HB Phonological Awareness
This evidence-based, interactive program helps students improve their phonological awareness and listening skills. Students earn instruments and band members to form the rock band The Phonemix while learning to segment, blend, and manipulate sounds.
This app includes a free tour of the first level of all the activities in HearBuilder Phonological Awareness. If you have a subscription to Super Duper Learning and a student login, you can access the entire online version of the program.
Program Features
•Targets nine phonological awareness skills: Sentence Segmentation, Syllable Blending, Syllable Segmentation, Rhyming, Phoneme Blending, Phoneme Segmentation & Identification, Phoneme Deletion, Phoneme Addition, Phoneme Manipulation
•Multi-level program gradually increases in difficulty
•Research-based, evidence-based program
•Teaches children important listening and sound awareness for reading
•Meets the needs of children with different skill levels
•Monitors progress and provides frequent feedback
•Allows educator to add background noise at any level

So far so good! This looks like this is going to be amazing! Still on free trial but I have a kiddo who will do anything if it is on a screen so I am really helpful!

the app stops and turns black in the middle of the game.
This app seems great, even just on free tour! The set up differs for each skill, some including games as rewards, others not. The story line is odd but cute with the focus on music and sound. Great way to help kids work on phonetical skills. On my phone, it was a bit small, but the sensitivity was good. *Reviewed as a teacher-in-training
