They changed to a subscription model. I don't mind ads for apps that have limited things to read. At best, there are 2-3 Hawkeye stories available per week that I haven't read elsewhere. I'm ok with ads for an app with such an information limitation.
Love app but like some others getting "error loading content" for several days. It has happened several times before. Hopefully they can get it fixed.
A must for any True Iowa Hawkeye Sports fans. The insight of the articles are second to none and you can sign up for text message game day updates and in depth articles by some of the best Iowa Hawkeye Athletics reporters.
Tried to open, crashed, Uninstaller, reinstalled, tried to open, crashed. Hope this gets resolved as I liked the app when it worked... go Hawkeyes!!
Hawkeye Central is a great app and definitely worth the membership cost. I really enjoy being a part of this community.

Update on July 28- it's working fine now. Looks the same. No major updates so not sure what was the issue. ... Been fine for years except this week. July 2021. Open then crashed. Reinstalled 3 times. Restarted phone n reinstalled. Still not working. Have the online subscription. Would be handy to have the app. March, 2019 Good app. Nice n clear. Able to keep up with my Hawks across the world.
Keeps me updated on my Hawkeyes from 1500 or so miles away. Keeps getting better and better.
Nice app. Good layout. Keep it free like it is. Great place for Hawk fans to check in for the latest info. A must have for Hawk fans.
Don't waste your time, if you don't have a subscription to the DM Register you can't read the articles. There are a lot better apps to read about the HAWKEYES than this rag!
Love the app but now you ruined it by making us pay for it. I will be deleting it. There are other ways to find out Hawkeye news.
Not being in Iowa it is hard to keep up with them but with this app I get the info I need. Now, I just need the Big Ten network
