I received the endoscope, over a month ago and when I first got it everything worked. I even have pictures of it working. So that was a month ago .I put it away thinking sometime soon I'll need it. Sure enough I need it. and the Wi-Fi works but the app doesn't. the app just spins and spins and spins. No to troubleshooting process, no help other than what you see right here on this page. There isn't even instructions on resetting the device.
Like all other recent reviews, the app doesn't work, only spins workout displaying. This was the listed app for a WiFi inspection camera I just purchased. Forget this app. Find another. I searched and the first one I found was Depstech. It worked just like HD Scope was probably supposed to, but, it actually connected and worked. Find whatever works you like, but in my case it wasn't the hardware, just this app that was the problem.
Bought an Endoscope that required this app to be installed. Bought it a few years ago and worked fine. Needed to use it again this week, and it won't connect (can connect to the endoscope's wifi, but the app won't connect to the camera - just spins). Avoid.
App doesn't work any more. Can no longer connect to the camera via wi-fi. App constantly spins. Looking for a different app that actually works.
Works then doesn't . Used a few months ago, tried reconnecting, app just spins. Green light on wifi, camera on. Reboot phone, uninstalled app. App will not install from play store anymore. Basically a brick.
Junk. That's describes the app and the endoscope. Low quality. Hard to connect, even when connected the app fails.
Turn off mobile data and works like a charm! Dropped 2 stars for the fact that this isn't mentioned. Should be clear in the app / instructions that mobile data should be off.
Just does not work even though connected to the specified ssid. Tried airplane mode disabling data switching and turning off data no luck.
Have to turn off mobile data (and connect to the scope's WiFi) for it to work. Sadly the app is just a bit disappointing.
Installed it as per item I purchased and the dam thing keeps coming up with errors when trying to locate a wifi connection...it is total JUNK! Do not install.
I spent money for this scope. And the app just spins and spins and spins and never shows any video. Is there an alternative application to use with the scope?
It doesn t connect. Replugging, rebooting the device doesn t work. Reinstalling or clearing the data of the app doesn t work. Demand a refund for the device if you can.
It worked perfectly. The only thing I can not seem to do is share the images taken. 5 stars would be given if I could send the pictures and videos I have taken to others.
worked first time very impressed well done . you have to turn on your WiFi device then go to your wi fi settings and click other devices on phone . then you will see HD Scope. click on that then your scope will work . .
Works for 30 seconds then freezes. Won't work again unless you restart your phone. Rubbish.
you have to connect to WiFi turn mobile data off then it will connect as stated a few reviews down.. they need to stress that so everyone knows mobile data somehow blocks it go figure 🤔
As a lot of other people have stated, the app does not work. Was hoping that it had been fixed but clearly has not
starts up and then crashes. "authentication error occurred" will not connect with any device.

I got the product downloaded app connected to my Wi-Fi but the application don't have control for the light on the camera so if I put it in a pipe or drain I won't be able to see total darkness I will edit my review if problem is resolved
Tried 5 times and can't load the app. Checked the reviews and decided I wasn't going to try a 6th time.
i think this would be a really good device, if i could only get it to work. will not connect to wifi for the life of me.
app works need to open wifi, connect to scope wifi and open the app and it connects automatically.
Good product and app, just cannot use camera while enable internet, off data and on wifi to connect
worthless app.... can't connect .... difficult to connect every time....

Not working at all for the endoscope.
Worked ok when first got it year ago. Used it several times all ok. Put away for awhile and needed it again. Charged transmitter, hooked everything up, scope lite up, connect via wifi, start app and nothing. It just spins. Tried everything to get it to work and just gave up. Hope a fix comes out. Update 1/11/21- tried app on new phone, still doesn't work.
