HappyCow Restaurant Guide FULL

This is a great app if you're vegetarian or vegan. However, there is currently no way to add a missing place within the app - you have to go to the website to do so which is a big pain. I've been to plenty of veg/vegan places that aren't currently listed on happy cow and would happily add them if it is easier. But as it isn't, I don't bother which means that the app is incomplete and never has a comprehensive list of all the g99d vegan / vegetarian spots in a given place

Amazing app! Been using it for a few years and have relied on it heavily when in areas I don't frequent. Great customer service too. I love the option to specify whether you're looking for a vegetarian, vegan or omni restaurant (w/ vegan options), so it can be easier to eat out with omni friends.

This app used to be great. However more recently it is filled with meaty restaurants whose idea of a vegan meal is a plate of chips fried in animal fats. And often times missing places with genuine veg/an options. There needs to be more control over who can submit themselves as a veg/an restaurant, and it should be mandatory for these meaty restaurants to provide more information about there food and seperation if they want to advertise within your app.

I've been using this app for years to find healthy meals when I travel. It's been great for the US, Canada, France, Italy, England, Ireland, Scotland, and more. I'm vegan (and gluten-free), but was often traveling with meat eaters and vegetarians who love cheese. ALL those options can be found with HappyCow. Best $5 I ever spent.

The only go to app to add favorite veg restos or plan for future veg friendly restos for any trip ! I love that it shows you all restaurants or markets/stores categorized form vegan only to offers vegan options. Makes planning with others easy as well :) ! Hope this app's community continues to grow! The more pics and reviews the better!

I love this app! It works so well everywhere I go. Was recently in rural illinois and this app found the only vegan restaurant for hundreds of miles. Great for vegetarian and veg options too. I bought the paid version because I wanted to support the makers of this app as it is excellent!!

This app is incredibly useful. Whether planning a trip or just need to find vegan food nearby in a pinch, Happy Cow is always my first go-to over Google, Yelp, etc. The categories are helpful for narrowing down, the app version is super easy to use, and being able to read actual reviews from other vegans is super valuable in deciding where to go.

Selected an option to show bakery's and it showed me all kinds of random restaurants still. I didn't want to look for bakery items. I wanted to find bakery's. Refunded my purchase immediately. If it's going to cost money, the features need to work accurately.

Hi, I never before wrote a review here, my first time. And it's because it's the best vegan app ever I saw, already more than five years using it (Special when I fly overseas) and always I find places around where to go. Happy Cow is THE BEST. I have a casein allergy and I can't take any chances when it comes to eating out and with the VEGAN only option, I know I can eat safely. I HIGHLY recommend this app to anyone who has allergies, or just wants to find good vegan, vegetarian, or just some "greener" options for dining. I can only give it 5 stars, but, for me, it gets 10 out of 10 Soy Milks!😉

Always one of the first places I look when traveling to an unfamiliar place. It's nice to be able to have a list that you can consult when trying to determine if a place will have food options for my family. Some information could be updated more regularly, but overall we love it!

A great app to find all of the best eateries around. I know there are more vegetarian and vegan places around me which are not in the app. This has been very helpful when visiting other cities that you are not familiar with.

Best thing for vegan and vegatarians. This app has literally gave me more options to eat when I'm out. It is also a really great way to get to know a new place because you have so many options to choose from. An if you find something new you can add it. I have been using it for over a year now and I have no complaints.

So helpful to find vegan options when travelling on holiday or just looking for something a bit different. Also great to hear reviews on places about the thing that matters most - the food I can eat!

you can plan a trip with this app stopping at vegan eateries along the way. I drove from Jacksonville, FL to Colorado Springs eating at Happy Cow suggestions along the way. Great fun and awesome places. We even found a great place in Cozumel while diving.

This app is always the first one I open when I know I'll be eating somewhere new. It's helped me not be hungry from my home town and all the way to Japan. I just wish that you could add missing places via the app (not going to take away a star for that though!)

This app makes traveling as a vegan so much easier! I use it at home also, to keep tabs on new places that open up! Easy to use and has never steered me into a bad meal

The best thing to use when you're travelling and in need of vegan food. Found countless places via this app both in the UK and Poland. Always recommending to friends and customers alike who are interested in vegan eating. Get this on your phone.

Incredibly useful when traveling. Has given me so many culinary adventures. If only more people would review places, then the restaurant ratings might be more accurate.

Had an issue with FB login but after reaching out to the dev got great response and a fix incoming, super happy with their contact and response. The app itself is excellent and has given us some great options so far.

Awesome app! I never eat out anywhere new without checking this first. It is absolutely vital for a vegan. I especially like the map search for the times when you think "where can I eat - right now!

I've found this app really useful while traveling, not so much in my hometown of London as I seem to have more knowledge of restaurants with vegan options than this app. I'm not keen on the new update, I'm currently not getting ANY search results in London and now doesn't seem to work unless I have my GPS on. Why exactly is necessary for them to know where I am? Surely I should just be able to search by town/ city/ borough? What if I'm not in the area I'm trying to research at the time? Sigh...

Great app. I use it everytime I am looking for somewhere to eat. Sometimes doesn't have the correct opening hours which is not suprising and it provides a link to their website so you can check the current hours on the shop's own site to be sure.

I love that this app is also international, this has been a great help when I have traveled to other countries. This app has also grown a lot since I've been vegan and it's been amazing to see and be a part of. I love contributing my reviews and always tell people to download this app.
