Does not pair, when it goes into pairing mode it does not stay in paring mode long enough. Then trying to get it to go back into pairing it takes FOREVER again and again it does not do as it should . Yes I have everything that I should for this fan to connect with wifi. Nice fan to bad the pairing mode and the app don't work. Every other device I connected no problem. This is nothing but one big frustrating pain in the ☆☆☆!!!!
Easy set up. Took several tries but it was more the AC that wouldnt get to the initial setup. App seems simple however I wish it would synch in some way to detect the temperature indoor so that I can tell if I need to turn the AC on or off remotely for my pets. Similar to the modlets provided by my electric company. I wanted to avoid having to use the modlet.
Eventually I was able to get the app to pair to the fan, so 2 stars for that. If that is all you care about, then it works. However, all of the FAQs are blank, no communication from the vendor via messaging and I still can't figure out how to integrate with Google Home. Got the fan to integrate with Google Home, so I'm extremely frustrated.
The unit turns back on after a power outage but the pump doesn't and there is no way to turn the pump back on with the wifi program. If you want to use this for a vacation home don't buy it. Still trying to figure out what I'm going to do. Unit Works great and if you are living there to manually turn it back on might be good for you.
Useless. They don't have instructions to reset the ac unit. Even when I somehow got "AP" to appear, it won't go beyond saying I need to connect to the hot-spot "smart-xxx". I mean, is this a joke by a smart @!!? Because it really looks like it. I'm calling the company today. This app is impossible.
The app worked great untill one day I find out that I was logged out and had to try to remember my info. Sometimes things like that aggravate the hell out of me when you open an app like this and it tries to have a security feature thats retarded. God forbid someone hacks my app and turns on my ac for me. Definitely lost stars for that feature. Leave me logged in or give me the choice.
This app is used with my dehumidifier with built-in pump. It controls the device, but does not alert me when the bucket is full and does not provide an indication of how full the bucket is. It only lets me know when the bucket is full when the app is started. Not very useful.
App displays fan and humidity icons on top of the humidity indicator making it impossible to read. Also, when trying to report the issue, I discovered the text field and submit items don't work so you cannot report any issues.
Worked fine until the June 2019 update, now it displays distorted and the map/weather option does not function at all. Now, it will only display in Celsius...
I never received any confirmation code to my email in the US, therefore no way to register the app or use the WiFi. What a waste of time. At least I got the fan from Amazon liquidation for $5.00 otherwise would have gone right back.
Changing any setting turns off pump. If you use the app to modify any setting on the dehumidifier, the pump turns off and because there is no pump setting in the app, you have to go to the machine and manually turn the pump back on.
App works with the smart appliance device, but not sure what name it shows on the WiFi network. Example : Smart Window A/C. ? Or the wifi module name?
I can't even connect it. Your instructions don't work at all. Unit is awesome. This app needs too much work for me to keep trying.
does not work outside home when you have a firewall. no way to vvontact Anyone to figure out what ports to open.
This is not the correct app for the Geek Air fan. You actually have to use the Smart Life app to connect your fan.
Works great. Set up was easy and paired with my device without issue.
Works OK. Fault....can't turn pump on with remote.
agree with others this seems to be incorrect instructions for this fan. i will update if i resolve the issue.
Just received. Installation process was around 5 minutes, very easy So far so good.
Would prefer it interface with Google Assistant

Simple and quick setup for my Emerson Quiet Kool air conditioner. About 3 to 4 minutes setup time including a firmware update . Every step worked first time. I was pleased to find the timer 7 day schedule feature. I was specifically hoping for this feature. I use a similiar app for my heating in the winter time. All seems to work properly. Thanks!!
