Wi-Fi Zoning DescriptionAdjust and monitor your home’s comfort anytime, anywhere from your iphone / ipad with the HBX Wi-Fi Zoning mobile App.The HBX Wi-Fi Zoning App makes comfort easy by allowing you to control multiple zones within your living space to maximize comfort and energy savings. The App also provides the capability to control comfort for multiple locations in real time. From the Wi-Fi Zoning mobile App, you can view or change the thermostat name, current indoor temperature, desired targets, demands, priorities, and current local weather. With just a few taps you can quickly adjust your thermostat from heating to cooling, switch to home /away mode, and change fan to on/off or intermittent. The system allows you to receive alarm alerts by email notification from the HBX server with email frequency options. Unique to hydronics, the system is also capable of controlling air delivery systems with the ability to control fancoils and damper zones. For Geothermal systems, the App allows you to control 2 or 4 pipe systems with the Geo Mode feature in advanced settings.The Wi-Fi Zoning system also offers features that fit your life style such as 5 and 2 day programming capabilities with 4 setbacks per day and away mode. With Away mode, you can set a customized temperature for each zone when you’re not home or on vacation to maximize energy savings and reduce your utility bills. Turn off away mode before you get back and return to a comfortable home.In advanced settings, you can dive deeper into your system setup. You can choose from multiple heating and cooling modes for each zone with the option to average temperature from zone to zone. Selectable priorities can also be given to individual zones to accommodate for small or large systems.Connecting to Wi-Fi is easy with the Wi-Fi Zoning App. No messing around with routers or IP settings. Simply connect to the ThermoLinxTM Wi-Fi network and start the App. It’s that easy.
