Harald: A Game of Influence

*** Terrific Game! Unique scoring conditions take a while to get used to but make the game very interesting. Might take 2-3 plays to ""get into"" but once you get the idea it haunts you and you want to get better at it with each play. -Ricks, Board Game Geek

BE THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PLAYER TO WIN THE KING'S FAVOR:
Harald is a card game of influence and majority. As the head of a village, each player will try to charm the most influential character of the realm to be noticed by the King and win his favor. But to win you will need to think and wisely use the abilities of each character.

LEARN HOW TO USE THE CHARACTERS AND THEIR POWERS!
Each turn, players execute three actions in order:
- play one card in the King's council
- play one card in the player's village
- draw cards to replenish your hand
There are six different characters, each with a different function and power. Discover the Wolf/scout, the Lynx/merchant, the Fox/bard, the Bear/warrior, the Goat/seafarer; the Boar/blacksmith. Discover each character's ability and use them in order to overtake your opponents!
Each animal will give you the ability to make a move at the end of your turn: you can steal cards from your adversary, try to exchange his or your cards with the council in order to play in your favor, return cards to erase their points or just place a good card on the top of the pile! Whatever you choose, decide wisely how to make the most of every move!

SCORE AS MANY POINTS AS YOU CAN!
The goal is simple: get the maximum number of points! In order to win, you need to pay attention to the cards' associations and put together the ones that work best.
At the end of the game, each card in the village of a player counts as many points as the number of times the same card appears in the King’s council. Play smartly in both your village and the council and don't forget to keep an eye on your opponents' villages in order to win.

EXPERIENCE MORE STRATEGY WITH THE BADGER/SCHOLAR!
Discover an exclusive card, which introduces a new character, the Badger/Scholar. This card offers you the possibility of protecting a series of characters in your own village. It makes the game harder for your opponents because if they want to destroy those cards, they will have to attack the Badger/Scholar first if he is present!
FEATURES:
• Solo mode
• Online multiplayer mode: includes a mini chat to share emoticons while playing
• Unlock beautifully illustrated cards based on the original card game

Got stuck in tutorial, had to force close the app to restart the tutorial. Second time same thing happened but later on in the tutorial. I won't attempt a third time. Rules are unreadable, black text on black background. The app obviously hasn't been tested on different screen sizes.

ABSOLUTELY incorrect scoring! I wonder how people play and no one noticed this thing!!!)))) And devs don't test their games anyhow apparently...all this very strange...it may not be "my favourite game" due to this fact at least!!! But the game is very beautiful and has very good music! But wrong scorring kills all the great work done...

Has become my favorite card game. I love the strategy involved. Easy to learn but has a lot of thinking to be good at it. The only things I wish is that the game would auto login if I have already added my Asmodee account and that I could create an async game and then leave the app. There are not a lot of people online playing and I want to play online but I don't want to wait with the tablet open for someone to join. Other than that, the game is fantastic. Beautiful artwork and graphics.

Great game. However, in term of game design, I find it weird that the total of point of the opponent is not displayed: it's very hard to guess if I'm leading or not. Most of the time is spent calculating points of cards that are already in game and public to all the players instead of elaborating strategies. Since cards are all entangled, playing a Single card can affects the total of points a lot, it's hard to recalculate every time and I end up spending an entire game not knowing if I'm playing well or not.

Good game. But goodness, asmodee - no turn notifications for multiplayer, no option to save you log in (necessitating reinputing password every time) and no option to quickly rejoin an existing game? These are basic quality of life UI features.

Awesomely fun game with unique strategy elements. You have two card areas, a "town" and a "counsel." You need to try and create synergy between the two areas by deploying your cards. It is very simple but the strategy beneath it is very deep. A very fun way to pass the time!

What kind of game doesnt auto save current game in progress, even just offline game vs AI, who would invest 30 mins, then lost everything when re-open app
