I really miss when this game give us second line up. Its really annoying to change the players everytime.
The best football manager game in the Play Store. The details in this managing game is just outstanding. I mean, you can actually feel what it's like to be a manager. Well, at least for me. But like the other games, it still got room for improvements. For starters, how about adding a loaning system? Or how about the ability to do swap player with other manager? I got a lot more but I think this should be implemented first. I'm not forcing tho. I'm just suggesting. Anyway, keep it up guys.
Unable to create a team. Fill in all fields and can't progress because next button is greyed out.
No idea how to change players when setting a lineup. Works very well on laptop, but the app is too complex in its current form.
I come back with some info.s after 6 months of playing this game.I played this game if I remember good from 2001 till 2006.I deleted it(without any regrets)..I started to play again last July...still so hard to understand why I have the better players and still loosing...with new stuff like form or the shape whatever its called my best player, despide i.m playing him 90 min/week it.s going down. next strategy. delete the game without any feeling. it was just a 2 days/ week 5 min/day game.
A great companion app to the slow-paced, awesome football strategy game, Hattrick. If you're into full yolo action, this is not for you, but if you like carefully implementing your long-term stategy on and off the pitch, you will love it. The app has most of the features you need to manage your team on the go, but for some more in-depth tweaking, like managing your Youth Academy effectively, you'll need to use the web version.
Overall ok app, though it still has not convinced me to not use the website. There just too many features in HT to cram into an app. I only use it for live viewing, which is so-so. It does not properly refresh the detail screen of a match so during the match I usually have to kill the app a dozen times. The live match ratings also disappear at random times. Chat is a nice feature, but sometimes when I post the post disappears and I have to retype it. Annoying.
Great games, solid app. New app definitely an upgrade over the previous version but has some annoying bugs (at least for me) when setting the formation - e.g. when I put a player as extra sub, it automatically removes him from 2nd CD sub spot and vice versa(?!), also sometimes closes the player selection menu when I'm trying to choose a player for the position which is really annoying. Otherwise it's a solid and improved app.
It's ok. The game used to be much better than it is. Unfortunately, the developers have come to believe that bells and whistles are more important than the core game. As a result, they have added a random essay factor that allows even the worst teams to beat the best teams on a fairly regular basis creating much frustration. It's still fun most of the time but the absurd level of "luck" undermines the basic tenets of the game - that long term planning to build a strong team pays off.
The app gives problems constantly. The main menu button disappears, during the setup of the squad picking up a player sometimes the app doesn't respond, when selecting the age in the search filter in the transfers it takes a year to react, etc... I'm using a 2020 Redmi Note, so it can't be my phone as I was having similar problems in my previous phone.
Good. but can be improved to allow more features like seeing total TSI
Worst football management game in history, not only is it boring as hell but the tactics and training is lacklustre at best. You waste your time buying young players and selling them for money, your youth players are awful and will never make the first team squad. It is like managing a Sunday league football team, where your performance is based on how many beers the lads had the night before.
After updates fixed setting up your squad, this is great, way better than the old version (problem seems to come and go with updates). Still have to use computer to change a coach for example, but that's nitpicking. This is a good app, I play 99% of my HT using it.
Worked OK until few month ago.. since then, everything is zoom in and cant see it corectly on my phone. I waited for an update thinking maybe they will fix it... but nope, is not fixed and cannot be played.
It works well, to an extent. Some days you can't set formations with it. Some days it just crashes. Furthermore, I would appreciate the tools to see my overall tsi and that of opponents on the player's page like the webpage. 3 star because i still have to go use my pc to complete some little bits. Cheers.
It's a game that I play for more than 14 years on pc. The app is welcomed as it extends the game play to platforms that did not existed when the game was launched. The game, as any football manager, requires a lot of patience, but IT'S NOT PAY TO WIN. It requires just dedication and a bit of luck. Totally recommended.
I have been playing hattrick since 2006 and back then the community on the site was brilliant and I paid a sub for years. Then people started leaving and the forums and interaction with other players went poor, as the forums are, I think, a massive part of the game due to the slow game progress. Beware that if you do not log in regularly, you will lose your team. I recently lost my team that I had since 2006 so that really sucked. The app helps with keeping up appearances and has improved a lot.
I use the app occasionally to check results or set a lineup if I cannot access the desktop version. It works well, but definetly better on desktop. Game is slow, but still fun after 10 years... takes years to build a good team, but that is part of the appeal.
By far the best football Manager simulator out there. The large community and the amount of functions make it very enjoyable. It has some pay-for features but they are more to improve the experience of the game and gives some advantages in the "managing" part however it does not give any advantages in the game itself. Definitely not a pay to win type of game.
This game is old fashioned, did not keep up to speed with app modernization. But I would not quit because of that. I have always grown my team, steadily increasing the TSI in each position, and making my team stronger. But it does not matter because results are completely random, for sure if you're not a supporter at least. I ve been playing for >10 years and today I quit. You can reply with a polite message that you are sorry, or try really hard to make the experience of playing worth.
Played this years ago and recently found it again whilst looking for a decent manager sim for my phone. Whilst I no longer have the time to run player spreadsheets it's still a fun and challenging game to play against others on the free version but you will need the premium features to get the most out of it and be really successful.
HT have recently reset the app reviews to boost star rating. The game itself is amazing and well worth investing the time in, albeit the supporter pricing is astronomical. The app however is still a much lighter version of the game and needs to be remedied much quicker than it is. We are 6-7 years in and still well off a like for like game (app vs webpage). The app is useful for a quick oversight and chat but in terms of gameplay search the web for the main desktop game version.
Used to be a gold member back around 2007 ish for some time. But the price now is just far too high, I would like to play a second team but the platinum pricing does not justify the content.. It is a shame as would like to make support by paying to use the game, there is a few other I know that used to be members but canceled as the price went up but the content didn't really justify the newer pricing. Other than this it is a great game, even for free to play.
The slow pace of the game works like magic and forces you to really think about your long-term goals. The game offers great weekly routines that become a joy to wait for while transfer market also provides some fast-pace action and a chance to spend more time within the game. The app is still catching up the desktop version but is becoming more and more useful.
I play this game for about 17 years and I still like 2 things: 1. You don't need to buy anything in the game in order to be on top. Everyone has a fair chance 2. The community that grew up with the game is mainly still there. It became smaller and this is the trend I don't like: 1. The engine because it is strange and I saw a lot of issues with it. When the game started 20 years ago, the engine was much cleaner and the ratings as well 2. Economy is not open(future coaches) 3. Tactics
This is not a game that you play for like 3 or 4 months. I used to play this game for 5 years around 17 years ago (this game has been around since like the beginning of the internet days) , and thanks to Covid lockdowns I am now back. The challenge is long term - like years to get to the very top. Which makes sense because it is very much like reality. Success is not easy and you have to work hard to develop a training stategy to win games. The more time you invest the better.
If you not buy Supporter pack they will block your account at a moment. In my case they invented a reason, after almost 2 years of playing the game, exactly when I promoted first time to a higher league, they said I have creater another parallel account. I asked around on some forums and lot of users told me that without buying supporter this is happening, they will block your team... it has no reason to block players accounts because they did not pay.
