HB Padie by Heritage Bank

This is mostlikely the worst app I've ever used. Right from the get go it was a total mess. Not user friendly at all. I had to go to the bank to be able to register on the app! Isn't the point of an app to make things more convenient? Requires an unnecessarily complicated password and I've had to download and reinstall a minimum of 3 times with different issues at each point. Horrible! Right now when I open the app all I see is "Retry" and nothing else.

Good job on the recent app updates. It's more user friendly. But I recently updated the app and it requested I register again. And I had to get to the very last page of the registration to be notified that the username I chose on the very first page had already been used. And unfortunately for me, I ended up never getting a free username. The back and forth is frustrating and stressful

Hb padie is serving me as much as I expected, haven't incurred any complicated error(s) on this particular mobile banking app. It basically refunds every unsuccessful internet bundle transaction I make within a day or two and it specifically notifies me not to reinitiate a transaction with a prevailing network error. Absolutely it's one of the best so far. Why I rated 4 stars instead of 5? Well, I think that'll do for now, the developers should keep the app updated on the long run.

Your app is not working at all. I tried to register and I could not get past the "Choose Your Card Verification" screen. The drop down on select item is not working. What's the use of downloading your app, if one can't even register on the app? My second review on 9th August, 2020. Despite the update the app is still not working. When trying to register on the app, you can't input your the PAN number of your card details. I don tire for this app.

For starters, transaction history is a mess. Secondly, i had to have certain amount of data to login. Presently i have been unable to login. Keeps showing 'limited or no access to data' whereas i have over 500mb and i've been using other mobile app with no such issue.

Kindly adjust the registration setting so that it can either rotate or pushed down lower like other apps. cos my touch sensitivity for my phone cannot input my account number hence I haven't been able to register to use it since I downloaded the app. More work still needs to be done on your app. Check out the other bank and see their latest updates on their apps, very interesting and fun now. I still can't use the your app, even the *745# on my palasa phone. Wet in dey happen?

I tried registering on the Heritage Padie app but cannot proceed beyond where one will be required to select card. The item to be selected cannot pop or come up. I even deleted and redownloaded the app as directed by one of your agents in Customer Care Desk but the problem still persists. Please do something to fix the problem

In the best interest of your business, please remove this app and bring back the former HB Padie. Its one of the best mobile banking apps in Nigeria. It has never failed me. It still remains an excellent app even when compared to other bank apps. Since you made this update, 3 or 4 out of 5 transactions fail and this had been quite frustrating, but with the former Padie 0 out of 5 fail. Luckily I saw the old APK and uninstalled this to install it and since then my transactions have been breeze

Seems I don't understand English anymore! What's the meaning of one special character use in password creation. Have tried all the special characters, still it's telling me "must contain one special character". Is there any specific character u use? What do I do? Cos am lost with ur app.

I really like the app and it has great functionality. This should be a 5 star review except for the fact that my device, a Oneplus 7, has not been optimised for fingerprint sign on, a feature which worked on my previous device, a Oneplus 3T. Please sort this out as it could be the deciding reason whether Heritage Bank will be a primary account or not. Apart from this, I'd give the app a 5 star rating. Please treat as urgent!!

I thought this upgrade would be awesome as the old version but I was wrong and it is actually a shame on you. If only I had read reviews, I wouldn't be a victim, I have pending transactions to do, your short code doesn't work anymore and i couldn't log in to my account. Please kindly resolve this issue ASAP, I already have complains about using this bank, don't give me a reason to close my account please.

The app used to work fine until the upgrade to Padie 2.0. Now, I am unable to do any transaction because it would NOT accept my username and password. It also would not allow me to re-register through the old Padie account or with a new username and password. Whatever unique or outlandish username I come up with, the app kept saying the username was already taken. I have visited Heritage banks to see the officials; none of them could help. HB should revert to Padie 1.0.

The app is hanging and going off during transactions. Please work on it and make effective. I actually prefer the old app because no form of interruption was experienced. Thank you.

Updated the app and now i can't log in anymore, always stops at "Security Question" and says account cannot be verified. This is app I've used for years now, i always ignore the update notification until i said lemme updatelast week. I just don't understand why you people always do this: Take a good excellently working app and just mess it up. Update: I just read through other people's reviews; what a shame. I'm going to the bank on Monday to manually transfer my funds to Zenith bank. I'm done

I have updated the app from 2.0. But, ever since i do that, the app is not letting me login. It keeps respondinding with a message that 'it seems i'm onboarded on hb padie 2.0, that i should use the correct username or password. And it refused to respond when click on forgot password!

If you guys don't work on your banking system and on this app you're gonna loose customers. This app is terrible, it keeps having issues with trying to transfer money. This app is so annoying.

This is total waste of data and time, i cant even log in, complain on your ig and Twitter page, even go to one of your branch around here, please bring back the old version or fix the problem with this new upgrade HB padie,same error

I can't even login with my username and password which still works very well on the old app. Could this be an upgrade or downgrade? I just downloaded the new update and same error. I can't log in with my credentials working on the old app.. This is disgusting. Which I could take away this one star.

The older version was very good, but since I updated to the new version, I can't lodge in, it always says your user authenticity not correct. Please, I want you to let this new version function as the old version.

The app is good, but to open it is a big problem. What is the usefulness of an app that you can not quickly open it and make use of it. I suggest that Heritage should employ another developer to make a good and reliable app for the bank. The disappointments of this HB Padie app is too much. I make use of another bank's mobile app on my phone. It works better than HB Padie.

this app is scrab😠😠 the app is not good very bad it failed to open. Even the bank on it's own their service is poor,since I open the account I did not use to receive alerts and I have complain to customer care about it but they keep continue saying I will receive alert. up till now self I have not see any change. I manage to download the app now the app is not responding.......

Horrible: At the last stage of registration (secure your account) this app started displaying "Failure" consistently. This is the worst banking app in history.

I can't seem to set up my profile on this app. I can't get pass inputting my account number. What is wrong with the app

Please take down this app, I'm also a victim. I had unsuccessful transaction yet I was debited without reversal. The previous v2.0 is better than this. 😡

I've been trying to download this HB Padie App from Google play store for the past 3 weeks! It just keeps rolling and rolling without success. I thought Padie is a term used for friends but from my experience & other people's reviews I've read here, this App isn't user friendly at all. I may have to change my bank because I don't have luxury time to be visiting banking halls!

this app need to be upgraded... it does not support fingerprint and it doesn't give receipt. all other banks app has been upgraded and they work perfectly.

I just cant open the app. After giving my user name and password, I answer the 1st security question, after answering the 2and security question I am told the account cant be traced. This is really frustrating. I try to use *322*030*acct no* amount# it's not giving any result. What is the next option?

I only authorised one account for HB Paddie. I register/login and all my accounts are visible and accessible. And there is no option for me to deactivate the other accounts. This doesn't happen to me with other banks.

The bank is total nonsense, I don't expect the app to be good . Nothing good comes from here, the charge rate is very high. I will surely close my account once i come back .. what a waste of time and energy
