Works great for many file types. But PLEASE add support for .xps/.mesh file types!!!!
Not tbe best cause it lacks a few features, but hey, that's where the paid version comes.
cant handle blend files properly if transformations arent applied your mesh will be distorted and some modifiers dont seem to work properly
It doesn't even open, it only shows a black screen.
The app is good! Will we be able to pose FBX Models soon? I was kind of hoping my rigged model would work.
nice but add .blend viewer my most of the gaming modeld are of .blend
wrost app doesn't support any other model need a lot of emprovement
I can open a file but it shows a mirrored view?
It is the only one that works. It has a few kinks but it is still a good app.
a good 3d model viewer, thanks
failed on my blender file. pieces missing and cylinders had oval cross sections.
Need a LOT more work...
It didn't do the thing that it was made for
Only used for one file so far, but opened my very simple Blender .blend file for review, no problems. The view control is excellent and intuitive, with two finger pivot, pinch and translations all working very nicely. No test with textures, as my simple project didn't have these. One extra star pending.
Don't know what goes into programming something like this, but I can tell this app is a job well done. Displays large models smoothly even on a cheap phone. Heads up, there's an issue with incorrect back face culling, but good luck finding a better app...
Nice app but the pet problem is that it doesn't support 3d formats like max, mtl, mlt, etc and it's UI needs improvement such as zoom button, rotate, and to show its grid lines. Also since it is called 'HD model viewer' let is have lighting settings and shaderfx just like most pc modeling softwares, I will rate this app 5 star if those requests are taken.
I tryed to load up a model from super mario 64 (obj) and it had no textures, and some just didnt work at all.
Rotating the model is so confusing and annoying especially if you have a model with small landmarks. The model i was using looked mirrored and some textures were missing. I was hoping for an enjoyable experience reading all these comments but i guess i got downloadbaited.
I have revised my review based on the developer response. This is the free version and has different features than the pro version. This app works fine.
This app is really cool and all but how the hell am I going to get my textures to show up? They always fail to load, even with the obj's mtl downloaded or using an fbx file doesn't make a difference :'[
but it's quite unstable to use with pinch to zoom in or out and the rotation is like moon gravity, e.g. — Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, JellyBean rooted. — 0nly gestures interaction on zoom and rotation is the problem.
Very cool. For some reason it flips my .dds textures... Makes the right side the left and vice versa, maybe it's in the way I saved them, although they work fine on my computer
Very convenient. Kind of slow and buggy for complex models but it does the job considering it solves the 3D viewing on a mobile phone.
Out of the 3 apps I tried this is the only one that opened my high poly obj. Also it has retro arcade fonts, which are a quirky choice but nice
This app would be really useful if it could open files on dropbox or Onedrive. Currently, you have to download the files to your device, remember the path, and type it manually ,which is a hassle.
I've been viewing 3D models from NASA's website and this is the best free solution so far
Would love it if it could read such .mesh files that are used in xnalara, I've found that there are quite a few people who want an app which could do this.
The first thing the app has done is freeze my phone to the point it didnt work for about 10 minutes! this is a bad app if the first thing it does is freeze the phone it was downloaded on.
