This app is very middle of the road. I appreciate the structured workouts, and my back was definitely starting to feel better by the end of the free portion of the program. However, the animations are pretty much garbage, and the instructions aren't much more valuable. Definitely not worth buying. You can build your own workouts with the free version, and everything offered within premium can be found from other fitness apps for free.
I have used the app and it worked great to keep me motivated with short workouts that I was capable of completing in one sitting. The app keeps the users motivation high by providing positive reinforcement at the end of each workout and even tips on the best time of day to complete the workout. This app is a keeper. And it's free version works well without any disturbancesfrom ads. The ads don't interfere with the workout, instead ads pop up at the end of the workout and I can handle that.
Exercises are great, I like that I can adjust the time for rest and length of the exercises, but I dislike the mix of easy and hard level, as one day is for beginners the next day for intermediate, the third for advance, it's impossible to progress so fast so the result is to use the app less as I signed up for beginners level and I lose trust that is suitable for me.
Very light exercices that can make the difference if you work the whole day seated in a chair at the office. If feels good when stretching the back. After you finish a certain number of exercises, the the sequence is always the same! It doesn't makes sense to keep the app after that.
Warning! This app is really easy to follow, however there are some exercises that will definitely exasperate any existing back problems. Avoid any where you are reaching for your feet or stretching towards your thighs. These are extremely difficult to do without causing further harm. Where are the 'superman' and 'pushup' type exercises.? I have only completed one session so perhaps they are coming up later. Be warned, if you have an existing back injury - avoid. Any physios out there?
I have the paid version. We need video instructions of actual people doing the stretches and movements with actual advice on how to do things. The model on the animations has perfectly straight movements with no arches in her back or anything. I have no idea if I am doing anything correctly and no information of how I should feel. I feel like the 5 star ratings are misleading as this app is not useful and potentially dangerous with the lack of information. Stretching can damage you.
So I never rate apps. But this one is the first I actually buy after using it for free for a month. It's like only 4 Euro and the breathing directions it gives after you buy it totally transform your workout. I suffer from chiphosis (not so advanced) but relly after using it constanly it, my back pain stopped and my back is much more flexible than before, I have more strength in my arms and legs and I can finally touch my toes when I bend down. It uses some yoga asanas as well and you feel bliss
This is the first app I ever bought. App is really great, five stars definately. My suggestion is to put some sound at the end of every excercise, right before rest counting for next excercise. Or, if support is reading this feedback, maybe there is an option for that somewhere in the app? I cannot find it. Good luck with further developing!
Just Beginning therefore a Hopeful 3โ's ! But I have Chronic Back Problems and very Bad Sciatica - as well as Arthritis issues in Joints ! ๐ฆ !! But I've gradually, over 20+ yrs, Started Various Exercise Programs - even a Short but Often System developed 4 me by a friend who's a Physio ! Long and the Short ? I've a Condition called Fibromyalgia. And 2 of the worst Problems with It are: Lack of Concentration & Brain Fog, so I lose Interest Fast & Forget Easily. So I Give Up. Now we'll see๐จ!
Best exercise app for the back I've ever tried. My back was stiff after 15 years of bot exercising at all, and now I can feel my body is getting more flexible and light every time after the workout. I'm so impressed with the selection and combination of exercises. Feel so happy! Genuine thanks to the developers!
It has adds - It's free. It's straight forward, and effective. The exercises work as long as I maintain core strength and alignment. There is quite a bit of flexibility in the settings. I'm grateful :)
I like this app for a variety of exercises that target my muscular skeletal issues. Only thing I don't like is that the verbal instructions are truncated before being finished , before launching into the particular exercise being explained. May try the premium upgrade to see how that works.
As much as I am benefitting from this app, after a week or two it goes from simple stretches to acrobatic feats, like doing the splits with one leg in the air, or balancing your whole body on your head and shoulders. It's confusing if this app is designed for beginners or incredibly advanced users.
Love this app. It really helps my back as I battle with scoliosis and back pain. I notice when I don't do this on a regular basis my body starts increasing in pain. So it helps to reduce the pain level. Thank you! BTW- is this app on Apple App store? I can't find it there.
I do like the audio & animations on how to do the exercises, as well as.the adjustments you can make to the time intervals for each exercise.
This app was recommended to me by my sister and after almost 2 months of workout routines I think this app is just genius. I use it instead of stretching after my strength workouts or whenever I feel my spine needs a relief in the end of the day. I don't have spine and neck pains thanks to this app anymore, and it helps to stregthen your whole core. Highly recommended!
My back pain is almost gone after just a week of using the app! I highly recommend yo anyone with back pain and posture issues. I purchased the app after 5 days of using because it is worth it. Great excercises. Although i cant seem to change the workout per week. It stays at x/3.
Fantastic workout app. But there is always a room for improvement in everything in life - you may wish to consider adding reminders that will remind people of the last exercise they did, out of the 60 exercises.
This app has been very helpful to me. I work an office job and experience some back pain as a result. The exercises in this app are very helpful. The app works well, there are no ads or any annoying things.
I like it very much. It is useful. It explains you how to do the exercise before it starts and lets you prepare while 10 seconds. It also has health advices and the way it stores your data is so comfortable! Thanks for this app. ๐
This app motivates me to exercise, stretch out my neck and spine every single day! The programs are relatively short in duration (13-15 minutes) and there's always some new exercises to do. An overall great app. Thank you for making it!
Found instructions weren't clear. After 4th day tick wasn't appearing on day exercise completed. That set me back a few days. It'll be nice to add &hear: (1) 'Start Exercise' and be told after instructions given. It just says 'Working. You could be in position to start, but not told when. (2) It would help for the voice to say "Next Exercise". (3) When working on left & right side, to hear "Change sides". I enjoy seeing the motivation & the rewards to boost me to continue.
for the most part im very happy with it! the only issue it has for me is that for sore reason one of the achievements got stuck? it appears every time i open the app, and everytime i finish a workout as well. Other then that im very happy with the app :)
It's amazing! The example videos of the exercises are rendered with 3D game graphics which really improved my life experience almost immediately. This is something amazing! Thank You! :)
Very useful exercises. Unfortunately they don't turn horizontally which is a problem if I have to load the battery while doing the exercises and put the device in a smartphone holder.
I'm 58 and this app is perfect for me. I started to become stiff from lack of movement and had a lot of pain in my lower back it was painful to do everyday activities. Once I started using this app one week in the pain was gone and so was the stiffness. I didn't realize how out of shape I had become. The exercises are not difficult and you can adjust the level of intensity. I paid the premium. I love that it's on my phone and I can take it with me when I travel and still stay in shape. ๐
It's very good. The only cons are that doesn't tell you when you need to start the exercise after resting and doesn't warn you when to change side in the middle of the exercise in some of them.
Hangs and gets stuck. Also the voice (end of time) and audio instruction is out of sync.. the instructions start and if there is a end of time notification it disappears. Not worth upgrading and maybe will work well when running this app alone without internet access
Love how it is set up. I am older, yet active, but very busy with work. Just what i was looking for. Found by searching your name all the other apps for the body. Downloaded them all. Perfect! In my opinion for me.
Its a great app to strengthen and increase flexibility of spine as well rest body joints. However, it needs to add one feature after get ready for any of exercises "START" voice guide. Sometimes anyone can miss the right time of starting exercise and hence resting period gets affected. It is helpful in lower back pain maintenance too. So sufferer as well as healthy people can use this app. If needed Doctor's advice can be taken though appears not needed, but advice rule out bad effect.
