I tried this app in the hope that it would help me pick out voices over background sounds, as I have difficulty doing this for reasons other than hearing loss. Instead, all I could get from it was a slightly-delayed repetition of sounds with variable gain and a massive amount of static. I can't imagine this being any use for someone with actual hearing loss either, as I had much better clarity without the app running.
Too much delay though. Left/right adjustment would be great as would be option to use headset microphone instead of built-in one.
What's with the reverberation echoes? I say something, or hear what someone else is saying, then it echoes a repeat. Aggravating.
I really like this app but I have one question can you be able to hear some one who calls you on the phone let me now
This app has made it possible for me to hear again. My hearing aids went out and I have downloaded several other apps trying to be able to hear so I could communicate with children and family as well as watch TV. This app works so well I can hear everyday conversation. I can hear the tv when the volume is at a level that is not blaring to everyone else. Thank you for such a helpful app. I was actually able to smile today for the first time in months. Being deaf is unbelievably depressing.
I have moderate hearing loss. This app works well for TV watching .a little lag but sure that is from my phone. Great app thank you.
Does not amplify very well at all. Massive delay in audio when it actually works. When using headset, app gives massive feedback. Complete waste of time.
Due to some recent events I had to pick this app up and I does exactly what I want it to do.
Stops every time I select the start button.
I heard an intense rapping noise in my earphones at a about 2 beats per second
Easy to use it and sound is incredible.
Masive echo....building up to complete and ear shattering distortion! Is not compatible with my S5 active...over..over..OVER !!!
Crashes when start button pressed.
The feature I was looking for that this app doesn't have, is the ability to use the bluetooth mic to feed the bluetooth speaker on a AfterShokz BlueZ headset. My purpose is to be able to plug my ears, but be able to hear external sounds by bone conduction without my phone microphone having to be pointed toward the sound source, so I can keep it in a pants pocket.
