create a report from your phone. I've had to create an inspection, save it, login online, go to the inspection, THEN create a report. Not sure if this is due to a glitch after the recent update, but this needs to be fixed. I dont always have access to my computer, and cant wait days to get the inspection reports uploaded to Buildium, like during move out inspections when we are charging for damages.
Most difficult app I've ever worked with. Back to the same problem with launching this app and the connected property for the inspection. TOO MANY BUGS AND PROBLEMS. Don't know if I can get this going in time for the shoot tomorrow Jan 5, 2019.
Not user friendly. The camera somehow is very prone to blue. Not intuitive program at all. Maybe they should have asked a photographer / user.
This app is inbelievably frustrating. Doesnt show when email goes thru or not, always seems to need to "upload" so u literally have to sit and wait. Cant WAIT til my company changes which app we use. Ugh
Terrible. I've tried this app on 2 tablets and one phone. Barely works. No photo capabilities on tablet. Every time I try to take a photo app crashes.
Android and iPhone app are different from each other. Few hoops to get the type of report I want the 1st time. Otherwise this is a seamless integrated platform.
Best platform for any type of inspection! Incredible customer service with all of their associates. Apple has NOTHING on the people behind this product. After all, it works and it's not made in China 🇺🇸💯😷
Won't send my inspections to the system they just stay in my phone. Tried on the wifi, and pn mobile data and it wont sync over to our system
I would highly recommend, this is very user friendly and gives me exactly what I need!!! I actually love to go out now and do my inspections! I am Happy :) to Inspect!!!
This app is absolute garbage. Only works about half of the time. I would never use it if I wasn't required to for work.
Is this compatible with a note 20 ultra? I cannot get it to work with my phone. Do you have an update available? I get error 404
The tech support guys are the greatest ever, but this work app makes my phone do strange stuff.
App has too many glitches, still mandated to use this app for work. Your app does not out shine, pen and paper.
not sending to employee even though I get a confirmation on my phone. Takes sometimes an hour to load.
I'm pretty sure it deleted everything that was suppose to be saved after completing my inspection.
Would be nice if it could work as effective on Android phones like it does on Apple.
Neither the app nor the website is user-friendly at all. There's no video or instructions showing you how to get the very best usage out of this product and there's plenty blank space on each page. Bought it as an add-on to Buildium and I'm very disappointed at this point because their website works so well. The app on Android when first opened it gives me a blank page with no info. I don't think I'll be renewing after the first month.
