An optical illusion (also called a visual illusion) is characterized by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality.
Visual perception is the ability to interpret the surrounding environment by processing information that is contained in visible light. The resulting perception is also known as eyesight, sight, or vision.
The human visual system analyzes the interactions between visible electromagnetic waves and the objects in our environment, extracts information about the world from them, and makes visual perception possible. Visual perception is considered a dynamic process that goes far beyond simply replicating the visual information provided by the retina.
To perceive is to create a figure or shape that does not necessarily appear as such in the real world but that we can represent mentally so that we can recognize it under various conditions. Hence, by studying the way that the brain fills in missing or ambiguous visual information, we can learn a lot about the way that we perceive the world.

Tried the free trial version, the illusions are cool but too often you're required to stare at a certain point, only to have some ad pop up and move the picture so you're not staring at the required point any more and you have to start over.

Great app! Not too many ads which don't bother me, and so many illusions to see. Love it! Maybe add something like when you tap picture you can see the illusion/ picture better because it will zoom up? Does that make sense? 😂👌 However, the pictures at the bottom (you know those?) They are nothing from the app. Maybe ypu can change it but i don't really mind
