Headset Menu
This app creates a menu in your notification area when you connect earphones or a Bluetooth headset to your device.

Needed permissions:
* RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Start when phone starts
* BLUETOOTH: Check Bluetooth state
* INTERNET: Used to report crash data to Crittercism (error reporting service)
* READ_LOGS: Allows collecting logcat data to be attached to crashes and handled exceptions.
* GET_TASKS: Allows augmenting crash reports with information on the activity running during a crash.
* WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Allows the app database to be saved to SD-card
* WAKE_LOCK: Nedded for turning on the screen on headset connection
* REORDER_TASKS: to bring other apps to foreground / auto-launch
No personal information is gathered by this app. Only crash reports are sent to me so I can fix bugs and improve the app.

Just summited a bug report via email and it was fixed within a day. I have been using this app for years, and I still can't believe is free.
Wonderful, just what I've been looking for! (And for surprisingly long, too: this app is very hard to find with all kinds of search queries. You might want to look into some additional description text optimization here). Thank you so much! Wouldn't mind an option to adjust the size of app icons in the notification menu (the default size look just huge tbh), but it works great anyway.

Don't work on android 8.1 (Nitrogen OS Redmi Note 3 QC)
Used to work great with my LG G5 and V10. I don't think it's updated for Android 7. The menu would display when a device is connected but the icons would not work. Hopefully it will get fixed
Kind of froze while messing with settings. This would be more useful if it had bluetooth headset battery info as well.
This is just one more thing to be in the way on top of the things I want to get to
This was perfect before the update. Now the volume setting doesn't work and it doesn't open the apps anyway. So, basically a waste of space on the phone.
I used this for a very long time and it works perfectly. It even lets you customize the icons to match your icon pack
Works great! One minor thing: for some reason, every time I connect my headset, the volume of the alarm gets lowered as well (which results in me not hearing it in the morning...). Any workaround to avoid this?

Saves me time
I loved the option of having shortcuts in my notifications in my previous Samsung phones when I plugged in my earphones, but I have an LG phone now. This gives me the option to have my shortcuts again.
I am older so technology doesn't come easy, didn't understand it couldn't see how it help.
Dunno why this is missing on Galaxy S6 (it was on S4/S5) but this brings it back bigger and BETTER.

I was irriated by the useless conent of the recommended apps bar and inability to edit it. DIsablling it and using this apps makes me happy again.

Lolipop update screwed up my old preferences for what apps I used in the notification window when connected to headphones on my Note 3. So this app fixed that issue and I couldn't be happier.
I think it'd be good to have an option where the widget or maybe shortcut icons floated above other apps such as navigation when attached to Bluetooth device.
It has sorted out the default music app issue for my Sony Bluetooth Headset. This app launches my favourite music player Spotify when I start SBH50 now. Thanks. Is it possible to start a predefined playlist/ album/ song/ radio?
It solves a problem I was looking to fix and it does it elegantly.
This combined with removing the notifications that is preloaded is awesome.
Didn't realize how much I relied on this until it broke. Contacted Dev and he resolved the issue quickly. This is a great app for people who use their phones in the car for GPS/music. Makes it easy to switch between apps and keep my eyes on the road.
This app was useful while it worked but now it constantly crashes.
This app rocks! It just need an option to display only the notification icon and not the white menu...
