I hate that I have to take 5 minutes every time I need to log in. Even if I select to remember my device it will not. Also wish I could check my rewards in app, but I can't.
No major issues with the app itself. It's a bit slow, laggy and unappealing but I don't want anything more than functional. Update THEY TOOK MONEY FROM THE WRONG ACCOUNT!!! Hahaha fail. Get better.
The login experience is frustrating as it never remembers my device. I would also like to be able to view my rewards points in-app. Update: Moved to 4 stars due to fingerprint scan increasing ease of access. Update: The app is broken again. Will consistently freeze at login screen. It's just not smooth or user friendly. Moving to 1 star, tired of not being able to move from the login screen, none of the buttons will work.
The old one worked! This one keeps asking for the username, security question, then password. There is no reason to go through all 3 every time. The old one would accept a fingerprint login but this one wont. I hope you didn't waste money making this because it doesn't work very well. The alerts to my phone stopped working when you made this change also.
Despite choosing "remember this device" and despite choosing to only occasionally ask for the secret question, I am forced to fully log in every single time I open the app, even if it's only been 10 seconds since I logged out. Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra, Android 12.
This app is horrible. I can log in to my other US bank account but not this one. Have talked to customer service and deleted and reinstalled the app 3 times now and once even shut the phone off after deleting it and then reinstalled. I cannot look at balances or pay bill online. That will eventually force me to cancel the card. There are numerous people having the same issues. I think it would be a good idea for US bank to get this resolved.
Don't know why there is as screenshot of a fingerprint login when there isn't a fingerprint login option. Unless it's buried so deep in this app that it can't be found. Aside from that I have all the same issues as everyone else that's rated this app. Why try to fix what wasn't broken. So until you add fingerprint log in for this app it's going to be an unusable app. Once you're finally in the app after the 10 step login process there are some good features. Hence the 2 stars.
Can't log in unless I change my password every month. Have fingerprints log in enabled but will not let me use it. Have to call prompt. WILL NOT CALL THAT IS WHY I WANT TO USE APP. Need to fix asap.
The rewards part of the app has never been easy ... but now it just spins non-stop. Can't access our rewards. Don't even try to use them real time! Cost us $500 at the dealer because the app wouldn't work real time, so we had to pay without getting to use the rewards. What's the point if you can't use them?! Take lessons from Capitol One, AmEx, etc. on ease of using rewards!
Button to remember this device and it never does. Download statements and the files are corrupted and won't open. Not happy with the app at all. Other than being able to check balances and make online payments the rest is useless. I've given the app time in the hopes of corrections but nothing has changed.
Terrible, basic, antiquated app. Garbage quite frankly. Other than just checking a balance, this app is useless. You can't even change your password. Then other thing about this card & US Bank is that it's The Worst rewards program in existence. Too restrictive, have to redeem points in set increments (so they force you to always have un-useable points that You Earned), and just lousy redemption quality. Every time I've redeemed points I had major problems both redeeming & using at a dealership.
Can't even get it to set up.this app is garbage. VISA!!!! This app is dragging you down. Wow...now I'm forced to leave at least one star. Hopefully one day we can leave 0 or negative 0
The app used to be great. Last month it stopped working. The only way to login is if you restart the device.
The app gives me a login error every time I try to log in. Fire your app developer and get someone that can make a basic bank app work. Update: H-D thought they could do a better job than US Bank. They were only partially right. The app works reliably now, however it saves nothing. I have to enter my username, answer a security question, then enter my password every time. No biometric login. No convenience. It's no better than the website at this point. Uninstalling, using website. I'm done.
Could it get worse? This app was fine until they decided to change some protocol with the bank. Took away the fingerprint log in and the security questions make it impossible for me to log in without resetting my password. Not happy. Makes me want to avoid using the card so I don't have to deal with the app or the website.
Rewards page doesn't work. Just keeps spinning. Usbank app is terrible and the login process is frustrating with questions and keywords to remember. I've gone back to Chase and won't be using this account anymore solely off of the useless app and terrible login process. Good riddance.
Can't use the app half the time, and when I can I have to go through the whole security process each login. It doesn't remember my device, so what's the sense of having an app on your phone. The old app worked.
Better off managing your acct through U.S Bank app or website. This app constantly crashes used to be ok but everytime I log on it crashes and won't open. I even get notifications when I am not using it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. **Samsung Note 9**
Horrible! I have never reviewed an app before, but this one needs caution. Like others, never any problem with the US Bank app. Now my card has been removed from there and I have to deal with this garbage. From signing in onward, nothing about this app works. I am stuck with it, though, as I have no other access to my card information. Deleting the app doesn't bring my card back to the US Bank app. I will not be using this card any longer. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app!
This app is trash, it will not let you log in, and if youre lucky enough for that, it crashes. Just go straight to the US bank app, much more user friendly, and if you have a problem the customer service is 24/7 very friendly.
Really bad. Locks up requires a reboot. Triple verification. So your fingerprints is good, you know your user ID, now answer all the security questions, okay got that right now enter user ID and password. Bingo, finally in, but wait the payments I made yesterday not here, no pending payments, still owe future payment I already made. This is US Bank by the way. PC version isn't much better.
I uninstalled this app because it locked me out... that was over a year ago... don't you read your reviews? apparently not because people are still writing about the same problems... when the app worked it was a nice tool to have... why won't you fix the problems?!!!!!!!! why are you apologizing on 6/25/19 like this just happened... this has been going on over a year... how long does it take to fix... sounds like your programmer needs to be reprogrammed
Can't log in. It asks a security question I didn't fill out on the site, therefore there is no answer. When pushing the button the app tells you to push to fix the issue, it gives an error screen. No problems with the iOS app.
The US Bank app worked better than this. This app does not let you use biometric log in nor does it remember you, you have to log in over and over. Username, security question (even after you click to remember this device), and then to password... EVERYTIME. And for some reason HD Visa is no longer on US Bank??? So this card is not recognized by Acorns for Round Ups either. Even though the app looks nice, this is just another shot in the foot from HD.
Hate it. This is a terrible app. Signing on is a nightmare. My app does not update transactions for days. Surely, U. S. Bank is not that slow at processing transactions.
