HDFC Bank Tablet

The interface if this app is not user friendly as it is only available in the landscape mode and when I try to scroll I am unable to see most of the content on the page. There is no option through which I can view my credit card statement either! All in all, it's a terrible update and I wish I could install the older version!!!

An extremely non user friendly app in the name of "upgradation".Firstly,you forcefully need to use it in landscape mode. Secondly, you have no option to transfer funds except NEFT, No IMPS available.Thirdly, scrolling across is big issue with unwanted large interface. Fourthly, for viewing Passbook you need to log out and again log in to another page. Horrible experience and highly dissapointed. Simply ruined a smooth, extremely user friendly and satisfactory app into... I don't what to call it.. But definitely not an app.

What a worst app. The previous version was faaaar better. I can't even drop down the beneficiary... Just stays on the first beneficiary in the list. The screen gets rotated. Not user friendly app. I never expected HDFC to have something such worst. HDFC, please roll back to previous version. I have to open my laptop to do any transactions now. This new app is a PAIN.

If I could give less than 1*, I would. Why on earth would you replace a working app with one which doesn't? What does update mean in your dictionary? Faults ? It did not accept my credentials which I have been using everyday till the update without any error. Had to reset everything. Next, cant get into the app. "Heavy load " error. Uninstall/reinstalled the app. The app opened, surprise!! But it occupies my screen as if I'm playing a game, even though my display isnt on auto rotate. Disappointing!!

The upgrade of this app is a nightmare. This app opens horizontal(auto-rotate even though it's off) on my one plus 6 and I am not able to use some basic function because the current layout changes won't just allow me to do it. Not able to understand if they have launched a beta version of the app and made it live to the users. I wonder what is the security feature they are using while doing online transaction. I am afraid, I might need to uninstall this app if HDFC doesn't releases a new upgrade of the app soon.

Where is the "Mobile" App??! This version, which says for tablet ofcourse, just opens in landscape mode! Why would you update an app that was working properly into a complete dysfunctional one?! Tried reinstalling the app, and now the app itself is missing! Moreover, it's over a week now and even after numerous complaints here, there seem to be no response from HDFC. Really appalling!

First of all it says this app is for tablet users. What do we phone users do with this?it is not compatible to my screen size. Plus, it gets stuck often. So nothing can be done properly. So frustrating while transferring money.The old version was working really well. Then why you changed it to this version??Please fix this.

It is just a website on a small screen with big fonts and big pictures. Does not even fit properly on a huge screen on my Samsung Mobile. Very bad app and would uninstall it for sure. Developer needs to learn to create an app before coming into the business. Not sure why they upgraded the app and degraded the service

Hi, i have been a happy customer with HDFC with the awesome previous mobile App. Suddenly 7 days back, these guys switched over to a useless new version of App which doesn't work and gives the worst customer experience!!!! please replace the new version of HDFC Mobile Banking App (to older version)which is a nightmare to the customers with all sorts of issues- heavy load issue, landscape view enabled default, unable to transact properly as earlier. PLEASE revert back to older HDFC App which was the best one!!! Thanks, Madhuri

I don't know if many people feel the same but I certainly don't want my account balance in enlarged bold font as the first screen that opens... atleast in the previous version I cud scroll down quick to hide...here it shows me full details of my savings...NOT REQUIRED! Please make the next version more secured...may be give click in the Summary dashboard so that the user gets a chance to decide what they wish to see.

An absolutely ridiculous update! Complete waste of time.. I cannot even log into the app 99% of the time. It was an unnecessary move to update a perfectly running, user friendly app to this garbage.. it's High time HDFC realises this and correct it. Otherwise they are going to lose customers.

Horrible app. It just opens in landscape mode.Unable to scroll .Unable to make credit card payment. Not at all user friendly .Forget about new features the basic functionality of a banking app is also not fulfilled.Its been a week and you haven't reverted to old version also. Highly disappointed by such service .

It's horrible app and can't even seen the options. It is showing in full zoom mode and will can't even scroll left or right. Even after login, it is not showing any options properly. I couldn't use at all and uninstalled it immediately. I don't know why HDFC is releasing this type of app (latest version)

Zero testing by developers. Basic functitionality of the app is not working. Unable to login. Opens only in landscape mode and that too only if you have enabled auto rotate in your mobile. Menus are not scrollable and unable to see the menus which are in the bottom part.

The new mobile app has horrible experience. I can't view the screen on Portrait mode. As a matter can't view the amount deposited. Can see up to withdrawal col. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still it doesn't work.

I have been using the previous version of this app n was quite happy with it. Since a week I believe it has undergone some upgrade due which it got uninstalled by itself n finally when i reinstalled it again. It's giving me such pain to use it . It by default open in landscape mode which is very irritating . I checked my phone settings too but it doest help.

This is such a bad upgrade over the previous version which was just fine. Default landscape mode is so irritating. Old version of the app was supposed to be available for people who dislike the new app, but even the old version is not available yet.

Terrible to use! Nothing works! Not sure why the older version was replaced with this one. It was much much more user friendly and functional than this one. This one seems to be created for a tablet..but people use more smartphones than tablets on the go. Very disappointing..

It was my favourite app...but after the update it has become useless...with a horizontal interface that does not even fit the screen. The previous version was so good. This one is absolutely bogus. Don't feel like banking with hdfc anymore.

I was using the previous app for the last three years and it was absolutely fine and flawless, applications are updated to be more comprehensive and advanced but this new upgraded HDFC app literally is a joke. HDFC should immediately address these issues and have it rectified. I believe the previous reviews have specified the funny flaws of this new app. Wake up team HDFC

Very strange!!! I noticed a HDFC App "New" appeared over the previous app and so i tried using it today (29/11/18), but it stopped opening!!! I loaded a new quick access pin, but that too got lost! Always says "sorry there is an error"! Very disturbing if highly sensitive Banking apps are shabbily offered to clients.

One of the most awful and pathetic apps I have come across in my entire life. It doesn't allow me to login, even though I am giving my credentials right every time, moreover it opens in landscape mode and its GUI is not frirndly at all. I depended on the older version of this app for my transactions and all but this updated version with a lot of bugs has ruined my daily process. I don't what made a premium institution like HDFC to update its working app into such a pathetic app. DISAPPOINTED

The previous App was working fine. This new update did not allow me in after the quick password set up. There was a message that there heavy traffic and load so I need try after some time.. this issue continued even after 2 days.. then I understand installed and re installed the app.. gosh.. the portrait mode was gone and now only landscape mode is available.. very very bad update.. I had to go back to my computer for net banking now..poor App

I have been using hdfc mobile app older version since long. But since the time it has undergone updation it has become a pain to use. I cannot scroll down to enter details. Moreover it does not allow me to login, showing network error. Do not degrade the quality of the app.

not sure why hdfc has put up a tablet app for mobile users. they had issues with the new app, but when they decided to replace it why not get the old mobile app back ? the old app was convenient, minimal, sufficient and robust. the new app migration was poorly executed. first they put up an app with a flashy splash screen after which u cant login, then they pull that app down and replace it with the tablet app which is basically unusable on phone. i cant scroll down to see balance. pathetic!

This tablet app is not user friendly. The previous version was excellent. By default you can see the first beneficiary name, not able to select other one while third party transfer. There are other issues too..

Useless app... As you open, immediately it goes to landscape mode... Don't know what was the need for this kind of upgrade!! Earlier version was good... You can't get even your account statement from this... Totally useless app.. No connection with the word "mobile banking app"... Instead you can name it as data/space spoiling app

It is very difficult to handle the whole ui. Mainly developed for tablet so unable to view the whole screen mobile. And top of it there is no other mobile banking for hdfc bank in english other than this app. The old mobile banking was far far better than this one in respect of fund transfer credit card bill payment and view your account details.
