Note that not all devices notify if there is a microphone or not. This is not possible to get around.
This is similar to the headset icon on HTC phones, but include more options. Tap the notification to open settings.
Can also automatically wake up the screen if the headset is plugged in when the display is turned off.
Permissions explained:
WAKE_LOCK: to wake up screen when headset is plugged in.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: to autostart service when phone boots.

Worked 101% well on first installation. After few hours when i tried using it again, it just didnt respond! Was so happy to would have found a solution to my phone not detecting earphone problem, back to ZERO!!!!

Just does what it is expected to do. I missed the headset notification after update to Android 4.4. This app gives me the indicator back to see if my wacky headset plug worked or not. Great! Thank you!! (The notification icons are the best looking, imho, this is the main reason for me to user this app and not one of the others.)
It is perfect for when you have your phone hooked up to your car stereo and a call comes in. You don't need to unplug your phone to talk. Your phone will act as a microphone and your call will be heard through your stereo. Great job! Thank you so much!
Let's just create a whole bunch of illegal applications and confuse the world with headset notifiers when I can just throw on Bluetooth and we can just find all the headsets and drive around Emporia it's not rocket science
100 percent working app. This app solved my external mic problem. After installing this app my mobile is able to detect microphone. Before this app mobile just show the headphones 🎧 icon without mic. Now I can record audio in mobile by external mic. Thank for this app.
