Hashnote

It has a solid basis but still lacks basic tasks. Very easy and quick tagging system that I don't find in many note taking apps. But copy pasting single notes and deleting notes is one of the main turn off. It's the app that I've been looking for but still not there yet. I'm looking forward for the next updates.

User-friendly interface, easy to get use to and overall a nice design and a neat idea. So it's a shame that it doesn't seem to sync properly between my tablet and phone. Another problem is when I start the app after my device has been powered off for a while, not all the hash tags and notes load.

Started ESO (late to the party) and like to keep a notebook alongside (things to go back to, stuff to look up etc). Downloaded this app primarily for the hash tag system - easy to add categories as you go, able to narrow down one hash tag category with further tags. Seems to work well with a filtering system perfect for what I wanted. Two gripes: can share links from one source to the app fine but need to copy/paste to get them back out of it. Also would like to toggle whether to view or edit a note.

Using hashtags provides great functionality especially since the searching becomes lot easier. But the app crashes a lot while syncing and while navigating through the app! Bugs include the widget not showing newly added notes, the confusing color coding,etc. Hope this feedback helps and the problems are fixed soon..

I over the simplicity and convenience of the app. Has a few bugs to be fixed before I can put my money down to remove ads. (1) Random force closes (2) Sync not working as per timestamp (takes older content from one device and writes over newer content in other). Also, without losing simplicity of the widget, might be worthwhile to add feature of writing a note in the widget - if possible

It does what you need it to do, with simplicity, yet it is powerful enough to be used however you see fit. Just make sure you sync and / or export regularly, there is a lot of confusion about what, where, how the app syncs, and where your data is, there is nothing explained regarding this functionality. ** I changed to five stars because despite slight flaws there is nothing as useful and simple as this app. The data backs up into my Google Drive backup. I am frustrated that this app is not more popular.

Very good app, I love the idea of hash tagging notes and being able to sort them so easily. The only downside is I lost my old phone with all my notes and could not recover due to no account being made or cloud sync for thus app. Please fix!!! Can't use knowing I could lose all the notes I create so easily.

This is the best notes app I've ever seen: no folders, just hashtag-categories, simple as hell! P.S. Many apps suggest me rating them almost immediately, this one even doesn't have a link in settings - think this is your one little drawback :D

As I'm so used to hashtags this App is just perfect, if you're not used to them, no problem: you will learn quickly an probably you will like it. It keep everything organized.

Since tags are inline, notes build up fast. Just type what you are thinking and then click on the #hashtags to filter, thereby summarizing thoughts with same subject together. Best of all I like the random colors of the #hashtags which adds a whole dimension to plain text.

Color coding is messed up.. Assigns same color to different categories, and changes the color assigned in editing stage when it appears on the final list. Task list becomes confusing. Please fix this and/or give option to assign personal colors to each task/category.

It's a great app and it's filling my needs wonderfully, but the ability for the web client to edit my notes, and a way to "clear" all currently selected tags would be great.

I love it, really. It is what I want - simple, impecable, simpler and flawless. But there is one thing I don't like - sometimes people need to share or copy their notes on something else, a document, facebook status, a sms, or something. How in the world to do that if there is no possibility to copy paste or share?!?! (I know about export option but it copies ALL of your notes). Pls, devs, I beg of you, just add the possibility to select the text and click copy so that I can paste it wherever I want.

The best user-friendly and smoothly running app I have encountered in the past years. Recommended!

Rally like the idea of organising things with hash tags. Would be perfect if each note also had the date it was created as well.

Simplify the widget UI and add the ability to delete notes (or make that function more obvious, as I can't seem to find it).

But widget does not update when you make changes. Currently, the list on the widget screen is different to the list in the app and I last amended yesterday. Great idea and concept but this needs sorting.

All it needs is a feature complete webapp. Automatic tagging when creating many notes at once would be lovely if it fits with the way the Dev wants this app to go.

Simply put its an amazing modern day take on organizing notes. It's an absolute must have for those of us who use Twitter/instagram and are familiar with hash tags

Sync does not work anymore, old notes come back. Old versions too.

I have to manually backspace a note clear it. Otherwise pretty good.

I was looking for something simple and quick to take notes with tagging capabilities, this one is by far the best. The random color coding makes for pretty and easily distinguishable tags without the need to spend all the extra time manually changing colors. It's just, wow. It's great. Edit: you should add a way to make photo notes.

Just cannot do without this wonderfully minimalistic gem of an app. Hats off to Ryan and his team

If only more applications allowed this kind of free-form data management. Great implementation, including quick-access widget!

But it's too easy to delete hashnotes... Whenever I swipe from left to right to choose a category, I end up deleting notes...

This was a great app, but it seem to have been abandoned, crashing and broken syncing.

Generally loving this app but missing few features. Most important is sync between devices and can't rearrange notes. Rearranging feature is real deal breaker for me. Using draft until this feature is available.

Does not show notes, when multiple hashtags are selected. Inconsistent highlighting of a hashtag during typing. Import procedure shows unclear messages.

exactly what i was looking for. needed something simple that was straightforward and not overburdened with features. this app is user friendly & easy to use. export, import & syncing of notes is supported as well, which is something i deem a useful set of features.
