The more I use the app with my Boom GTS, the more frustrating it becomes. There's no way I can find to send a saved planned ride to the bike, if I export the ride and try to import, it gives me a list of waypoints, treating each as its own ride rather than importing the full ride that was made using the Harley planner. There's also no way to turn media and phone off for the bike while using Android Auto, it keep re-enabling the settings so I can't use maps and my headset for music.

Out of three apps this is the only one that allows the user to setup a custom route, although in a user unfriendly way. The down side is that it is the only one of the three where the voice doesn't temporarily turn down other apps. As such, I'll be listening to music on Spotify loud enough to hear it over wind noise and there is no way I'm hearing the voice navigation.

This app is by far not on par with the bike: - I need to turn the Bluetooth on my phone of and then on otherwise the display will say it's connected but nothing happens. - When connected to the display the navigation on the display freezes when you turn of the phone's screen. - Maps won't load or are too dlow to load. - No possibility to display POUs in a customised way. - No what3words integration (essential for off-road use) - No GPS speed in the display.

This app is a great concept, but needs work in creating routes. Once you select a destination, it calculates it's own route and doesn't allow you to modify it or add waypoints. So, unless you're using the chosen route and riding directly to it, this portion of the app is worthless. The challenges are cool and I like being able to record a ride. App has potential but still needs A LOT of work.

Pretty poor effort. Real issues connecting my pixel 6 Pro, won't connect my headset at all. If you try to avoid motorways, the app totally ignores this and sends you on the motorway, even if the route you planned and can see shows no motorways!? Made even worse by the fact that if you venture off the set route it won't re route you back, that's it, you're lost! Map also disappears and shows blocks. Fuel also refuses to reset quite often showing full tank even when you are running out!unreliable

Just let me sync to Android Auto so I can at least get Google Maps on my Pan America screen. This app is awful. Your maps are unusable. It was a trial and error effort just to get the North America maps downloaded and now they don't even load on my Pan America screen. The maps never load entirely, just bits and pieces. You can't easily create a route OR expect it to actually work. This app adds ZERO value to my ownership experience. It's worthless. I'm a software developer and appalled that you're locking me into this tech that doesn't even work in a basic way. This is a horrible, terrible app.

This app is terrible, when you pay 22k plus for a motorcycle, the Harley locks you into using their app for music and navigation, you expect items like this app to function properly. It does not. The navigation portion is absolutely useless, the maps will not load, the route you plan on your pc will change when you open it in the app. When taking calls the navigation will freeze, and you have to reset the app and cycle the ignition on the motorcycle to get the navigation working again. The app crashes every time you try to download maps.

04/24/22 Decreased another star, can't log into app to join latest challenge. Great Day for a RIDE! 04/09/21 Decreased stars by one due discovered problem. Even when phone is plugged into USB Port, battery on phone is still drained. This needs fixed, long trips my phone's battery will completely discharge though plugged in. Otherwise I like the App.

This is by far one of the worst apps I've ever seen. Impossible to program a trip, every new trip I want to program starts off in Berlin, but I live in Florida so why is Berlin the default starting point? Also nothing from the app seems to connect to my bike. It shows zero rides, but I ride every single day. My app for my GMC truck runs perfectly and I can send trips from the phone to the truck! But this app for Harley-Davidson doesn't do anything for my bike & I can't send anything to the bike!

Like others are nothing the app doesn't work well consistently. The maps need serious work. It seems like it would of just been simpler to just use the apple / android platforms that most modern cars use. I would use Google maps any day Over the current map set up in the app.

Map locks up half the time and Bluetooth music drops out to my headset most of the time all running throw IM sys ,everything up to date for software , reloaded HD app twice did not help, The Pan American bike sys pretty bad for a new bike ,my phone is a Samsung 4g sys and works great when paired to headset ,which is a Cardo black sys .

Maps are very often not loading to my Pan America Special, and the bike's screen is often laggy/not updating. So there's nothing but a ride line to follow amidst grey/white squares and instructions often come too late. Great.. exactly what you'd expect from a premium brand -not-.

The latest update took away the ability to filter the ride I want to send to my bike (i.e. avoid tolls, avoid highways) It will only filter when you use the phone map. Unless I am missing something, this makes this app totally worthless to me.

Worst nav app out there! I hate that this is the only app that works with my $27K Harley Davidson Pan America 1250s because This Navigation app is very disappointing for what I expect from Harley Davidson! No ride analytics! Maps hardly ever works or shows on infotainment system. we want voice updates of elevation gained, time on road, distance traveled etc. I suggest adding a whole bunch of features like calimoto nav app.

Constantly losing connection with phone makes the gps unusable. Routes that you painstakingly programmed into the app are ignored by gps once you start said route... Needs A LOT of work. Come on HD! This app does not do justice to the 25k bike it's supposed to connect to...

Recent update seems to try and connect to the bike consistently and drains the battery at an unacceptable rate. Had to Uninstall else it would drain the battery in less then 12 hours. Without it I get a day and a half.

Laptop:Enter start point on map at HD Rideplanner, enter destination, right click mouse to add waypoints, name ride, hit Save. Bike:Open Navigation, open app on cellphone and hit Profile to find Saved rides, hit Send to Bike, accept new ride on Bike Nav. If route changes on bike it's because of Preference settings in bike Nav. Go back to HD RidePlanner on laptop, hit Edit, add Waypoints or Destinations to force the map you want then go back and send it to the Bike again. Go Harley!

Doesn't work with Pan America. Worked great with my street glide. With the Pan, map won't load. Some people have told me the hd app has to be open on the phone to work on the pan since it's using the GPS from the phone, which defeats the purpose. I want it to work I don't want too resort to mounting a Garmin.

App constantly crashes when trying to download offline maps. And refuses to load map data into 2022 sportster s. Have deleted app, cleared cache and tried again, will not work. Hot. Garbage.

Does not even run after setting up and linking phone to bike. The app constantly crashes and I can't use it at all. I have a modern phone with Android 12. Really a shame this app is holding my $28K bike from doing what I paid for it to do.

The app is ok at best. I like that I can upload and download rides. But come on, this app is 100% geared to the U.S... We need better support for Canada. Other than putting in my own rides, uploading and download my rides, any other app is better.

Updating review again... Newest issues are: unable to put in a destination by searching, you MUST locate it and use the + button. Avoid Highway and unpaved roads does nothing. It stayed with the default route it first found. If you move about the map, the final destination changes to where ever the cross/selection circle is sitting.

app has glitches and maps will pause for no reason, will still show you moving but directions will stop as will next turn, distance, time etc. not great when using to follow a route

I was looking for scenic routes and rides in my area. This seems to include just local events and dealership promotional outings.

0-1 on rides so far. Started the ride record and was out for about 40 minutes. The app only recorded the first 10 minutes and three miles. At this rate I'll have to ride a thousand miles to book 120. Oh and for some reason it won't recognize the VIN on my heritage.

Absolutely the worst app I have ever used. Doesn't let you close out and the GPS is garbage. You select your route options and it ignores them. This is trash and Harley should be ashamed. It's no wonder you continue to lose money.

Update wiped credentials . THATS an unneccessaru PITA... An inplace update should continue to use established credentials. Did you wipe them out during installation or are you creating a new profile and what about the old version data left over? Is it deleted, or just another orphan file?

For a 2022 piece of technology this app is pretty terrible. The map portion of the app is the worst. Please fix that and make it user friendly. Why not upload a map to the app like every other type of GPS unit. Have had problems connecting a d even when I do the app won't calibrate correctly and therefore is useless. Pretty underwhelmed for being 2022 and apps made a decade ago work much better. Please fix this quick.
