Harry's LapTimer Rookie
LapTimer offers more than 750 predefined racing tracks world wide. With its assistants, it is extremely easy to setup
- just click your track and drive. It fully automates your lap timing using GPS, and presents the results to all kinds of media.
You are not limited to track driving. For example, you may define your home and working locations as a 'track', collect statistics on different ways chosen, and analyze / optimize the time used every day.
Want to show your drive to your friends? Recorded data can be analyzed using purpose designed views, making it easy to analyze and improve your driving performance. This includes several export formats including Google Earth.
Using online racing, you can use LapTimer in competition. LapTimer offers a Hall of Fame, allows watching you and your friends on track
- all in real time. Compare your sector times, braking / acceleration points, and learn from each other.
You can start with your plain smartphone in the beginning and add external GPS and OBD II sensors later, step by step, and as you need it. LapTimer currently comes as "LapTimer Rookie"
- the entry level with all you need for lap timing; it is upgradable to LapTimer Petrolhead from within the app. LapTimer Petrolhead includes lots of video features as well as advanced sensor and analytics functionality.

Well, I didn't get too far setting this up. Went to Define User, then Vehicle, but Make only scrolls down to 'Nissan', no further. I guess I either have to buy a different car or a different app.
Does not currently work for me on Android 10 on pixel 2, crashes and will not open, have tried reinstalling and different versions
Doesn't read OBD2 sensors. (Other apps can work the same adapter). Waste of money.
Huge waste of money. Didn't work at all. Wouldn't log times.
i purchased the grandprix version and when i changed my device i cant re-download it

It's powerful but the UI is really confusing and hard to navigate.
I had to reinstall my phone- I can't see my upgrade to petrolhead I purchased through the app. How do I get my upgrade back??
Harry has wonderful customer service and actually looks into troubleshooting his app when things get funky and weird. I appreciate his efforts in such a wonderful app and the constant updates!! Thank you Harry!

Loving the new Harrys Laptimer v18 for android. Answered all our prayers with the new "Gap" View mode!
Bugs have been fixed. Still lacks full functionality of the iPhone versions and the interface in clunky. You will have to search the forums to find out how to do stuff, but I finally got ODBII and video overlay working. :)
This is the best! Such good video.
I autocross. Using a Galaxy S9 & OBDLink LX, I get no useful data. The times are very wrong and the course map is useless. I suppose that I need a $150 external GPS.
