It all began when a suspicious little old stranger turned up in the countryside. The local undertaker traded his family heirloom for an Amulet of Prosperity and soon afterwards a once-peaceful fishing village transformed into a nightmarish landscape as the recently buried rose from their graves!

Game was fun and interesting. I liked the puzzles. Make sure to use your map to know where to go next. Was able to complete all chapters including bonus by completing free offers - you have to interact with the downloads a little (I.e. play for a few minutes), then kill both apps. Restart the game, works fine.
Excellent value at only a dollar for several hours of gameplay. Map works but some glitches. You can tap the right thing and have it not work until you get it just right. You can enlarge all screens which is fantastic. I'm playing on 10" tablet and even with enlarging having trouble getting the sweet spot sometimes. There is also a backup of match three if you have trouble with HOs. I found that more helpful than usual. Overall I'd give it four stars. Definitely worth playing, and paying at this price.
Love the game , graphics and storyline is awesome. I have played a few of your games .but i dont like when you say free and not free demo and i ran out of your apps to download for free chapters . So i paid to finish this one but honestly its a short game to pay for , and i play other awesome games were you only have to watch ads and it's truly free when they say it's free . And they don't make you download nothing but their game and game is alot longer. Your games are awesome and fun but way to short to pay for a game .
The area to press is too small. Several times I knew I had the right tool but had to press more than 5 times to get it to work. A screwdriver should be placed on screws... but in one scene I had to touch an exact tiny spot near the center of the screen to get it to work. I lived the story and the minigames were fun but not really challenging.
It was fun, it was decently long, and you can play the whole thing for free as long as you download one of their offers, which you can delete right after anyways. It seemed kinda old, like the graphics and the way the game was set up made it seem like it was a game that hadn't been worked on recently. It has a bonus chapter as well. It's definitely worth playing if you're into these types of games. Good job alawar :)
One of the best games I have played on play store in a long time, really addictive. Mini games are a little confusing at first but I got the hang of it, just not boring tapping items or can play a bejeweled kind of mini game. Bought the upgrade, not disappointed.
The storyline and graphics were good. The controls drove me crazy, as there was frequently an item under the task button or the inventory list. Some puzzles were frustratingly hard. Don't like HOG's, a good point and click game doesn't have them. The game is quite short, even with the bonus chapter. Loading the screens always took very long.
I like that you have the option to download apps for free chapters. Usually the options are games I don't want but after getting the credit (works right away after just 1 minute of playing new app), I simply uninstall.
One of the better games of this kind. Varying degrees of difficulty figuring out what to do next and how to do it. It was satisfyingly long. Took me a few days to finish at my leisure. I didn't want to rush it but to savor it. Definitely worth the money. It is what I have come to expect from Alawar. Keep up the good work.
Uploaded three different advertised bad games trying to gain next chapter. Nothing. Back to main screen and eating up data and storage in the process. Not worth the 99 cents, at this point it's just made me to irritated to mess with it.
It's okay. I like the graphics, but there wasn't much of a storyline. Too much back and forth for me and the games weren't very challenging. But, it was free and you can download (and uninstall) other games/ apps to continue playing, instead of having to buy a game that, to me, want even WORTH the $3 I would have had to pay!
I like the game so far, not to hard so far, I have finished the game it was a good story, but he ran off in the end so it really never ended,so we did a second part got the little guy saved the wife which the guy kidnapped. All in all it was fun
The game is good. Found that when you tap on something it doesn't always work, so it causes confusion. Also, the notebook and hint globe are too close togethor so sometimes when you want to open the notebook/map you end up hitting the hint globe instead.
Strange little man running ahead wreaking havoc, hip hop monkey, zombies, teleportation map, sparkles if you want them and a bonus chapter. Surprise puzzles with no instructions. Overall the game was entertaining. Lost one star for lack of touch sensitivity.
Game has all the right elements: grisly supernatural storyline, puzzles, HO searches, a map for quick travel, etc. But nothing is well thought out: objects are needed for no apparent reason, objects that should work don't, the plot is pointless, mostly just following an ugly gnome around. The endings of both the main and bonus stories are totally unsatisfying, there are no real characters we care about, and so on. It's free if you watch some ads, so I shouldn't complain, but I was happy to finish it.
Really shouldn't ask to rate the game so soon in playing it, so far I really enjoy it i like the story line as well. Just at times it seems like there is glitches during the puzzles unless that is the way its suppose to be. I'll rate five stars when I've played it more. It is a nice and a great game
Good game. My only problem is that when a game asks me to pay, I would like it to be longer. It should not finish in 2 days
OK story. Some of the puzzles didn't make much sense. The map was essential. Bad guy dwarf reminded me of Mel Brooks. On my Android tablet I often had to tap on objects many times before I could pick them up.
ANOTHER GREAT ONE BY ALAWAR. ENDED KINDA QUICK THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BETTER AT THE END BUT STILL FUN.
I love this game it is awesome. Great graphics puzzles are challaging, over all one of the best games I have played.

So far it is an entertaining game. Good plot. Great graphics. A little "glitchy" in spots, but overall pretty decent.
Alawar you have the best games. I like how you give the option to download an app to proceed in the game unlike your competition. Keep em coming.
I played this on a Samsung Galaxy View 18.4" tablet running 5.1.1 using a stylist. I purchased the full game. I never use any hints on anything in this type of game, but the achievements evidently glitched for both HOS and mini games for never using hints! -1🌟for that and glitchy on screen selects. Now for the good! Great art work and music/fx. This is definitely one of Alawar's best storylines, love the monkey and how the story flowed with finding objects. You should consider sequels and or prequels for this storyline. When purchasing this type of HOGs I only buy ones that have Google Play Achievement XP points. I want some bonuses for game play! I see Alawar hasn't released any new HOGs in awhile and that's a shame because Alawar HOGs are better than other developers HOGs. Artifex Mundi HOGs just aren't as good, but they seem to be the only one cranking out this type of game for the mobile market for $6.99 on a new game. Come on Alawar get back in the HOG genre, your people are the best at it and I have no problem paying more for a quality HOG that you guys make! Please start making more HOGs!
I watched a video (mini game) 4 times and it would not give me the next chapter so either it isnt clear what you need to do or it is misleading. Too bad because I liked the story and graphics and would have liked to continue as some have said they were able to for free.
