It was pretty easy to set up. It doesn't seem to instantly sync new videos - it takes a while (yes, I have fast reliable internet). It is always a little finicky and sometimes won't let you watch any clips. The timestamp on the camera is different than the time shown on the alerts and both are the wrong time even after resyncing the time.

Not intuitive enough to connect to wifi. Does not even connect to wifi to allow viewing everywhere as manual says. This defeats the purpose when I am not onsite. The app is simple but unstable, or not foolproof like GoPro kind of app. I am returning it. No more China made gadgets and apps. Had I seen the review first I wouldn't buy this device in the first place. Now I know how to evaluate devices - check the app review first.

-10, can't pull up playback recordings, will randomly lose connection from the app even though the lights on cam. Indicate it is connected to my network, and I have to reset it far to often it seems or it will stay "offline" ..... BUT ... I will say that when it does work and im able to access any playback, I'm able to see it in 4k, adjust the camera setting however I see fit, zoom in/out, and the audio is crisp clear.

For a paid product this is below any bar. Nothing works as expected. Motion detection, wifi settings, alarms, picture quality video quality, setup, settings saving, or anything. Once attempting to save connection is lost permanently no matter how is done. I cannot recommend to anyone, ever. Money fully lost, gained nothing but agony.

App is slighlty better than garbage. Only one cam at a time. The motion detection doesn't work. Can only watch 30 minutes then keeps asking if i want to keep watching? WHY???? Also only records by app for 3 minutes. Was told because the sd card records they won't change. WHY ON EARTH would you not add a feature that costs you nothing extra to program and adds value to the product? What if i preferred to record to my device? I gave it 2 stars because at least the app is in English.

Notification and motion detection doesn't work that means alarm mode is useless- it's pointless to have it without them - does that mean i have to be at home connected to WiFi so I could get notifications even if they would work? Don't see it useful if it's like that. And it's missing a loop record-so have to have 30 sd cards aswell. App allows you to configure the cam. All and all app is missing quite a lot of what's actually is necessary. Shame I have it as a gift - cant even send It back.

Works ok. Got everthing connected ok. Remote view worked well. Just wish there is a way to save a event clip to my phone while viewing playback. Edit. After update it no longer records on motion and i have not been able to connect the second camer. Wont go into network mode. Just use my one working camera as a looking glass to my basement now

Crashes constantly making the cameras that it used to work with, useless. A reinstallation of the app fixed the immediate crash issues, but now I have to constantly reconnect all the cameras that work with it too. This app sucks and tge cameras suck. Don't waste your time or money, because these cameras weren't exactly cheap and I've spent almost 100 hours setting up and maintaining the functionality of these cameras. Bordering on bloody useless

Easy and simple to use. It needs an update to send you the videos or at least pics of motion detection. It would also be great if the camera kept the settings after powering down. You have to set everything again even though the settings are still in the app but not in the camera.

My opinion of the app changed immediately after inserting the SD card. Uses a lot of battery and crashes often, like... lots. Frozen screen, black video with sound... first attempt to view SD card footage from the app. Accessing live footage seems extremely slow. If the camera is off/offline, why no access to settings?

Bought 3 of them, but feels like there are better options available in market. Some of limitations I face are:- 1) No recording 2) Unsatable connection 3) very basic app to use the camera with 4) too slow 5) freezes when detect motions Hope developer invest some time on the app and make it connect with Google assistant, then we can use the camera atleast to view live feed. Thanks. PS: VOICE INTERCOM MENTIONED IN DESCRIPTION IS DELUSIONAL. YOU CAN ONLY HEAR THE SOUND AND THAT TOO IS OF POOR QLTY

Forces (unnecessary) access to phone, crashes without. There is no valid justification for this app to be able to make phone calls, yet the developers have designed it to shut down if access to the phone is denied. As this is the app tied to the HSDP camera that makes the whole product non-viable. The app needs to be urgently updated to remove the need to access phone (make & receive calls) and location. *Neither* are *essential* for the app to perform its role.

Not bad, not great. Notifications don't work. Motion preview doesn't show a snapshot of what activated the camera to record........ So not really a preview. On the other hand, I didn't have any of the install issues reported by others. Would be nice if it integrated with apps like Tinycam

very slow. unstable wifi from camera - better results when connecting to wifi router and then using it. battery barely holds 30min. definitely not recommend, way too pricey for what it does (and especially HOW).

Way too glitchy for needing to record possible emergencies, I have to restart it every minute or few minutes, 'cos I am all of a sudden unable to watch recorded motion detections.. It also jumps around & skips like 5 or more seconds It is just crazy. The app would be positively amazing if it actually worked.. :/

Just wanted to let you know that cameras are working fine, no problems, but the application itself, why does it not let me see 2 or 4 cameras at the same time? I have to switch cameras all the time, please make a note of it and make the interface easier to view 2 or more cameras at the same time just like hopeway also make a pc application so we can see more than one camera around the house. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Camera will not connect to WiF it says it's connected the immediate starts broadcasting it's own hotspot againi. Also even when entering the wrong password for router is says connected. I'm just glad they approached me and gave me the money to buy the camera and review it on Amazon. Safe to say it will be a negative review as the camera is now in the bin

So it works... You can see the footage live and the recordings but you cannot save them to your phone and the events side of things is poorly done, the seeking only works for 30 seconds when the clips are 5 minutes long!!

Notifications dont work. All other functions are fine. Slow but acceptable. But I wanted it for motion sense notifications. I have a cam I got for half the price with all this except it's all analog, so no wifi stream or notification. But still just as useful as this cam/app.

Can you please fix the app? It was working fine before, recent updates have broken it. Freezes on startup and have to kill it. It was correctly configured and working well, left on holidays and now i cant see my camera at home. If you cant fix it just revert to the last version or provide an official link to it.

I tried all options for getting this to connect to my Wi-Fi, nothing worked. I searched the web for any help and all sources gave the same information and nothing addressed the problem. I can't locate where the files are store because it days they are stored to my phone.

Fix the app. I bought two cameras that needs this app to work, but none of them work. Its connecting to the network, and after that I get offline message no matter what I do or how many times I reset the app or camera. If I could give 0 stars for this app I would. A huge SHAME for the devs!

Worked good for the first 10 minutes and then lags about every other 40 seconds. Dont see any difference from 720p to 4k video quality. And when i turned off the movment notifications they continued to notify even with everything being completly still.

A very small camera with exceptional video including 2k 4k 1080 and 720 quality and ease of controls, has its own hotspot and connects via 2.4 ghz, motion detection, ir for night vision has the basics down pretty well. Not sure why the rating is so low but it's a solid app with the cam.

I deleted it Then re installed it .It takes a bit of doing .But all problems start at the beginning of the set up .Install the app . Then open settings on your phone I have Samsung galaxy 5j 2016 model go to Wi-Fi setting and tap it When open tap the camera name .Then close and open app except all the things it asks .Then it should ask you connect to the router pick yours and enter password. It should say UID mine filled this it's self .scan for your camera and enter it's password.

I installed the app on my cell and it found the camera and I was able to install and deal with the camera on. My local Lan and then did some programming on my router. The camera can be now dealt with remotely. I can't sit back and let the developer take a bum rap. It works as it should.. If you can't get it to work get Help😁

The app hindered the potential of the camera, so difficult to connect to the hotspot of the camera. Keep on disconnecting. Tried to connect and use for more than 1.5hours and finally gave up and leave the 68$ camera on the table.

Horrible app, having trouble connecting from the app to the camera keeps telling me that it's offline and the camera is on there is no way to troubleshoot. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, to still be having the same problems

You would expect an updated app with an updated camera. I get a constant stream of errors as soon as I install the app, and after a day of kinda working, it now dies as soon as I launch it, no message.

Useless. A piece of trash evidently designed by an idiot. Save your money and buy a camera and app that works. Edit: Aug 2021: This app appears to have updated recently. It's now even more useless & unreliable - something I would have hardly thought possible given how useless it was before. Avoid.
